Great pizza pick-up spot! I love their version of a Hawaian pizza. The red onions make the flavor all the better! I need to branch out and try some other pizzas- someday. Not a dine in place, but there is a small table/booth for 2-4 small people. Worth the drive! read more

This is the first time we've ordered since the change in ownership, so we were skeptical. But no worries. They've kept up the quality of the original owners. We had the Supreme pizza.... Standard toppings. But the quality of them was where it's at. Ani e balance of sweet onions, green peppers, good quality pepperoni, and mild sausage. The sauce was balanced well. Not too much, or too little. The crust though.... It's light and crispy with a great texture. As I said in an earlier review, we have a 10 minutes drive home, and yet the crust popped when I bit into it. read more

Re-opened under new owners and initially we had a wonderful experience every time we've ordered since the original owners retired. However, tonight I had to repeat my very simple order (12" 5 meat w/pineapple, 12" black olive & green pepper) three times and when my husband arrived to pick up the order one of the pizza's was completely burnt, there was a worker walking around eating pizza, and another looking around like he wasn't sure how to make pizza. As I am writing this review my husband just arrived home with 2 incorrect pizzas (one partial meat no pineapple burnt pizza and 1 cheese partially burnt pizza) I think the new owners (who seemed wonderful when we met them previously) need to do some re-training or re-hiring if they want to maintain the business reputation Hornet's Nest has built and not lose their customer base. We are extremely disappointed with this recent experience, especially using tonight's order as our cheat meal and really looking forward to it, and we have heard that others have experienced the same burnt, incorrect orders within the past week :( UPDATE: after sitting on hold for over 4mins it was faster to drive over to explain the issue (we live 3mins away) Owner came out and re-made both pizzas correctly and explained it was all new staff. Unlike what the page says, this restaurant is not closed. It's been open for about five months under new management, according to the new owner. We tried this place for the first time last night. I had a bunch of family over and thought it would be nice to try something new. I am glad I did. The pizza was very good. The crust was quite crispy - crispier than any crust I've ever had. We definitely ordered too much pizza because there was a ton of leftovers, but everyone was stuffed and said the pizza really hit the spot, which is the best kind of praise. This was the first time we ordered from here, not a good first impression. I personally probably will not order again. My husband thought it was ok? I ordered a pizza, xtra cheese, pep and banana peppers. The pizza definitely was not xtra cheese comparedto the photos in seen on the web, it also needed more sauce, pretty dry and for a thin crust, the dough was chewy. I figured the garlic bread would come with a pizza dipping sauce but it did not. They also forgot to send my 2 liter with my food. It wasn't the worst I've ever had but not great enough to order again. The pictures honestly give it more justice than the flavor. read more

We got a large half cheese half pepperoni, small half tomato/onion and half green olive/onion plus cheese garlic bread. The pizza has a thin crust and the toppings are under the cheese. Our family has ordered a couple of pizzas here under the new ownership. Best times the pie was cooked perfectly and we were really impressed with how nice and welcoming the staff is. They have alternate menu items like wings and sandwiches so definitely pick up a to go menu so that we all can't keep these guys and successful business! read more

We live nearby in Blacklick, read some people raving on Nextdoor. They are right, the food is great! We had a 12" Italian sub, with banana peppers ( you have to ask for them) with a pickle and chips. The sub was great! Plenty of meat, lettuce onions, all the "usual suspects". We are probably going to be regular customers. Highly recommend!!! read more

Definitely the best Mom and Pop place in Pataskala. They have very limited seating inside, so mostly it is a carry-out place. The food is pretty good. They have Strombolis, Pizza, salads and the usual stuff. Their menu is online and you can print out a coupon to save some money. read more
