I'm so annoyed! The manager of the return place should know that if you use your phone to pay, you cannot tap your card because it will not be on your card.... I bought 2 lavender plants there three weeks ago. I went to return it. She had me tapped the card, they couldn't find it. I even pulled up my credit card statement saying I had purchased it on 10/20/25 here at this location. They're like no, no. We can't find it. So then the lady did a search on my card with my ID and she said she can't find it. Then she tried to scan my plant and said it's not showing up. So I tapped with my phone I was able to return it. PSA when I did buy my two lavender plants, there was a big sign saying 20%. When I did purchase them, I was like oh it's 20% not included and the cashier at the garden center had a sneaky remark saying "I wish people would read the sign. You have to buy 29 or more to get the 20% off." And I looked at her and said the 29 and more font is size 12 while the 20% font a size 500 anyone could make that mistake.. If I could give zero stars, I would recently ordered carpet for a single small bedroom, Home Depot sends out someone to measure and they end up sending the wrong measurements and we were overcharged and had extra carpet. We had to stop the process cancel everything and wait another two weeks for the carpet and more time to schedule for them to install. I've called two times they've taken my name and number so they would look into it and have not returned my calls horrible customer service horrible company. This Home Depot is our usual go-to place for our DIY needs, and I have noticed increased professionalism and friendliness over the past decade and I nearly always find what I need in stock. Recently, they earned my lifetime loyalty when a young child had a panic attack after losing track of their family. The staff swiftly set into action via camera surveillance, and specific floor crew clearing each isle as they looked for the child. They were found quickly a a female staff found them sitting behind the bbq grills crying, just as the security was narrowing in on the direction the child travelled via camera. Asurion sells insurance, but once it comes to helping the customer with either repairing or replacing, they disappear I have talked to many people at the company. I filed many claims until this day I have not received any kind of Assistance the technicians that come out to the house are worthless and if I could, I would never have bought this refrigerator general electric makes worthless crap so please do yourself a favor and don't ever find an electric or anything from Home Depot or get the extended warranties that they sell as they are worthless. The Home Depot app is terrible to place orders online. Yeah, I know this is about a store, not an app, but my transaction started on the app. There will be a lot to air out here, so bear with me. Let's talk about the Ryobi products for a moment. No one in the store tells you the warranty offered is only for Ryobi authorized service facilities, nor do they inform you know that there is only one in CA, which is located in Fresno. You'll need to know that info if your product doesn't make it to its first birthday. So I am obviously in need of a new lawn mower since I never got to celebrate my little Ryobi's first birthday or get him to the Ryobi healthcare facility 2 hrs away with gas at almost $5 again who wants to drive that far. Also, it bothers me to go green, and the headquarters of Ryobi is in Hong Kong, a high polluter. But whatever, this is a store issue. Head to the store to purchase a tool only since I don't need any more batteries, just a tool. To my surprise, they're only pushing tool and battery units. Who wants all those extra batteries anyway when the products don't make it long enough. So, I have a few to use and do not need to add more to the collection. Leave the store and find what I need online with a next day ship to store option. Sold! Didn't realize the nightmare to come. Confirmation email says expected delivery and pickup Tuesday. But wait before placing the order it said next day. Now i try to cancel and cannot because you can only cancel within the hour of placing the order. By Monday, everything is stuck, Tuesday is still the expected, and my email now says Weds, FedEx says Tuesday, Home Depot app says Weds but don't click the tracking from the app it doesn't work. Now let's call the store where my mower shows delivered according to FedEx. The girl that answered the phone needs to be retrained or fired. "Didn't you call yesterday? What did they tell you yesterday? Well, at this point, you can wait till Friday. " ummmm, I didn't call the store. I texted customer service, who told me Tuesday by the end of the day! I'm sorry if answering the phone is an inconvenience to the staff but the money the customers pay this store pay those wages. We, the customers, also have a right to know where the money we spend may be since we're being given the run around! So here we are today, but there is still no product that I paid for. App couldn't give me an update. "unexpected error," confirmation email still shows my item is on an adventure to who knows where. Called the 800 number, the person helping me called the store and had me on hold while I received a text message about my ORDER BEING CANCELED! CANCELED! Who approved this? The store manager was supposed to be contacted, and this would be resolved. All lies. I have no refund, so technically, you all owe me what I paid for. Most unprofessional store. I'll gladly take my business elsewhere after this. They'll sell you trash so you can spend more money there in less than a year. read more

