I've been going through all sorts of adventures since my dishwasher leaked water. When the company removed the flooring. They also removed the old dishwasher that was leaking. They also took out the hose that was attached to my waterline. To do this they had to turn off my water to the sink and that's how they left it!l if I turn the water back on, it comes spewing out through the T pipe that was put in for the dishwasher hose. I talked to somebody at Home Depot who knows about plumbing and I got a little 3/8 inch cap with an O-ring in it that I could put on that T pipe and stop the water from coming out until my new dishwasher arrives. read more

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience renting an electric hand saw. The website mentioned that the tool "may require accessories," but this statement was vague and unclear. As a customer, I had no idea that I would need to purchase the blade separately. I feel as though I was unfairly charged additional costs, and this has left a negative impression. Other rental companies I've used do not require such purchases, and in hindsight, I wish I had gone with one of them instead of Home Depot. read more

This location has the most helpful employees. My grandmother often sends me here for things that are heavy or awkward and employees always come right to my aid and offer assistance without being asked. Today, I needed an item that I was struggling to find. After asking someone for help, they also struggled to find what I was after. He asked where I was headed next and then offered to continue looking and come find me in the paint department if he found it. Sure enough, just as my paint was ready to go, he approached me with the item I needed. My grandmother says she prefers to come here rather than the Lowe's, which is closer to her, purely because they are so nice and helpful to her when she has to shop there on her own. I really appreciate knowing she has stores she can shop that treat her well when I'm not here to help her. read more

I was a dedicated shopper at Home Depot until recently. I had just remodeled a small space and purchased over $10,000 worth of merchandise from your store. Part of that purchase was a suite of appliances, including a Frigidaire refrigerator. Unfortunately, I mistakenly allocated too small of a space for the refrigerator, which doesn't fit. I called the Seminole store manager for help, and he informed me that Home Depot does not accept appliance returns. As a result, I am now stuck with a $1,100 refrigerator that I cannot use. I still need a refrigerator that fits, and I've since learned that Best Buy sells the same items and offers a 15-day return policy on all appliances. I wish I had known about this before making my purchase. I will be canceling my Home Depot credit card and will no longer buy appliances from Home Depot again. read more

I strongly recommend that you call ahead to make sure you can get what you want first before showing up to buy something. It may take two or three tries but be patient. Eventually you will reach the right person. I didn't take my own advice because I thought I knew from prior experience. I was wrong. Home depot makes copies of keys for autos. I wanted a simple door key to be made from an ignition transponder (chip) key but the associate tried to tell me I needed to buy a chip key or she couldn't do it. I told her I have had this done before at depot but she insisted there was nothing she could do. Boy was she wrong! Because of her unprofessional attitude she made me find a true low cost alternative at Ace Hardware on Seminole Boulevard. They made me the copy for 2.98 - that's right less than 3 dollars. Even if she had taken the time to do the right thing, it would have cost me three times that much and the key using her transponder blank would have cost SEVENTY DOLLARS! The ignorance and lies of a few rotten apples are not soon forgotten and I will never have another key made at any Home Depot again. Ace Hardware is at 12344 Seminole Boulevard or less than 4 miles north. They have people that have time to get what you need and they don't try to rip you off like Lowes or Home Depot. read more

I would rather crap a cactus plant than shop at this place again. Terrible customer service. I wondered around looking for several items, not once did an employee ask if I needed help. Apparently, picking your nose and standing around doing nothing in the fastener aisle is more important than offering to help the guy who's there to spend money. I was ignored by at least 10 employees. (Fortunately, there was just the one nose picker.) You'd think that HUGE stores would understand that things are hard to find in a big place, so they'd train their employees to offer assistance. You'd think that. You'd be wrong. Also, they don't have many baskets to use while shopping. I absolutely hate using carts, so I had to make the trek back to my car to get a bag so I could shop and spend money in their store. I really don't understand big-box retailers. Yeah, I know, if someone has a cart, they MIGHT buy more stuff. I'd be willing to bet there are a lot more people like me who are less likely to shop at a place that doesn't provide baskets for those who are only buying a few small items. Not that many people probably really actually enjoy going to The Home Depot on a weekend...but I truly detest going to The Home Depot on a weekend. This was a madhouse. I'm glad to report that they do have someone standing at the door to make sure everyone entering wears a mask. Once inside the store it's a total free for all. I wandered with a total "omg panic what am I doing" look on my face for what seemed like forever. I couldn't find a single employee anywhere. The store itself was well stocked, I've heard rumors of hardware stores being pretty picked through during these pandemic days, but fortunately that was not the case. This is a Home Depot for weekend warrior experts only. If you're needing some help, I wouldn't recommend. My trip to the store was for supplies to paint an old surfboard to use as ~home decor~ . Disgustingly bad customer service. Tried to confirm a delivery time the day before, but kept getting an erroneous message when responding to their instructional text. Delivery drivers lied to their manager, stated they came to deliver an hour later than they actually did. Spent over an hour with their customer service, who said they would look into it. Never heard back Then they made us wait 5 additional days for the delivery, and did not come at the prearranged time that day even though it was confirmed. Angry customer! I ordered some flooring from Home Depot that took roughly two weeks. Unfortunately for me, the order only had 28 of the 32 cases. I called customer service and the gentlemen said come on in, we'll make it right. I drove back and they didn't have the other 4 cases in the store and called some warehouse to order them. I have a flooring guy coming in 3 days, the order won't arrive until 10 days. Their mistake but I'll have to pay the consequences. I asked if it could be expedited but there isn't a process for it. I asked if they could install the remainder since their mistake to which they responded that they wouldn't do that. I asked for the DM, his name is Gary DeMarinis. They advised to call customer "care". I spend a lot of money at Home Depot. They lost a customer for life. Let's see how much they "care". read more

