I have a soft spot for the human bean, the best seasonal drinks.. their service is always quick and that chocolate covered coffee bean you get along with your drink is the yummiest treat.

Came here last night to get a mocha and it was so good had to come back for a caramel latte the very next morning. (I got the chocolate coffee beans but I finished them so no picture for you) I'm from California so coming here and finding some good coffee was definitely a challenge, however not just the coffee was good but also the staff, so friendly and nice. The place is a walk up or a drive through, I really hope they can expand in the future and provide sit downs because this place is so beautiful.

I haven't had The Human Bean in many years and was delighted to see one was not far away from the lodge we were staying at for our vacation. I got a hot latte with four shots and my partner got the same thing but his was an iced latte. I was so happy to see that little chocolate covered espresso bean on top of my drink. It was such a nice treat before diving into my hot beverage. This place seriously makes enjoyable coffee. Tastes as amazing as I remember it! Service is friendly. Prices are more than reasonable.

Stopped by The Human Bean twice during our stay in Lincoln City - the first time after going out to lunch, and the second time before heading out to the airport in Portland. This place has two drive up windows and one walk up window. My first visit, I got myself a 32oz iced mocha (I needed that caffeine!), and my second visit I got myself a 12oz frozen hot chocolate. Both of these were equally good, but I think I liked the frozen hot chocolate better. My favorite part about The Human Bean is that they give you one or more coffee beans with your drink, depending on the size. Service during both visits were friendly and quick. I don't have to worry about missing this place because we have one back at home as well.

Look. We are all human, and most of us need coffee. When we need coffee, we search Yelp and go to the nearest coffee place that looks good. When I woke up in Lincoln City, Oregon and needed coffee, I found The Human Bean. It looked good. So I went there. I pulled into the drive thru, as it is drive thru only. I wanted iced coffee and so I said, "Do you have half and half?" They said yes. They. Said. Yes. So then I said "I would like your largest iced breve with 4 shots and some caramel." Then I paid and in a very short time was given a massive iced breve with enough caffeine in it to make me feel alive again. Additionally, there were a few chocolate espresso beans just sitting on top of the cup...which I ate...which were delicious and a nice touch that made me feel as though this place truly cared about my caffeine addiction. That's what I look for in a coffee shop. People who care about supplying me with an amount of caffeine sufficient to make me feel alive. The baristas were exceptionally friendly, and potentially hopped up on a bit of caffeine themselves, (no judgement). I wouldn't trust a bald barber, and I can't say that I've ever been comfortable with a lethargic barista. These were comfortingly energetic and quick with that breve. Really, they were friendly. My friend and I talked about it as we drove away. The friendliness was notable. It was noted. I'm noting it now. So overall it was a solid experience. I love it when a coffee shop has a drive thru. If this place were on a route that I routinely drove, I would routinely visit. Worth a stop if you're in the area for sure.

Great drive through option especially for tall vans like mine. The coffee is always smooth and served with a smile. Treats are pre packed so I skip those but did buy beans they custom ground for me.

Stopped here early morning. The line was short. Its a really cute little place, drive thru only. The customer service was great Really friendly. I got the 20 oz, Iced Salted Caramel Mocah, it was nice flavor, not too sweet, but just right. Nice experience overall.

While I can see the owner's point of view (maximizing profits, minimizing hassles, etc.), my view as a consumer is that, gosh, maybe customer service isn't your forte. In a sea of ticky-tacky stores in the Bayside section of Lincoln City, The Cyber Garden looks like a nice place to hangout. It is spacious and had a bit of an environmental 70s vibe going on when I visited. The two policies that bugged me... -- $2 charge for wi-fi -- no change smaller than a quarter for payment The first one just struck me as odd in this day and age. There are so many places where you get free wi-fi, it just seemed out of place. And the second is just silly. My coffee was fine and the best part of the experience was the name of my drink, the Johnny Cash. Their house blend with a shot of espresso. The problem was the rest of the experience left a bitter taste in my mouth.

As soon as I walk in, I smell the aroma of coffee and tea, hear the lovely music, and see the beautiful global decorations; and any stress instantly melts away. I order tea or coffee from the friendly and helpful staff, then go to the back garden area to listen to the bubbling fountain and feel completely at peace. I don't understand the bad reviews. Maybe it is because tourists just want to use the internet and get angry very easily for some reason... I think if you go in there and are grateful that the staff have made such a beautiful environment and that they put a lot of work into making your order, you will receive excellent service. Of course if you are impatient and rude, they may not be as happy to serve you. Just my opinion, after working at a store in town and seeing how some tourists treat local businesses. I know how rude people can be, and I still have to keep that smile on my face and say thank you! There is going to be a vegan/vegetarian restaurant coming to the building in the next couple weeks. I am an omnivore but very much look forward to trying some tasty treats there! I think the bottom line is this. If you want a relaxing experience in a gorgeous garden, go to Cyber Garden and have some tea that is carefully prepared and sweetly served. On the other hand if you are impatient and cranky and just want internet, I'd rather not have you in my favorite coffee shop, there are other places to get internet. This garden is incredibly special.

We ordered the sausage, egg, and cheese on a cheddar bagel and a smoked salmon cream cheese on a jalepeño cheddar bagel. The bagel's were fresh and soft. They must have been baked in house! The salmon cream cheese was packed full of salmon. The drinks were also exceptional. The vanilla chai latte was flavorful, but not too sweet. It was easy to tell that the chai was homemade. The Mayan mocha was possibly one of the best specialty coffees I have ever had. The chocolate was accented with a bit of cinnamon which rounded out the South American flavors of the drink. It was a warm day so I went for an iced coffee, however I think it could have been even better warm.

The first time I went, the store was closed after being open for only an hour and a half during a holiday weekend. The next time I was in town for memorial weekend, I set my alarm to get there even earlier, but they were closed an additional day. Luckily, the original attempt I had was somewhat fruitful. I peered sadly against the door. The owner came out and said he was sold out for the day. However, he beckoned me to come in and said he had a Boston creme pie and some donut holes left if I would like them. He said with pride that he handmakes the cream and hand grinds his own cinnamon. I asked him how much it would be. It ended up being nothing, it was on the house. The Boston creme pie was great. The vanilla custard was silky smooth. The dough was light and airy. The donut holes were warm and spicy with the cinnamon and nutmeg. They were very fresh and so pillowy soft. Overall, I can attest to the passion of the family members that have followed in their Grandma Hazel's footsteps.
