Food was amazing, beer was delicious and the service was great! Visited Brown Soul Brewing one Saturday night with a young child and a toddler. I wasn't sure about bringing children to a brewery but the staff was accommodating and so nice to my kids. The ambiance was lovely and we had a great time. I want to go back and try their brunch menu.

I forgot the name but I asked for something similar to a blue moon. It was pretty good!

Really enjoyed my time here. The ambience is laid-back and comfortable, with sports playing on the projector and System of a Down in the background -- a surprisingly good combo. I ordered a taco and a beer, came out to about $20, and both were solid. The taco was plated nicely and tasted fresh, and the beer was cold and crisp. The whole place has a relaxed vibe that makes it great for a casual date or just hanging out. I'd definitely come back.

On LA Taco's recommendation we went to Brown Soul Brewing on our way to see Mana at the Forum. BSB did not disappoint. The space is lively and we found a high top table near the front. We ordered drinks and food at the front counter. I sampled the Quiero Maiz, a Mexican-style lager that is smooth and light. We shared the guacamole, topped with pepitas and micro greens with tostadas, so flavorful and creamy, ribeye burrito is full of meat and a bit of chorizo-beans, a big hit, the Mexican hot chicken sandwich was spicy and served on brioche bread, chicken wings were crispy and spicy and pizza was oven-baked with a toasty crust. The food was very delicious, our favorite was the sandwich and wings. Our server, Suzy was the BEST, super attentive, friendly, and helpful. She brought us extra hot sauce that paired nicely with the pizza. Although we do not live nearby, we vouched to return for the excellent food, service, and sample other beers as they were out of a couple we wanted to try. But we'll be back.

I won't lie, I went for the pizza they offer on Mondays and Wednesdays. It was very surprising on how packed it got on a Monday and not many were there for the game. Good crowd overall. The beer choices were ok nothing I had really stood out. But the food was really good. Had the pizza and it was amazing for a good price too. Then tried the chicken sandwich I liked it, but I personally thought it was a tad bland and I didn't like the bread. You can tell they take pride in the kitchen and that alone has me going back and trying the rest of the menu.

When I ordered tacos de papa, I wasn't expecting this. Anyone else ever have tacos de papa like this?? Serious question by the way.

The tacos de papa tho lmaooo. Seriously, has anyone ever had a taco de actual f'n papa like this??!. The beer is great tho!

BS is my very favorite place and much better that's is so close to my home I love the variety of beers "Always fresh" and the food is very good quality and delicious, prices very decent and now every other Thursday they have Comedy show and of course Great service! Great ambience you won't be disappointed in any way. Dora, Freddie, Omar and Ozzy Thank you for ALWAYS making me feel welcome and for the great service.

Came here for their brunch. Food was great. Beers were delicious. Steak and eggs had chimichurri which was amazing. The chilaquiles were perfect. They're nostalgic. What the menu needs is a huevo con weenie option lol. Either way come check this place out. Currently on my 3rd round and waiting on the next one as I write this review. Good times. Edit to this review: susy kicked us out and moved us to another table. The audacity!...i don't know why the laughing emoji won't post but i was joking about susy. She was the best

I've think I've been here enough times now to be able to leave another review - it took a lil while but hey redemption is real! I came here at least 3 times before I left the review the first time and I still stand by how bad it was back then - because in the moment it was bad. I avoided this place like the plague after that. I was invited out quite often but after the bad experience I didn't wanna try again - till I did. Due to the wildfires some time back we got to leave work early and with the sudden free time we came down to check it out on a whim since it's local. To our surprise it was trivia night - the first night of it actually. We arrived a little late but we still got to play along. The game host was so fun and it was actually really entertaining (although a bit confusing and difficult to get the hang of at first). We ended up placing 3rd that night - good stuff. Even won a wine bottle! We tried the guacamole, chicken sandwich and the ribeye taco that night. For drinks we had the Juguito, No Wey Góse, Quiero Maíz, Lemonade Radler and House Sangria. Everything was yummy, taco was so delish! The quality of the food, drinks and entertainment that night was such a pleasant turnaround from my previous not so great experiences. I was truly taken back, but glad I gave it another try. It made me wanna give this place another try but with intention, so I went out of my way to come back even when there weren't events. It was pleasant and the food hit the spot. Time has since passed and I've been here more times than I can keep track of. My run club meets here on Weds so I'm here at least once a month. Brown Soul has social events (comedy night, trivia night & live music) that they post about pretty regularly on their socials. It's def worth a try, and if the first try isn't great - it's worth another. Respectfully.

This place has a nice open space setting that allows you to see what's going on in the kitchen as well as behind the bar. I enjoyed their Pilsner and Fish Taco. Next time, I'd ask for a wedge of lemon, but overall, a pleasant experience. Looking forward to returning to try other items off their food menu. Also, I tried their French fries and those were scrumptious! They are a thicker, warmer, and crispier version of In N out fries.

While visiting Los Angeles from Florida, My brother last minute invited me to this brewery for a comedy show and it was absolutely amazing. I had such a great time. The food was very well presented and tasty! I highly recommend the ceviche and ribeye burrito! I'm not a beer drinker but my brother claims it's very well crafted. The seating was opened, service was quick and efficient. With the show, food, and crowd the ambiance absolutely exceed d my expectations! Will 100% return!

Finally got to try this brewery. Welcomed with a big smile from the beer tender. I enjoyed my Northern Insurrection IPA and my neice loved her Quiero Maiz. Ordered the ceviche which was fresh and flavored, served with a green salsa and crispy tostado shells . Not in my stamping area but I will definitely be back!

