Recently moved to the area and always had good service. However today.... TREMENDOUS SERVICE! We were looking for some sort of bathroom sink drain cleaner because of a bad odor that had crept into the house. Luckily we came across Doug and stated our issue. To his credit he had us take a different tact with the issue which solved the problem with less time and expense. Even went back with pipe fittings and under sink pictures to make sure and he gave us perfect directions. Hannah was very rude during checkout. She made a snooty remark and snatched my military id out of my hand. She said you better renew this soon in a snarky tone. I have 6 months to renew my id that is none of your business. Then on top of that she didn't want to give me a plastic bag for what I bought. Hannah should be retrained there is something wrong with her. That's just not how you treat a customer. Maybe a rude customer but I didn't even say anything rude to her. we purchased Marcraft counter tops for our bathroom's. To make a very lengthy story short. Marcraft can NOT make a side splashes to match their custom countertops. Ordered countertops in December. picked them up in February and installed one of them only to find out the side splashes didn't match. Marcraft sent new side splashes. They didn't match. I was told by Marcraft to put them in the sun and that would help. Ive never heard anything crazier. After months of back and fourth and the Rep for Marcraft came to my house to look at the counter tops and side splashes. He said we can NOT make a side splash to match. This company is ridiculous, doesn't stand behind there product and can't make a sidesplash to match their countertop they made. I will never buy another one of there products and I recommend you don't buy it either. They made this sound like it was my fault. read more

Staff is polite, however when I called there was no answer despite ringing for at least 3 minutes. When we entered, multiple employees were attending customer service and self checkout so I don't understand why my call wasn't answered. We were looking for a product which is "available" online and could be purchased for pickup same day at this location. Unfortunately, we were told they probably didn't have it since it was marked as "1 in stock" . Just disappointed for driving out of my way, when phone call could have saved my time. read more

This HD has some really knowledgeable employees who can direct you to the most miniscule item on the aisle and approximate location of that item. I mean you must have some photographic memory to be able to tell me where that little item is located down aisle 11 on the right, but thank you for your knowledge and memory. Each time I have been in the store, I have never been disappointed with either the help or the merchandise. Usually they have the items in stock that you need and if they don't, they will order it from another store for you. During this past year with renovations there have been alot of purchases and informational visits to HD. All of this added up to alot of $$ and alot of information which at times could be overwhelming, but each time, the employees were patient and understanding of our needs and budget. I continue to rely on this store for information regarding gardening help as this region is alot different than NY. There are also incremental things that are ongoing projects that I rely on HD specialists for help with info to complete the projects. read more

Home Depot should be called Home Desperate. They sold and delivered (3 months waited for) a slide-in Downdrarft Electric Range which they cannot install. Called customer service (another 1 1/2 hour wasted time) who then put me through to the store manager who also said this was not something they install...I was lied to when purchasing said item (brought pictures, etc., to show salesperson...lotta good that did). Service, Selection, Value...my Aunt Fanny and I am being polite as I have nastier comments to deliver. They don't deserve a star. read more

Headed here to see if they had any fun seasonal deco. They do offer all the standard options you'd expect fort there chain as far as home DIY. The seasonal items were lacking but they were having a garden sale so that may be why. Staff was friendly and helpful. There store itself was very clean and well organized. Home Depot used to be my GO TO however This store soured me completely. BEWARE of buying appliances from HD. I purchased a stackable washer and dryer in September however due to Covid, I could not schedule the install I purchased scheduled until December. These items remained in the box in my home. I called for the install and was told because it was after 30 days they could/would not provide the install. When I signed for the appliances, they NEVER mentioned there was a 30 day window nor is it in writing anywhere. I pleaded with the assistant manager, Luke, and he just said, "there is nothing we can do." He offered no assistance or options. He told me he would have the store manager phone me to discuss and this Never occurred. Poorly run store with terrible customer service, Luke was always courteous however made no attempt to assist. When I asked if I could simply return the unopened units he informed me that was NOT an option given their policy on major appliances. RETURN is NOT an option when you deal with HD on major appliances. Beware. Great thing Lowes is just down the street. The get all of our business here forward. read more

