    Sour beer

Excellent choice of beers here! Someone in the group not into beer? Say what? There are wine options as well as ciders and delicious sours! They have a nice little patio area where you can enjoy your beverage and you are allowed to bring food from neighboring restaurants! We enjoyed a couple of rose pours here before I spotted the guava hibiscus sour from Payette brewing in Boise! So much flavor and the right amount of sour. Just how I like it! Right now they are practicing social distancing and allowing only one person in the lobby at a time with a second register at the back for ordering once you've been seated out back. There are so many good options available in this tiny footprint of space right off the main drag in Bothell. I look forward to future visits to this neat spot!

A small taproom with a good collection of beers. Staff here is very friendly and nice. The outdoor seating are good for people watching and fresh air. It's right at downtown Bothell so a good spot to hang out with people if you're around the area

For the love of craft beers, growlers, and your pooch. A night out in Bothell with your friends doesn't mean that your beloved canine companion will have to stay behind. Hop and Hound, located in downtown Bothell and just off SR522 is a dog friendly hop shop. They specialize in craft beers and growlers. In fact, you can even download their app on iTunes and Google Play to see what's on tap. For our first visit, I decided to try the Dragon Fruit cider. It was not too sweet or dry and perfectly solidified my decision to visit this shop again. I recommend checking out the hall of dog wall. You can even post your own picture with your canine companion. Check out the small selections of dog treats located by the counter. Though they don't have food on their menu board, there is a schedule of food trucks available on their website. This is definitely a good find and recommended for anyone who loves craft beers or dog lovers and owners alike.

Super small inside but the COVERED PATIO is awesome! Very welcoming to my furbaby... 14+ beers on tap and a stocked, self-serve fridge! Definitely coming back for more adventures!!!

I would love to hang out with my friends, but I am diabetic and I rarely drink, and they don't offer any diet sodas or even water.

Excellent cherry cider. Excellent cherry cider. I had to type that twice, because Yelp wouldn't post it with only three words typed. LOL!

Ask the Community - The Hop and Hound

Are there heaters in the tent area? Thanks!

Hey Ryan. Yes! We have a couple heaters, a 55" TV and some new speakers jamming heavy rock tunes. Hope to see you soon. Cheers!

    Are kids allowed?

Hi Angela- We operate under a Tavern license and have to be 21 and over by law. We have a ton of great craft beers available in bottles and cans to go. Cheers!

I'm sorry I didn't get her name. I ordered a Rue Old Fashioned and it was perfectly blended and tasty. I wanted lite so ordered the Coronation salad and it was so good, just the right an out of chicken thighs grapes, cranberries and shaved almonds and the smooth curry dressing was so delicious. It was so perfect and I'll Definitely order it again. Then, I ordered the bread pudding to go. It came with a generous scoop of vanilla ice cream with some caramel sauce. However, the bread pudding itself was close to in edible. It must have been made weeks ago and was so dry it almost required a jackhammer to break apart. I was so disappointed and ended up throwing most of it out. This place is less than a block away and I've never had a bad meal there and I highly recommend it. But recommend passing on the bread pudding unless you want something to throw at an ICE agent. 2/2822026 -amendment-I stopped here again for lunch. There were two occupied tables and the rest of the place was empty except for staff. A server came by and said "I'll be right back with you". I waited 15 minutes and not one showed up. I won't go back changing my rating to -1

About 10 minutes from the Woodenville winery. As we stepped inside, a warm and enchanting ambiance wrapped around us, filled with the harmonious sounds of clinking glasses and plates that blended in perfect harmony. The heavenly aroma of freshly prepared food wafted through the air, teasing our senses and building excitement while the cozy decor instantly elevated our mood. With an exceptional selection of wine and drinks, plus captivating indoor and outdoor seating, it seemed every whim was thoughtfully catered to. Despite arriving at 1:00 to a lively crowd, we were seated promptly, thanks to the impeccable and exceptional service. Our server's remarkable attentiveness and expertise set the tone for a truly unforgettable meal, and another staff member exceeded our expectations, sharing delightful stories about all their special events, such as Happy Hour and Wine Wednesday, and inviting us back for dinner. She shared that the biscuits we inquired about were made in-house, a testament to the restaurant's pursuit of excellence. With customer service that inspires and leaves a lasting impression, we can't wait to return and relish the experience once more. I highly recommend the Biscuits and gravy, Eggs Benedict, or the Cottage Breakfast; all were truly spectacular! This place truly deserves a spot on your must-visit list, and I highly recommend it.

Loved loved loved the croissant french toast, my only recommendation to chef is to serve it with fresh/whipped cream instead of butter. Other than that, it was fantastic! The shoestring hash brown was so beautiful and intricately cooked, I didn't want to eat it coz it looked that pretty! The croissant sandwich was deliciously cooked! It was flaky and so nicely grilled! Loved how well done it was! The caprese sandwich was fantastic! The bread used was perfect, the Waldorf salad with it was was beautiful and tasty! Food & drink: (4/5) We got the Cajun tots to share with a side of ranch, which I think they make in-house. The tots were just the right amount of crunch and savory-ness. Exactly what I needed. To drink, I got the triPPPy cider and I really enjoyed it! The fruity notes aren't as strong in this one compared to other ciders I've had but it was still great. Finished it all. Service: (4/5) Super friendly. Just wish our food came a little faster. There weren't many people sitting in and our tator tots took maybe 30 mins. Other notes: Not exactly sure how the parking situation is still since we got there at 10:30pm in the pitch dark. We ended up at the parking lot next door and wandered over until we found it. It's a cool atmosphere, waitress was kind, service was alright, but the only thing that stood out was the surprisingly low quality of my food. I don't usually order a chicken tender meal, but theirs was located at the top of the menu and it had a buttered up description, so I gave it a try.... And then I regretted my decision as soon as I saw my plate. Frozen chicken tenders, dirty grease fries, and watery coleslaw. All for $25. It was unreasonable. It gave me more of a $8 Dairy Queen chicken basket vibe, but I don't want to diss Dairy Queen. I'll pay $25 for Queen before I return to McMenamins. Would love to see McMenamins take a step up on this so they can give their guests an experience more pleasant than mine.