Ramirez delivery service LLC Worst company EVER ....Home Depot hires them and they admit they are the worst company ever We are on the third time trying to get a simple microwave installed first time their screwdriver didn't work so they couldn't take the microwave out . (Me and my son who have no experience at all )had to take it out in less than 17 minutes our self. Second time around something with the exhaust in the home so again they couldn't install it I need to hire a handyman first before having them do their job. But that wasn't the worst of it( 2 days Taking off of work to be home for a four hour window) I had to cancel my item because if my handyman can't come in three days then I'm stuck with the microwave that Unless install I don't know if it works, if it has problems ,or anything because it's not out of the box yet. So logic would have it I need a receipt stating that the order is canceled as proof since they're taking my microwave that I paid for and putting it back on their truck but they flat out refused so I had to get in my car follow them until I can get a hold of Home Depot and get something that states my canceled item as proof Well Ramirez delivery company didn't like that I was following them, go figure ?Was I mad yes was a loud yes I had every right I had taken two days off of work and still not got my product installed . I placed an online order yesterday for a carpet cleaning machine to be delivered today. The window was 6am-8pm which I thought was a very large window but I gave it the benefit of the doubt. I thought if I had to, I could stay up late to get the carpet cleaned for the showing tomorrow. It never arrived, At all. I have a showing tomorrow. It never arrived. Why offer a delivery service? I drove to Home Depot at 6pm and was told I could not pick it up, it was coming from a different store. And they still had 2 hours to get it to my house. It never arrived. When I called store at 7:55 no one answered. It transferred me to online customer service, who was very nice, they said it was still at the store. They of course transferred me to the store. It rang the store at 8:00 and security answered saying the store was closed, check tomorrow. Well, that doesn't do me any good, does it. read more

You know you're getting older when you spend Friday nights at The Home Depot instead of the local bar. We bought this little gem last night after my wife did some extensive research. With its 40v battery, cruise control and self-propelled capacity there's no reason why I couldn't be mowing the grass right now.. best thing about this mower, it's handle folds over for easy storage (pic to come. The worst in service! Wanted to purchase a tool chest for over $600 and couldn't even get a salesperson to help and when we did he wanted to talk on the phone more. Actually walked away when my husband was talking to him. Entitled to a discount but have to down load their app and work through their program. Can't imagine a 70-80 year old trying to do that. Home Depot is far from military supportive. Ended up leaving and going to Lowes. Service was so much better and got the discount to almost the same price. I wanted two interior doors replaced at my home. They charged me 40 bucks for a measurement they never did. So, the next day, a get a notice that a contractor working through Angi's list were scheduled to do the work. Home Depo set this up without my knowledge. They also had me sign up for a program where I could get discounts on future work. Turns out this was to subscribe me to Angi's list!!! I had no Idea they did this. I cancelled the job within the 24 hrs. required, but they still charged the whole job to my credit card. The credit card company recognized that this was a fraudulent charge and denied it. Both Home Depot and Angi's list are corrupt companies with a long list of underhanded acts against customers...... read more

I had HD install attic insulation throughout my house. I was charged for baffles but they were not installed. I was charged for wire "buckets " to keep the insulation off of the top hat lights. A fire hazard. They were not installed. The day of the installation, I called to complain and was told I would get a call back. Never happened. The sales woman who sold the job "Don't work here no more ". Total dissatisfaction is not a strong enough phrase to describe how I feel. read more