I've shopped here several times in recent years and have never had an issue with this particular store, but this visit is forcing me to give them a one-star review. First of all, they had music/muzak cranked up so loud I could hardly think. Listening to music (especially music of someone else's tastes, not mine) is not why I shop anywhere, much less at The Home Depot. Please just keep the muzak OFF, not just quieter. People go to THD to buy building supplies, tools, etc., not to be blasted with music from the ceiling. Second, I went there to look over their water heaters and couldn't find a single store clerk to talk to, so I went to the customer service area to see if I could get someone to wait on me, and the guy there didn't have a clue what to do so he grabbed another store clerk who happened to be walking by at that moment and that guy didn't know what to do either, so I just left. I went on-line to HomeDepot.com and took care of business, so I would recommend that to visiting the store. This one-star review refers to my visit on May 3 only. So this is a place you love to hate. A necessary evil if you will. This review goes pretty much for any location I have visited. Over the years, I can't remember the $$ thousands I have spent here. They are the closest to my house thus so convenient. Usually team members in departments such as lumber, specialty departments like doors and cabinets are really good. Tony in cabinets in this store is awesome. But then you have to return something ........ now this is when you are screwed. It is not the stores fault that our state has such lax laws for stealing but then It's us paying customers that pay the price. Because of the few that steal so much from them they make it so difficult for items to be returned there. Good example is one of the perks for their reward program is that they email you a digital receipt but guess what they won't let you use that for returns... so what the point? I don't know if it's a requirement for that position to be rude, inflexible and generally as un helpful as possible but if that is the job description for a Home Depot return associate the n they are nailing it. I give it a -2 star for their return process and associates. A 5 star for its convenience, 4 star for their mostly helpful and knowledgeable associates and came up with an average of 3, am feeling generous today. read more

Curbside pickup: Used to be a joy to order and pickup curbside pickup. I recently made three curbside pickup orders in last 2 months. First of all there are only two curbside pickup parking spaces, not enough for the people picking up. Second, it takes way too long for pickup. Staff won't even bring items out unless you are parked in those two spots. Times spent waiting for these three orders: 40 minutes, 40 minutes, 35 minutes. Third, the item I picked up as a partial order the second trip was not marked picked up. This resulted in staff spinning their wheels looking for the already-picked-up item lengthening the wait. I prefer this Home Depot over others . I personally like the location. It's right in crossroads shopping center. Yes you do need to seek out someone to help you but it's same at other locations. The CUSTOMER SERVICE from RIVERBANK HOME DEPOT was excellent. FIVE STARS. I spoke to a real person, who referred me to a real person online (.com) and they cleared up something that was driving me up the wall. I made a mistake. I ordered a darling chair online, that required assembly (not by Home Depot). I didn't realize that I'd have to wait to find out when they could assemble it. It was delivered Monday and Wednesday afternoon I was still not scheduled for "assembly" of the 2 boxes in my entry way. I tried to contact people for help and you know the runaround game...until I had had enough and didn't even want the chair anymore. Thanks to RIVERBANK Home Depot service, and a really nice person on the .com line, I am returning everything and UPS will come and pick up the chair tomorrow or the next day. Hopefully tomorrow. Home Depot delivery of my dishwasher showed up on time. Henry the technician who installed the dishwasher came with two other guys, one from El Salvador and the other one from Brooklyn, New York. They were courteous and pleasant to work with. Henry had a very nice surprised for me. Since I didn't opted for installation, which was for $180, and $50 bucks for hauling my broken dishwasher, he offered to installed and haul my old dishwasher as a compliment of Riverbank, Home Depot. This even included the new hoses and the air gap. Being retired and with the bad economy that was big blessing and was so delighted that I almost feel like hugging Henry. For gratuity I gave them a fair tip not much but enough for a nice lunch for all 3 of them. Those guys and Home Depot Riverbank made my day blessed. Thank you. read more