"The food is delicious, the service is great, and the beer is definitely on point. The ambiance is nice and inviting, but I felt it lacked a bit in decor--especially considering the strong name 'Brown Soul,' which represents such a rich culture. A little more attention to the atmosphere could really elevate the overall experience. For that reason, I didn't give it 5 stars."

Ask the Community - Brown Soul Brewing

Hello. Are kids allowed during your brunch? Also do you take reservations? Thank you

Yes, the entire family is welcomed for brunch. No reservations needed unless it’s a large party of 10 or more people. We look forward to seeing you.

    Dog friendly environment?

No, not at all. In fact, some of the reviews state they're even hard on folks with service animals. It's also very tight in there and not much room for a dog to sit or lay comfortably.

I get it's a brewery but is it kid friendly?

Yes but I think on weekends after 7 no kids are allowed.

    Do they accept Apple Pay?

    Yes they do.

It took her a whole 10-15 minutes to bring my card back at that point I didn't feel comfortable her having it. We went out side to get fresh air , my friends and I where about to leave when my friend and I wanted a michi (yes around 1:20 they we're kicking people out to close) FOR 2 michelada's it was $29.84 Fast forward again another girl Brianna C. Took our order & took a while to come back. MIND YOU , we could have walked right out since she brought our drinks FIRST and took a while to come back with her scanner to charge us , but we didn't do that , we waited to be charged. The following day 12/13 (MY BIRTHDAY) I checked my bank account and was falsely charged $145.73 on a tab that is not mine ! & trust me I HAVE MONEY. So for them to try and charge a tab that is NOT mine is ridiculous and are definitely taking advantage of people thinking they are under the influence. This business is all scams. I called my bank and they re reimbursed me BUT this bar wants to say other wise because they used my card reader to close out my tab. Today 01/03/2026 I spoke to an on duty manager name WALTER, let him know of this ordeal took my information down and was supposedly going to pass it on to the manager Catherine , it's been two days and haven't heard anything since. He claimed to not have working cameras btw. But they need to have records of my signature and documentation on my receipts to the transactions that I did have. Be mindful & don't come here !! **Ps the time stamps on the picture are delayed because it takes 24hrs to go through , through credit union .

This place exceeds all my expectations... It's pretty loud in here at times. The place would be considered lively. New York Steak is killer good. 12oz steak with a vegetable medley and Mash Potatoes and gravy. The steak is very high grade (what what what?!) and the entire meal is $23.... Compare this to a combo at Wendy's for $16 lol. Steak here tends to overcook a level so ask for the level below. Juicy, great texture, excellent flavor, and grill lines! Sampler Has everything needed to satisfy all appetites! Wings are on the larger size, crispy, juicy in the inside, and well seasoned. Guacamole is fresh made and they fry their own chips which is unique. I always switch out the Jalapeño sticks with sweet potato fries or more mozzarella sticks. The mozzarella sticks come with an excellent marinara sauce. The bread bowl is a full miss for me. There is probably three tablespoons of soup in it and the entire bread is about the size of a large muffin at Costco and so overpriced that Disneyland's is a much better value. The casino basically has 4 concept restaurant with their own kitchens but you can basically order from any of them and robots will drive them over to you or a server will go pick it up and bring it to you and put it on one tab. The current ones are Pho (Vietnamese), Sora (Sushi/sashimi/hand rolls), Luyixian (China/Taiwan inspired Chinese food), and here American grill. I ordered Sora's Nigiri set for $45 on one of visits and while the sushi was incredibly fresh it is really not worth it. Not enough sushi and too much filler like edamame. French fries here sometimes gets subbed with normal fries but they generally always have sweet potato fries, and some of best seasoned fries all around. Their fries as on is cheaper than Mcdonald's small fries. When you come in just find a table and sit down and someone will come to you with menus and such. Service here is incredibly good. Shout outs to Sarah, Iris, Victoria, Miguel, and Christian. You all make our visits like a mini vacation and we have such a great time. Never thought eating at a casino would be so much fun. There is so much other food to try. Will be back to try it all soon! Trust me this place is that good!

Couldn't believe what I saw on both Yelp and Apple Maps, 4.8 stars and over 100+ reviews and this spot is in Compton, my city. Didn't even know a spot like this existed. Busted a u-turn going down Alondra so I could go back to Atlantic then make that right and slide to Compton Blvd and make that left. A few streets from there on your right side you'll find boulevard gastropub. Sitting next door to some other business which is right next to a big parking lot which is free by the way. I've parked in this lot at least a couple of times just to go to that taco truck and never noticed gastropub. Immediately when I walked in it was good vibes and the sense of a good atmosphere. I was greeted by the owner and a young lady who was the bartender. The owner is real cool. We had a short conversation I shared with him how I discovered his business and informed him I do reviews as well as post some content on my social media platforms in hopes of businesses receiving more attention and customers. Unfortunately, due to them not having an alcohol or liquor license, some of their drinks such as the cocktails are more so wine based drinks. So please don't come here expecting to get some Don Julio or Hennessy. Ain't gone happen lol. I had a Classic Mojito and enjoyed it. The price was $10 which I found exceptional. The food was delicious. I recommend the Blvd Burger as a go to if you can't decide on anything else. I loved it so much I had to make a video. And definitely try the Voodoo Wings. You won't be disappointed. Just imagine buffalo wings with lemon pepper seasoning. Cuz that's what it is and they're fire. No bs with the ranch dressing too. I'm definitely returning for another visit. I can see this being a new frequent spot to pull up to and hang out. I love the ambiance, my drink, the food here and the customer service.
