My delivery was today.. the text message update was amazing I knew how many stops away they were ( great feature ) Two young men arrived at my house AND they were AMAZING. When I tell you they went above and beyond their job description I mean it ! I only know one of their first names Victor . They were so personable. I mean you are just delivering a fridge right ? They have everything but it can be hard to find specific items without help as things are moved around or disorganized within the aisles. It took a while to find someone to help, only to have the credit card reader fail multiple times at the self checkout, which was the only option. The card worked fine at Amazon moments later and it was cheaper. I will avoid Home Depot in the future. read more

Even a 1 star rating is too high for the experience that I have had with Home Depot of Westfield. Several days ago I ordered a series of items from Home Depot that would be delivered to me house and was ensured that they would make it here by Friday (today). When I called the store earlier in the day to check on the status, I was told that I actually needed to call the 1-800 number because the store couldn't look up any information - no problem! I got off the phone and called the 1-800 number where I was on hold for an hour and a half, only to be told that since the store was delivering the products I had to call the store to get that information. At this point I'm a little frustrated, but understand that confusion happens and with everything going on right now it wasn't that big of a deal. I called the store back & was told once again that I needed to call the 1-800 number so I asked to speak to the manager - what a mistake! She was rude, unprofessional, & unhelpful. She took my order number and after a few seconds told me she would be unable to provide any additional information than that it was supposed to be delivered between 6am & 8pm tonight and if that's what my email said then that's what would happen. When the delivery had not arrived by 7:45, I tried my luck to see if I could get ahold of the manager again and see if she could provide any kind of update. The first time I called and was connected to the manager the l could hear background noises and was then disconnected. Thinking I had just been disconnected by accident I called right back - after the 6th time of this happening it didn't feel so accidental and became exceptionally frustrating. It is now 8:15, I do not have my delivery and I am unable to get ahold of someone. Although I had plans that relied on the successful delivery of my tools by today, that is not where my biggest frustration and point of grievance lies - the customer service that I received was completely unacceptable and will cause me to think twice before shopping there in the future. Is my lack of patronage going to affect Home Depot at all? No, I'm not delusional. Is anyone going to read this yelp review? Probs not. Am I being a textbook Karen? Absolutely. But, I don't care, this was a very frustrating experience & if you're looking to enjoy the true glory of a home improvement store I'd suggest finding a local business or switching from orange to blue to support Lowe's! read more

I ordered a snow blower from Home Depot and it was left in the middle of my driveway, blocking traffic, about 100 yards from my home. The delivery company refused to pick up the machine, as I made a return request, until December 29th, leaving it where it was literally dumped on December 20th. Two local Home Depot stores refused to offer any help with returning the machine. read more

This review is way overdue. We received outstanding customer service from Victor S. in the paint department. Knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Very pleased, highly recommend. In addition, we were extremely pleased with the help we received from Sean K. , the service desk supervisor on 11/26/2021 who successfully resolved an issue to our satisfaction. Deplorable delivery service. I paid well over $1,000 for two appliances which were supposed to be delivered and installed on a specific day. They were not. Instead, I received a message saying "delivery attempted." I will not mince my words. This message was a lie. Our operation here is a 24 hour one. Delivery was NOT attempted. I can only assume that lazy delivery/installer guys wanted to go home early. Now I am being told I'll have to wait another whole week for delivery! Absolutely disgusting service. Do NOT use HD. HUGE Fail! 30 days of trying to get doors measured and ordered but every human error that could happen DID happen! They do have some kind staff that tried to fix other people's errors but now someone deleted the measurements for the doors! I give up! I give up on this order but also I give up on Home Depot!! PS If you do order Anything from Home Depot be sure to ask the staff person if they actually Work in that department or arw they just covering. If just covering Run, don't walk, RUN! Absolute nightmare with a flooring order/measurement. Cancelled order- Home Depot Management agreed they screwed up and would refund entire order of product, measurement fee and the install fee. I have made numerous calls and still have not received the full refund . I just keep being told it is "in processing", though no one seems to know what that actually means and they say they are unable to email me with a confirmation. Never again read more

