The epitome of a small town pizza shop. This is the best way to describe Mama Linda' s Pizza. Despite there being a long line of to go orders standing in front of us, we were greeted with a smile and told to sit anywhere we like. There was a constant stream of people picking up their orders which was a good sign. And we were not disappointed. The food: The pizza: A large all the way. The crust, the crust, the crust!!! It was crisp on the outside, yet fluffy on the inside, you could taste the yeast used to make it. Easily the best crust I've had in a while for my taste. The sauce was unremarkable... probably because we had already eaten the breadsticks... the vegetables were fresh and there were plenty without overwhelming the pie, the sausage was terrific, and the pepperoni was cupped. The cheese! I love a cheesy pizza, and this hit the mark! You had to cut the string when you picked up your slice. All in all, a well balanced pie which hit all the right notes. The Cheesy Breadsticks: soft, buttery, with a hint of garlic, smothered in cheese. (We may have had a personal moment with them.) Served with a ragu that was simple, yet with a garlic undertone that was well balanced. Terrific! Summary: The staff is friendly. The food is five stars for a small town pie. I highly recommend this place if you're in the area. One issue is the seating area. It is clean. But, it needs some TLC applied to it. There are plaques on the wall for best pizza from the early 2000's. My guess is that the paint on the wall beneath them was in place when they were hung. As the walls and carpeting are well worn. A thousand dollars in paint and carpeting would really help. Our initial thought was if this is how the dining room looks, what is the kitchen like? The saving grace was we could see into it and could see that it was old but clean too. 5 stars for the food. Ding 1 star for the ambiance. We will be back! read more

Last minute decision to order .. wish I had not. The sauce has NO taste the only thing I could taste was the salt I added. The crust taste like it's pre-made. It's just dough flavor. No crisp. Delicious pizza. The crust is thick and chewy; we are a thin and crispy family. We really enjoyed this pizza. We got the kitchen sink pizza. The ingredients were good. The pizza held up for the ride home. We get extra cheese on our pizza; we could see the extra cheese. I got a small salad, we was good. Lettuce was crisp and the pep, cheese, pepper, and tomato were all fresh. We didn't try any pasta, based on the pizza we probably will try it. Really friendly services I ordered the Hawaiian pizza and with mushroom as an additional topping. The crush is really thin and crunchy. The pineapple is fresh and sweet. The almonds seem like a unique addition to the pizza that I haven't seen anywhere else. However, the taste didn't impress me much but maybe my taste buds were off since I'm sick. I'm giving 4 stars in an average between my wife (5 stars) and I (3 stars). In my opinion, the pizzas are far too doughy. However, the cliche that when pizza is bad it's still good applies here. That's not to say the pizza is bad, but it just doesn't stand out to me among other places that I've tried. My wife on the other hand absolutely loves the pizza here and it's one of her favorites. I will say as well that the staff is very friendly and polite and that always wins points with me. I don't know that I'll eat her more than a few times a year but it's certainly worth stopping in and giving a try. read more

Move to Pataskala and this was one of the first pizza places we tried and it did not disappoint. One of the things I noticed about this pizza joint was you do not need to ask for extra cheese it is loaded on its own. I also like the crust it's not too thin or too thick it's just right there in the middle and crunchy. The only tiny comment would be if you go cheese only runs a little bland. But when we order pepperoni or sausage thete is lots of flavor. This is a solid, consistent, delicious pizza with really friendly customer service. read more

First time ordering and was not disappointed. The "All The Way" pizza very delicious; lots of fresh toppings and the crust is between thin and thick. "Pepperoni and Cheese" pizza was good, but the pepperoni's were a bit small. "Mama's White" is a tasty, greasy garlic delight, but overshadows the mozzarella and provolone cheeses. Excellent local sub house, never actually had the pizza. Can tell you the philly is excellent and very inexpensive. Great manicotti $8 w/ salad & garlic bread, and they do deliver though typically close to an hour so 20 minute pickup is much more reasonable sometimes. read more

I hate "Ohio Style" pizza with the cracker crust and bland sauce, and burnt and charred toppings. Mama Linda's is a nice change of pace, with a thicker more chewy crust and toppings that aren't burnt to a crisp. This is a good pizza, not my favorite, but really good. We are out in the unincorporated areas and they still delivered, which is nice. Probably will be my go to on pizza delivery night going forward. read more

Have been enjoying the food here for a couple of years. However I have notice the customer service and the quality of the food has slowly lowering. Last night will be the last time. Order was not ready. What was promise in 20-25 minutes was ready in 50. My wife waited inside and all she got was It's almost ready. Once we got the pizza home. The crust was white. Not toasty brown. We tried to eat it anyway but to undercooked. Doughy. My wife notice how dirty it was in the restaurant. She made a comment that if she didn't have to stand around and wait she probably wouldn't had notice. But since she did that did it in for her. The undercooked pizza and the runs the next day was the clincher. Goodbye mama! read more

I was in the area and used yelp reviews to decide what pizza I wanted to try and this place was ranked the best. Delivery woman was very nice, pizza arrived hot. I think the total star rating is a little bias. The pizza wasn't bad but it was nothing I would recommend or eat again. It wasn't bad just very bland. The sauce tasted more like plain tomato paste than pizza sauce. I expected better because of the yelp reviews, but I wasn't terribly disapointed either. If its your first time in this town like me, I'd try somewhere else. read more

Like it would be if your grandmother made pizzas instead of cookies :) You can order it delivered after 4pm, or you can come inside and eat at one of the vintage-feel tables covered by red and white tablecloths. Not only were they willing to deliver a couple minutes after their cutoff but they were here well before their promised time. The woman on the phone was extremely nice and accommodating as was the delivery woman. Hands down my favorite Pataskala pizza! The meatballs & cheesy bread are delicious too.

I think their pizzas are a bit on the expensive side, but as far as taste goes, I think they are one of the best-tasting (depends on the toppings) pizzas in the area. I have tried their lasagna (it was ok) and the manicotti (very good). *However, I must point out that (since I grew up in NY) that what they call manicotti is really "stuffed shells" :-) Since the stuffed shells taste so good, I don't mind this mistake too much. I also have tried the spaghetti & meatballs which was also pretty good, but I thought the portion (for myself) was a bit small. The salads that come with the pasta dishes are quite good. Finally the garlic bread is decent and very buttery, but not as good as I would expect. read more

Their pizza is amazing. I lived in Columbus and we loved Romeos pizza. Seriously Romeos can't hold a candle to Mama Linda's. Their pizza is amazing as well as their breadsticks and salad and wings. They give military discount and are very friendly. I cannot say enough good things about them. Also, they are totally NOT overpriced. If you get a medium pizza and a personal (9 inch not 6) it comes to maybe $20. You can't get a medium pizza Hut pizza for that price. So for people to think it's on the pricy side.....not so.