If able to give zero stars, I would. Terrible handling of this entire situation by the assistant managers Davin and Anita. We were given a $100 gift card for Christmas. Went to use in store and PIN was accidentally scratched off. We were told we would have to call the service line and come back another day. This was wrong. Called the service line and was told that the manager had to call them with the card. So we drive back after our jobs, and the manager does not inform us that the service line is only operable during certain hours and that we should leave the gift card with them as they could call in the morning or during normal operating hours. In hindsight, it was our fault for leaving the gift card with them. The next day, they call back and state that the gift card has a balance of zero and was redeemed - all while in Home Depot's possession. Davin, the manager, states if we spend money at HIS store, he will "compensate" us while WE have to call the fraud department and while WE have to drive back, yet again, to get the empty gift card. In the end, we're "gifted" the $100 of store credit we should've initially had to begin with only and are out several hours of our own lives due to the inability to manage workers and understand store policies. On top of it all, Davin was extremely rude and insensitive to the matter to my significant other. Absolutely the worst service I've ever dealt with and will most certainly never return to this store or Home Depot. The actual manager, Cohen, needs to get this store in order immediately. read more

Waited on phone for over 3 hours! The people there placed me on hold SEVERAL YES SEVERAL times and EACH AND EVERY TIME SOMEONE PICKED IT UP after being on hold for over 25 min, 15 min, 18 min 12 min 22 min 16 min and 17 minutes JUST TO HANG UP!!! All were females and one even tried telling me no one was ever placed on hold. All were females except the last one was a male and I was just plain livid. At least he made some sort of effort to look for a part. If theres no skew# or product # just hang up your wasting your time trying to get them to look it up on amazon when it's just a 1 1/2 inch non thread pipe with a connector to skimmer for a pool. In the end, they didn't have it. He said we could transfer you to the plumbing department but not sure if they will pick up. Welp I was just soooooo damn tired of waiting (like who wouldn't be?) I said you know you guys close in 24 min anyway i am soo over calling. I'll just wait for the product to arrive from amazon. HOME DEPOT CEO/Home Depot Manager on Riverbank if you are seeing this. I needed a new dishwasher since the old one conked out. I purchased the new dishwasher along with the service to install and take the old one out. To the young couples or anyone looking to replace their appliances because it's needed, caveat emptor. When the installers came in, they said I needed to have a handyman come in and trim the top edge of the enclosure because the new dishwasher wouldn't fit but the old dishwasher could come out but both dishwashers were the same size. So, I hired a handyman to come in and take the trim of at a cost of $220. Only to find out by the new installers that the trim was not necessary. And, although the new dishwasher has been installed, the cost was $220 for unnecessary work. Am I upset? Yes. Apparently, Home Depot does a poor job of vetting their installers and their sales people. So, why do I bring in the sales people? I found out while I was purchasing something else, that my phone number was put entered incorrectly. I had them correct it after the sales but apparently, it wasn't done because the installers could not find my location and could not call me because my phone number was not correct on their delivery sheet. After they got to me and told me of the delay to the installation because of the fit problem, I called and asked them to fix the phone number. They rescheduled me in the days ahead. On the day of the second attempt at installation, I called to verify that they had the correct address and they still did not have the correct phone number. And I gotta say that they finally sent out some professional installers and got the dishwasher installed but all the drama before plus the additional costs, I would advise find different options. read more