The washer me and my girlfriend purchased are of high quality. No doubting that shit. But the delivery of them was poorly communicated. We waited all day for these slugs to deliver our order and it actually came an hour late. At 6:00. Made me feel like a complete fucking MORON for waiting. Not only that but the tubing on the back was crammed together like me throwing my clothes into my dresser as a kid. The installers definitely used a coloring book as the instruction manual to install these shits. Then the hag at the counter gave my girlfriend an attitude so you definitely gained some stinker points for that one. This is my go to place for everything from light bulbs to wood to to tools etc.etc. Plenty of parking and plenty space to load up all the big items. When you don't know something and (that is me) you will get your question answered if not by the first store associate, then by the second associate which they will seek out. Fortunately if you need a tutorial on virtually anything, they will take the time to explain which widget goes into what opening and how it gets attached to the what's it. I have gone into my freshman year at Home Depot and my level of knowledge is great. Returning something here is simple and painless. Credit card works well with prolonged payments with no interest. They treat their employees terribly. They treat the lazy ones like kings but the good employees they drive away and then wonder why they can't keep help. Following employees to the bathroom to "make sure they are really going to the bathroom" meanwhile none of the male lot techs are doing their job. Water Testing survey SCAM! I recently went to Home Depot and an employee asked if we would do a quick survey. we said sure and they asked what we were buying that day and what type of water we had and do we buy bottled water and my phone number. We answered everything and they said thank you and we went on our way. The next day I received a phone call from Rainsoft who said they were partners with Home Depot and when could I schedule an appointment to have our water tested and if we participated in the water testing we would receive a 25$ gift card to Home Depot. We had been wanting to have our well tested so we said ok and set the appointment which was supposed to take around an hour. The guy shows up and put on a full demonstration about rainsoft water, softening systems, that took a little over two hours. He would not test our well water because we have city water connected to the home. After the demonstration, he gave us options for water softener systems, and payment plans. We asked if we could have some time to go over our options and think about it and he said no it must be done today so the people can come out and install the system tomorrow. We didn't realize this was a pitch for a water softening system for 8 thousand dollars!! We would then have 3 days to decide if wanted to keep it or not. When we told him that we didn't want to go through with the purchase, he got very upset and packed up his stuff and stormed out of the house. He came here expecting to make a sale and was not prepared to take no for an answer. He just assumed that since he drove out here it was an automatic sale, Needless to say we did not get our $25 gift card which was promised for doing the water testing. As he stormed out of the house he asked how they hell do I get out of this place,like we were trash and then got into his car and burned off out of our driveway. Apparently you only get the 25$ gift card IF you buy a system. So needless to say my family will not be shopping at Home Depot anymore or have anything to do with Rainsoft.. I did call Home Depot and told them about his behavior and they said they would call me back but they havent yet reached out. read more

I have been watching thrir queen palms they have out front for the past two months. They started at $199 each. The price jas been reduced to $180, then $150 and this morning $100 (I have a picture). I was in the middle of a plumbing repair so I went back 2 hours later and the price had been changed to $199. Questioned staff and manager and caught them in a lie after I showed them the picture. Manager called me later to tell me they have always been $199. Absolute B.S. Lucky to have a Lowes nearby as I won't be back. read more

It's a DIY home improvement store, not much else to say. Lumber, tools, shower inserts, sod it's all here. Pricing isn't bad, the aisles are wide, usually clear and they seem to have everything thing I've ever needed. I'm withholding the forth star due to the customer service is so sporadic. On some visits you're drowning in HD employees, other visits it's like a ghost town. My last observation would be on how unprofessional it is to scold, correct a new employee (on the register) with a customer standing there....in the middle of a transaction. read more

Home Depot never disappoints. They were well stocked with hurricane supplies, and had lots of employees available to help. I needed oil and another extension cord for my generator, and I got two more flashlights and some batteries to be ready for the storm. The lady who directed me to the oil told me the wrong aisle, but I had time to look around, so it was ok. Lady checked me out, and she was so sweet! read more

This is a warning to anyone thinking of buying appliances and having them installed by Home Depot. In Feb. of 21 I purchased a dishwasher and installation from HD. The dishwasher was installed by Daryl Flood Co. the first week in March. It was installed incorrectly and leaked for 10 months into the subfloor of my home. It was discovered after the home had been closed up for a month over the xmas holidays. On Jan.9th 2022 when we returned home and walked in the whole area around the dishwasher was covered in black mold. Called HD and they had Daryl Flood co. out the next day. When the dishwasher was pulled out the entire cavity was full of mold. The person that pulled it out said the dishwasher should never have been installed this way. It was still leaking. He took several pictures and sent them to his office. Within one hour I got a call from their office and was told again that the dishwasher had been installed wrong and that Daryl Flood would be responsible for 100% of the liability. I informed HD and they submitted a case to their claims dept and told me that once it was filed they would have nothing more to do with it and I had to deal with Daryl Flood co. Bottom line the damage to my home exceeded $34,000 and I haven't had a kitchen since January. Daryl Floods insurance co is trying to make me pay over $4,000 to get my home back. Daryl Flood says they can't talk about it once they turned it over to their insurance co. I tried to talk to HD and got the same story "not their problem" deal with Daryl Flood. To get my home repaired I will have to absorb over $4,000 and will have a total cost of over $5,000 for a dishwasher. When you pay HD for installation I would think they would protect you from their third party installers but they don't, so be careful. read more

Only regarding delivery of appliances: Absolutely the worst delivery service for our refrigerator. The crew measured the front door and the entrance way to the kitchen, then proceeded to bring in the fridge. They got stuck at the front door, then tried to leave our fridge outside and walk away. Then they tried to take it back with them. Then said we have to take off both front doors. Then said they didn't have time as they had 20 deliveries left. My husband, a disabled veteran, told them to wait and he and I removed one door (im also temp disabled for nerve damage). They were able to bring in the fridge, then proceeded to ram into a box and broke our picture -glass everywhere and dented the front of the water/ice part -not even they direction into the kitchen they were supposed to enter through. No way, no hell, no how will we ever purchase another appliance through Home Depot here. We just moved here and I'm throughly disgusted with their installation/delivery crews. The staff at this location in-store are wonderful and will give them 5 stars in another review. read more

I drove to Home Depot in Yulee to get some paint. I made a special trip to get the paint from Home Depot instead of my local hardware store because I typically love their service and products. I entered the store at about 5 PM on a Wednesday which is not a busy time and sure enough the aisles were virtually empty of customers. I thought this would make my painting project simpler but unfortunately the staff must have left with the customers. I waited in the paint department for over 30 minutes with no service. I even had the front desk page someone to assist me in the paint department and still no service. Sadly I left the store without the products I came for. Although I have shopped frequently at Home Depot all over the United States for many years I will not be returning to this one. read more
