This is our hella last minute go-to when we don't want to travel or just want to catch last call. I personally don't like hanging out so close to home, i like escaping the city and changing the air and atmosphere. I'm a beer guy so I most def found it funny that beer on Draft or bottle are the same price. That doesn't make sense, but whatever i just go with draft. The place is small and dimmy but does the job. Def bring a +1 to stay entertained. Goodluck chit chatting though, they always have the music on so LOUD. I really don't get the hype nor like places with excessively loud music. It's so loud that even the bartenders can't hear a word your saying. It gets annoying having to repeat yourself and yell back. The pool tables are what really draw me back. I'm always able to catch a game, however some ppl do hog them and/or chit-chat instead of playing. I do like that they have several security guards, that does make me feel safe! Thank you. For the most part, I havent had any issues there or have seen anything pop off. But as someone else mentioned, the local are pretty cocky and snobby so just try to mind your own. Parking isn't the biggest but we always seem to get a spot. I have yet to find another bar in the area that is worth going to. Came here since we live in South Gate, wanted to support local businesses. I asked the bartender if it was a stocked bar, bar tender replied with a cocky attitude "Yes, we are!" So my wife proceeded and asked for a lemon drop martini with a sugar rim (simple drink), they didn't have sugar for the rim I ordered a ranch water (if you know you know), drinks where 6/10 (not bad). The 2 things that really did it for me not to come back was #1 the trap music, and #2 the usuals had an attitude and not welcoming. Overall it's a cool place if you like beer, pool, and highly recommend that you come with someone for great conversation because the usuals will not be friendly. read more

Came for the first time today and I have no complaints. The bartenders were all VERY accommodating even though it was busy for a Saturday night. Their cocktails are all delicious, whichever one you try it will be great. Their beer on tap is actually quite great as well, nothing what I expected. If anything it exceeded my expectations. Certain bartenders here are a lot better than others. One drink would be okay and other one would be amazing. The bar is clean and neat and has a gothic feel to it. I would recommend you guys reconsider coming here. The bartender with the face tattoos, & short hair is trash. Very unprofessional, drinking while she's serving, and takes FOREVER to serve a drink. She's go to the back and get on her phone, text away while the other bartender was on her shit. You'll wait longer in line to get a drink than to enjoy your time there. Very handsome too. The drinks are very well made. No need for a bat menu when the bar tenders can mix something up based on your taste. So being the huge GOT fans that I am, this place was a must to cross off my list. It was shocking when I learned that this bar even existed and in South Gate of all places! So the bar has a huge open space right when you walk in which was interesting because that portion of it seems rather empty, perhaps so people can dance when the DJ is playing which nobody was. Getting to the music portion of my experience, I must say that if you're going to be running a GOT bar you MUST change the music if you really want this bar to be successful. I actually anticipated Irish Folk Rock to be playing or some type of beautiful instrumental music to fit the aesthetic but sadly this was not the case. It's mainly Top 40 and modern Hip Hop throughout the night which I didn't really understand. It sort of takes you out of the element and makes you feel like you're just at some random dive bar. Unfortunately, not too many local DJ's even have that type of music in their library or have even heard it before so I suppose that can get a pass. Now when it comes to drinks I thought this was interesting, they have a few GOT inspired drinks which I thought was fun but they are a tad bit over priced. I tried: White Walker. 5/10 (Had a weird smell) The Hound Old Fashion. 7/10 (Most expensive, it was just okay) Milk Of The Poppy. 8/10 (But it is served in a wine glass and made me feel strange holding it) Lastly the bar tender was very nice however she was there alone for a long time until another one showed up later so it slowed the service down tremendously. Also side note there's really only painting's in reference to GOT and their out door main sign. Nothing else inside is really GOT inspired aside from their drink names. Also also, what happened to Tyrion Lannister inside the men's room??? I wanted to see that but it was gone. Can't have nothing nice in LA anymore. Psh read more
