Food: ordered the original poondawg, jalapeno bomber, not so chi dog, and the pizza dawg. My favorite was the pizza dawg, and my husband loved the original poondawg and the not so chi dawg. I felt the jalapeno bomber would have more of a cream cheese taste being there was supposed to be a house cream cheese blend but it was heavy on the jalapeño mustard and no hint of cream cheese. Wasn't what I was expecting, but still ate it all lol! Luckily we didn't get the soggy buns. Thank goodness! Service was great. Friendly staff member behind the ordering counter. Ugh I wanted to like this place sooo bad! I was craving a hotdog and found this place. Saw the reviews and decided to give it a try. I got a hotdog and and order of the frito pie just to try. The frito pie wasn't bad, decent at most. But what threw me off was that the guy who made my order microwaved the hotdog! It gave the dog this weird consistency that I didn't like. I unfortunately only ate one bite of the hotdog and maybe half the frito pie and tossed the rest. I probably won't be back, even though I'm usually very optimistic and give places second chances as I know we all have off days. read more

I ordered the Mita Mita combo, which comes with two hotdogs, chips and drink. For the hotdogs, I had the Brooklyn and the Texas Classic. The biggest gripe I had was the bun was soggy on my Texas Classic. They didn't use a special bun or sausage, so it was kind of a disappointment. It's so close by me, figured I give it a try. First off small parking lot but no worries past those gates that looks to be a storage, has more spots ahead. Second walking in a nice little cozy space, not much room and no seating inside. But there is two small tables out side if their not taken. Third you're asked how many hotdogs will you be ordering just so they can warm them up while you decide how you like your hotdogs. Yesterday was our first time visiting this restaurant. At first glance it's northing to write home about. It had no interior or exterior seating. This was fine for us it was a beautiful day so we sat on our truck bed to eat. The owner was very cordial when we walked in explaining the menu and where he came from as well as the hotdogs. The hotdogs had that amazing snap you would look for in a good all beef hotdog. He had a good selectIon of topping for all of his dogs. The pricing was also amazing. I would defiantly recommend this place for a "snappy" hotdog. The only questionable thing I have is the logo of the store. Then again my brain defiantly lives off the curb.