Had a fence installed but posts weren't cemented because the subcontractor at the time lost the contract and wasn't happy to fulfill remaining jobs. After the winter, some panels swayed and sunk. New contractor came to fix the ones with issues and informed us the problem happened because the posts weren't cemented. Fast forward and it's happening again to other posts. Called but got a runaround with customer service. Sent me to one contractor who told me they don't service my area for Home Depot. After several calls and a complaint someone came to fix it. I was again told the posts with the problem weren't cemented. However, they were told to just add trap rock and not cement. Since we paid for a fence with posts that were cemented and properly secured we contacted Home Depot again. This has been going back and forth for months. Now we are told that no one will be cementing the posts and they are denying any further repairs. We are stuck with a fence that will continue to sink and sway because we still have posts that are not cemented even though we paid for them to be. Don't waste your time or money using Home Depot installations. Clearly they cut corners and string you along until enough time has passed for them to deny repairing damage caused by their improper installations. read more

I have no issue with the products and services of this store. Matter of fact, I was there looking at appliances and the woman Carol was so knowledgeable and helpful even though it was minutes b4 her shift was over, she was patient and very helpful. My beef with the store is that the dust level is so high, i coughed uncontrollably when in the store. Other stores I have been in are nice and clean. HD should care more about their customers well being and stop turning a blind eye to the air quality. Unless they do something about this, I won't be shopping there anymore. read more

Store staff with Michelle at the head is the only HD for me...Being a girl who likes to update all aspects of my home, I am always in shopping and getting ideas...I had a challange with an appliance I purchased special order...it was incorrect OMG...what to do...the one and only who heard and helped was Michelle. Purchased Home Legend Brazilian Cherry Flooring and 2 weeks after installation, bubbling and peeling of the finish was noticed. The original flooring was purchased from Home Depot in Westfield Ma. on October 24, 2014. The cost of the flooring was $2,451.44 not including installation, this was a special order product and was delivered to the home late November/early December. As recommended by the flooring manufacturers guidelines the flooring was allowed to acclimate to the home. We actually well exceeded the recommendations by leaving the floor in the home for several weeks. Within two weeks of installation we noticed some small peeling along the cut edge of the flooring. This was noticed as we were installing the baseboard trim. At first we thought this was just an issue near the edge and was not concerned. But as we were completing the trim work, more peeling areas were noticed. In January 2015 we took pictures of the flooring issues and reported the problem to Home Depot at the Pro Desk. During the process we have worked with Christine and the store manager Michele L Minniear. We have also worked with Celeste from the Home Depot National Center and she has been very helpful, but after 4 months the issue has not been resolved. The areas peeling included along the edge of the boards, along with areas that started peeling/bubbling in the middle of the boards as well. After several weeks of working with Home Depot they sent out a flooring inspector and were told that there is no defect in the floor but it was caused by the humidity in the home. We were never allowed to see the report and are told the report is the property of Home Depot. Since this report we have been documenting the temperature and humidity both on the first floor (were the flooring is installed) and the basement. This documentation consists of two meters left in two locations 24 hours a day for several months now. Pictures of the meter along with a newspaper and the date have been taken over this time period and the temperature and humidity levels have been within the manufacturer's guidelines. The flooring has continually become worse over the last 4 months. Although we are not allowed to see the report, we have been told there is too much humidity in the house causing the floor to swell, but when I questioned Christine asking her to clarify, the story changed to the floor shrinking as the floor has some spaces between the boards. So I am not sure what is correct and what is not. As a carpenter for many years, having installed thousands of square feet of pre-finished flooring and working with wood it is normal for flooring/wood to expand and contract due to the temperature and humidity. Over the last several months the temperature and humidity have remained steady. We have noticed this issue is common with Home Legend LLC. There are many complaints against the flooring and it is routine for them to deny any flooring defect. The home in question also has Brazilian Cherry Flooring (one room over) from a different manufacturer and was installed nine years ago with no such issues. At this time we are expecting to to file legal action against Home Dept, The Store Manerger and Home Legend LLC as they continually blame the conditions of the home for the defects of the floor. read more