Prices: fair prices. I go here for spray paint since it's wayy cheaper (half the price) than craft stores. 5 stars. Employees: Eh, they weren't that eager to help me. At another kind of home store, employees greet me with a hello and can I help you find what you're looking for. I felt like an annoyance when I went here. This is the area I felt they lost brownie points in. A customer will spend more $ (good for the company) when 1) they can find what they're looking for and 2) most of us don't know a lot about home projects, so with your knowledge, you can help us figure out all the supplies we didn't know we needed and again, we'll spend more (plus you'll save us a trip back to the store!). 4 stars. Parking: Spacious parking lot. They seem to clear the carts out of the way so that was nice. No need to worry about someone slamming their cart into my car. Well lit and safe. 5 stars. Why doesnt it surprise me this store has so many poor reviews? Starts with this store management's inflexibility to work with repeat customers and bad business decisions. Since moving to Seminole this year, I've purchased several thousand of dollars of building materials here. This can readily be seen from my credit card account, linked to my address and phone number at home depot. Nonetheless, when I went this week to buy a dishwasher, alot of 2x4s, a door and miscellaneous, again totaling over $1,000, this store refused free delivery of everything to my house, 3.5 miles away, along with the dishwasher delivery that was included. Breana in customer service literally rolled her eyes when I pleaded whether store manager wouldn't agree on this sized purchase, and I couldn't get door and 2x4s home in my sedan. Oh no, they were greedy for the $75 fee to go 3.5 miles, so I ended up buying everything and the dishwasher from S. Clearwater Lowes. Further, but has staff like Joe who's voluntarily helpful and cares to make sales. I was already awaiting flooring delivery there, and they had no problem including the addl items for free. Smart business decision and a new loyal Lowes customer with investment properties to boot. Finally, Home Depot spitefully mis-entered my phone number and address (which I saw was originally correct in the system but obviously changed later on). Sefallly, said she was operations manager, never called back to let me know if delivery rescheduled, etc. Stock investors and corporate Home Depot - stores like this will slowly erode your whole franchise value! Phone Customer Service at the following Home Depot 10550 Park Blvd N, Seminole, FL 33772 Is awful, you can be on hold on the phone for long periods of time. In several occasions the phone was transferred and it just rang and rang. I had to call about 4-6 times and after being transferred from extension to extension I was finally able to get someone on the phone that can assist me. Then the person that picked up tells me, "I picked up because no one is at this desk and the phone was ringing like crazy". This is ridiculous. Now that they have self checkouts, there is no reason for a person not to pick up a phone to provide assistance. Please Home Depot look at your processes when clients are calling for assistance. The worst experience I have had by far at any Home Depot. I did my research online before I went in and chose them because they said they said they had stock and could get it to me the fastest for the best price. Turns out; no stock, had to wait even longer than the original promised three weeks and then only to have to have my appliances taken back by the delivery people because they couldn't install them. The store was NO help and each supervisor happily passed me off to another and each "would get back to me later in the day" which never happened. I always had to initiate the call. The delivery men left the protective plastic on part of the stove and when I turned on it on to heat some water, had a ruined ceramic cook top on a brand new 2,500 stove. All HD had to say was" well we can give you some scrubbers and hope that helps" Really??? Never again. So much for doing your research read more

Refrigerator portion not cooling and lights going off like a flying saucer on the front. Call today sorry your past 48 hours we do not return products. But will send someone out in a week meanwhile all my food is spoiled and I do not have a refrigerator. It would be a huge mistake to do business with them in any way shape or form. No care for the customer and even less for the fact that you spent good money on a product that is defective. And then the fact that service will not be there for a week. And we all know with the chip shortage and PC boards going bad there will not be any parts to fix the refrigerator. Been through this before with another refrigerator recently. I shop for lumber to make projects on a monthly basis. Tonight I have finally concluded that I will only purchase my lumber from this Home Depot because simply of great customer service. Sam was in mill work and told me about an alternate lumber for my project to make it more cost effective and better than my original choice. Sam also was able to get my order ready for pick up the next day since I had my little girl with me. Today's efforts to be 1 are hard to come by but Sam truly helped and was a pleasure to assist me. Jane in the gardening department is so unfriendly. I was looking for a specific type of plant and couldn't find it. I didn't see anyone around so I went and waited in line until it was my turn and asked Jane if she had any of that type of plant. She threw her hands up and said she had no idea. I asked if anyone was around for me to ask so she stomped her foot and picked up the phone to call. When nobody answered she huffed and puffed. I told her never mind and left. Derek in Appliances really knows his stuff. He gets 5 stars but the Protection Plan corporate offers gets 00. We have had 4 service calls, each of which required lengthy phone calls, call backs, and half-day waits for the service. Each call was to fix the same problem (ice &/or water not dispensing through the door) so I believed it qualified for their touted "No lemon policy;" turns out it doesn't - each time a technician has come out they have replaced different parts. Turns out the "no lemon policy" only applies to the same part not the same problem. What a scam! In the hope I might talk some reason with Asurion (who issues the protection plan); I called to talk to an associate and a supervisor - no luck because the same part hasn't been replaced 3 times. I was working on a project that required purchase of a piece of beadboard siding, cut to fit certain dimensions. I went to this store in March, 2017, and found the siding but was told they couldn't cut it for me, as "the saw is broken." I went in again in yesterday, August 12, for the same thing, having put my project on hold, and I again was told the saw is broken. I find it hard to believe that each time I go, the same saw is broken. How can a place like Home Depot do business in lumber if they can't keep their saw from breaking or replace it? I'm almost ready to believe that both employees told me that so they wouldn't have to do it. Home Depot remodeled about a year ago, adding more self checkout options. All the friendly cashiers are still there and eager to help if you want it. No jobs have been taken away, just more registers added to help get in and out. Love it! read more
