Purchased 24" wide Novus Performance Products, LLC 2-stage gas powered snow blower model NV24DSGL on 1/20/2026 & the components arrived by UPS in a 147 lb box a few days later. Directions on assembly and maintenance were lacking in essential detail. 3 washers were missing. Explanation on how to get wheels on a partially moving axle after installing bushings would have been helpful. How is one to know how to adjust drive belt? How is one to know how many threads to tighten on the 2 drive speed control rod lengths to enable BOTH the 2 reverse gears AND all the forward gears? Is there an air filter that requires maintenance? Where is the breather pipe? How does one access the spark plug for maintenance? What is to be connected to what to power the light? Once some of this was figured out by a lot of research & deduction, it worked OK. However, I have 4 questions that still need answered. read more

This Home Depot is very good. The store is clean, the employees greet you, are friendly, and offer assistance and advice. I'm not used to this sort of southern hospitality, being from Cleveland/Parma. The Home Depot employees there don't always greet you or offer assistance. I've noticed a theme at retailers in and near Medina/Wadsworth - people are actually friendly! I could get used to this! I shopped for new appliances and the friendly employee helped me pick out the ones I needed. I then visited the electrical department and two employees immediately greeted me and offered assistance, even though I didn't need it. I also visited the lighting department where I was greeted and I discussed replacing some recessed light fixtures with new LED ones. All them employees I encountered were excellent. I'm liking it and I will be back. read more

Worst experience ever. Bought appliances and was not informed that I had to do all the uninstall upfront. Their delivery and install crew did NOTHING but pile it all in my garage and not haul the old away or install both services of which I paid for in addition to appliances. Had a non-working appliance delivered and it has been nothing but a pain to get a repair or replacement. Rude management. All you hear is "we can't do that" and they are basically taking money for services they don't even perform or do. It is a nightmare situation with no straight answers when you call their help line. Nothing is handled properly, and it is all hassle. They like to pass the buck and not take responsibility or honor their own services they sell to people. I will not be doing business with them ever again going forward. All double talk, lies, no service honored even with paid signed agreements. Horrible. read more

Awesome home improvement store.. Great customer service and awesome team. The team is very knowledgeable about the departments they work in. Sandy over in paint has such a great personality. Sara is the assistant manager and she really has a great attitude when it comes to helping others if you are a customer or if you are an employee. This store has to be the worst I have ever dealt with, and their products & policies are the reason i will never shop Home Depot again. On 2-22-19 i purchased a Amana washer and dryer, so far so good right...no. I waited 1 week for delivery, 2-28-19 they came and dropped them off and the dryer hose was 2 feet to short, the store was told we needed an extra long hose for venting, they sent a short one. we had to go back to the store just for the hose. the washing machine did not work from the start, it would fill up with water and then drain it out, fill up again , and drain it out. I called the store immediately, first employee told me once it was paid for it's not their problem after it leaves the store. another employee tried to help me..really he did, but the first guy was a joke with a name tag. so now i had to wait another week or so 3-7-19 for the delivery people to come out and say..Yes it is broken, call the store back to get another one. I did and the store said it's not our problem , again wouldn't anyone expect to get some kind of help from the store you purchase something at? or is it just me? so here i am with a useless washing machine for 2 and a half weeks doing nothing and they call and tell me they have another 1 in stock and will change it out for me...so 5 days later they call and say it will be 8 more days to deliver it 3-20-19. I told them that won't do for me, i need it sooner then that, they said ok...the 19th then..1 day less. bottom line here ladies and gentleman is I told them to pick up both washer and dryer, I will never buy anything from home depot again read more

I went in to look at refrigerators and the first guy who asked if he could help went and told an appliance clerk who then came to help. When I described what I wanted--a bottom freezer, full door (not french door), with water/ice in the door--he said "oh, you want white". What?!?! So a third guy came and I repeated what I wanted. After walking the first aisle with him, along with my 86 yr old mom who was wheeling an oxygen machine, I stopped when I realized he had no idea if they had what I was seeking. He finally noticed I wasn't with him, and I told him I couldn't walk every aisle with my mom like that, and asked him if he knew if they had what I wanted or not. He said no, that's why he was looking. I could have done that myself. I got "assisted" by Dumb and Dumber, I guess. Wasted my time and my poor mom's energy. Like the previous reviewer said, this store's employees need some more customer service training. read more

