Ordered a dishwasher through this store with installation. The original installers didn't hook up the drain pipe correctly so it flooded below the dishwasher and down to my basement. I had to wait a week for a new crew to come out who took 2 seconds to tell me the issue and I'd have to get a new dishwasher installed and I'd get a call soon to schedule it. After a couple days without a call, I called the installer who said I was already scheduled for a day I wasn't available so it needed to be rescheduled again for an even later date. Worst store, worst location. I bought a fridge and had a host of problems. They didn't need the water line so I went to return it for $19.06. I had opened a Home Depot card to buy the fridge, but I already paid it off. I kindly asked if I could just get cash back, as it was under $20 and I would never use that card again. They refused. I asked to speak to a manager. The manager refused. I asked to speak to the GM, they wouldn't give me the number. But they said they would give him mine and I would be contacted. I was never contacted. They then took my water line and said they automatically returned it, but refused to give me my money. They basically stole from me. I said I never said that was okay. I went to Home Depot in Walker MI to get 4 OSB boards. I couldn't lift them myself so I asked the cashier for some help. I stood there and waited at least ten minutes while she tried to get a hold of someone that could help me. In the meantime, there are employees everywhere walking around the store. The cashier finally got ahold of someone who could help me and they loaded my boards onto a flat cart that I couldn't steer with out the boards falling off. I'm so very disappointed and will definitely be doing all of my shopping at Menards from now on. read more

Be careful buying paint at this location the people working paint are clueless. They are slow and must be watched so that the paint ordered is correct. The wait is long and not because of customer orders it seemed to me the home depo paint service people like to chit chat and not put the customer first. read more

My washer wasn't properly installed. I had requested that it be installed when I ordered it. The paperwork showed I didn't request this. But the delivery guys agreed to install it. I wish they hadn't. Went to run a load after they left. I go in and see water all over my carpet. I check the hose, and guess what? It was dangling off the back! All the water went straight onto the floor. I had to go out, buy pliers, and do the work myself. Oh, and I couldn't get through to the delivery person to let him know what happened. Got put through to voicemail. How utterly unprofessional. I won't be ordering from Home Depot again, especially since the original delivery time earlier this week got miscommunicated by HD. I wish I could give zero stars. HD really needs to reconsider their delivery service provider. read more

Homedepot double charged me on a bill of $1158. So I was charged $2316. Because of this I got charged an overdraft fee! I went to the store to get it fixed and was told it was my bank, not them. I'm pretty fucking sure my bank doesn't change me twice for this. Because of this fuck up I have no money on my account for food, gas, cat food, and I'm going have to cancel my plans I had for Tuesday because my bank account is in a negative balance! I was in store to purchase a Gas Dryer on Thursday afternoon. Had one picked out and ready to purchase. Sales associate didn't seem interested in me as I waited. When done talking to another person, she went into the back room leaving me standing there. I left at that point and went to another store and was politely greeted and purchased a dryer from them. You just lost a Big sale from a customer that wanted to buy. Your door greeters are great, but sales people need training before you loose more sales. I purchased a refrigerator for delivery. The first one was damaged on delivery. I called and they said they will send me a new one. The second one came and they damaged my house and brought the wrong color refrigerator. After 9 days of complaining, they finally told me that they have a no return or refund policy on appliances. They said the extended warranty I purchased covers 50% off parts. So they want me to buy new doors because they delivered the wrong color. This Home Depot itself is fine, but the contract company Home Depot uses to install flooring, United Home Services, is horrible. We had a flooring installation scheduled for a Thursday morning and had been told for several weeks that we'd receive a phone call the day of the install between 8-10 am (Thursday morning). We based our work schedules around that timeframe, arrived at the house between those hours and NEVER GOT A CALL from the installers! We wasted so much time waiting around and when calling United Home Services to find out where the installers were, all they could tell us is "we can't get a hold of the installers," and they weren't allowed to give out his cell phone #. United Home Services has zero reliability and I wish Home Depot would not partner with them because they are useless. read more