The (Wadsworth, Ohio) Home Depot is not a contractor friendly store. I am a contractor and this is my home store since it is only about 5 miles from my location. The lumber department in this location is horrible. It is always in shambles, it is a safety hazard and they run out of materials often. When a delivery arrives at that store, the materials are stacked along the lumber bins making it impossible to access the lumber. I have seen people, including myself, hand pick large pieces of lumber and struggle to get the pieces from the rack to the cart, while two Home Depot employees walk right on by joking around, completely ignoring the customers who obviously need help. The pro desk is a joke. Those people just sit in a chair all day looking at a computer screen totally ignoring everything around them. I am surprised people do not get injured trying to navigate their lumber department. It sucks. That store is set up for home owners and weekend warriors who want to buy flowers, mowers, paint, and maybe a new refrigerator or something like that. Their employees are inexperienced and seem like they really don't want to do any work. One bright spot is that the people (mostly girls) at the check out areas are friendly and actually seem like they care, unlike the floor employees. I have changed my home store to the Arlington road location. Much better and much more contractor friendly. They have a full time loader and their pro desk is a real pro desk. read more

Let me start by saying I Love Home Depot. The staff is way better than Lowes. And the selection is much better than Lowes. THE REASON FOR 1 STAR IS: The Door and Window section. I bought a new interior door and a new storm door. This is where it all starts. Interior door was in stock. They told me they had to order the storm door. Well over a week went by without hearing so I stopped in. The guy (who was great) said: are these doors going together? YES THEY ARE. Well there's 2 different sizes listed here? 1st mistake! He fixed the order and 2 weeks later they were ready to install. Interior door gets installed and I get a call from the installers. Did you order a brown storm door? NO I DID NOT! It should be white. So he didn't install it, Thank baby Jesus. BACK TO THE HOME DEPOT WE GO! After a 1/2 an hour they tell me I was Over charged and the door I need is in stock!!!! 3 weeks of waiting for nothing. Alright I tell my wife everything's good now. I get home the day of the storm door install and it looks GREAT! Then, I look at the screen insert. WHY DO I HAVE A BROWN SCREEN INSERT FOR A WHITE DOOR??!!! Call the Home Depot and they basically tell me there's no way I have a brown screen insert for a white door. He said someone will call me. 1 week later No Call. So I call again. Finally I get ahold of a woman who says bring it back and we'll switch it. 1 month after ordering I have a beautiful new front door and storm door. read more

I purchased a floor in April 2016. It is now August and I do not have a floor. The installers did not have enough product to finish the installation because of a bad measurement done by Home Depot. When the installers returned weeks later to finish the floor they noticed the floor was warping and bowing and told us the floor wouldn't last a year. They asked us if we took a steamer to the floor??? Home Depot ordered more floor to replace the 1/3rd of the damaged floor. When the installers came back out they said now 2/3rds of the floor was damaged. When the installers opened the box sitting in another room the product ordered to replace the damaged product was already damaged. Planks were bowed and edges were damaged. Home Deport will not correct the issue claiming water damage, but can not find any source of damage. Note the box of replacement product was in another room without any water sources at all. I have been a customer for over 10 years and have NEVER been treated this badly on a project ever. Stay away from flooring and the manager. I expected better of this company. read more

First off let me start by saying I have been to this store so many times over the years and always been happy. I went to your store on Saturday April 26 to by carpet and paint .i would think this time of year would be very busy for both the departments .At least the paint .they were so busy and only had one person working .she was very nice with a fake smile, that was the best she could do .there were four other people waiting in line . We did buy two cans of paint . We then went to carpet and found that only one girl was working there to . We however did not buy carpet . The person was rude . And not really wanting to help. I not sure what happen to this store but whatever or whoever is running it has a bunch of very unhappy associates .you need more people out on the floor helping customers.
