I'm staying in the Lincoln City area for 8 days the first week of June. While driving through the town I noticed this is a coffee town! So my goal was to try all the local coffee houses first and then move onto the other chain houses. My son and I loved the little drive thru coffee house! Very lovely little coffee stand, the girl working was very kind and made me an incredible iced americano (just what I needed for today). That iced americano lifted my spirits and resurrected me from my caffeine dependency blues. I also tried the black forest mocha, which had enough richness to balance out its sweetness. I appreciate there was a walk-up window, not every stand has one. Come here on your coastal adventure and be fulfilled. read more

A coffee shop that is a staple to the coast town of Lincoln City! It seems to have been here for many years and thrives so well, no wonder it stays open! With a great name like Lighthouse coffee I'm sure brings lots of tourist, too! This shop has a Drive thru, along with walk up window, and lots of drink choices for all ages! Some bakery items, too. The only downside is that you may be waiting in line for an extra few minutes if you come during prime time, but worth it! read more

Drinks! I am very critical of coffee places because I typically make my own every morning with ground espresso and a Moka pot. I even make my own flavor syrup. That's how much I appreciate a good coffee So while visiting Lincoln City for a couple of days I decided to give it a try on my way back home. This was an excellent cup of coffee! wonderful drive up place to get coffee, you can walk up as well but it was better for us to drive up. I got a hot maple flavored latte one day and it was tasty without being too overpowering. I have been to the Lighthouse Coffee twice this week since landing in Lincoln City. The barista was friendly and efficient. The breakfast sandwiches were very good, the bagel and cream cheese were both typical, the prices are normal, there is a rewards program, and my iced soy vanilla latte was perfect. We were given straws without asking, my bagel was packaged with a little cup of cream cheese and a knife, and we were given napkins. Woot woot! All good! read more

Stopped by Lighthouse Coffee while passing through Lincoln City and overall had a great experience! I ordered the Black Forest mocha and really enjoyed the flavor--it was rich and chocolatey without being overly sweet. Prices were comparable to what I'm used to in Los Angeles, which was a bit surprising but not unreasonable for a specialty drink. The drive-thru wasn't the fastest, but the staff was incredibly friendly, and I wasn't in a rush, so I didn't mind the wait. One small critique: they pulled the espresso shots directly into the plastic cups rather than using a shot glass and pouring it over the iced milk. That meant the drink was noticeably warm on the bottom, which isn't ideal for an iced latte. Not a dealbreaker, but something that stood out. I'd give this a one star, but I'm afraid it'll be deleted if I do. My mom and I waited for 30 minutes in this line. There's no way to get out if you wanted to, except to go through the line. My mom asked for her normal six shots of espresso in a 20 ounce and they gave her six shots of syrup instead.. so we waited 30 minutes for her coffee to be bad. The price was OK pretty standard, but they spent so much time talking to the people in the window. They weren't paying attention to anybody else. And it's not like we can get back in the line to get the coffee corrected because it'll take another 30 minutes. I would not recommend this place. read more

I'm not sure if we just came on a bad day or what, but we've been in the drive thru line for over 40 minutes. Once you pull into the drive thru there is no way to get out unless you're at the VERY end of the line. There are still 4 cars in front of us, and the cars behind us are trying to back onto the very busy main road to bail out. This is absolutely ridiculous. One of few coffee places less than a mile from the beach house we're currently staying in. Yes, I like Dutch Bros., but the Dutch Bros. here in LC is located in a terrible spot and I really didn't want to go back there. This is a darling little coffee stand that sits along highway 101 in Lincoln City. It looks like there's a walk-up window only and trying to find it and how it works was really confusing. Turns out, you have to park your car next to the window and you're able to exit out of the parking lot after you get your drink. Kind of a strange setup there. I didn't get the chance to look at their menu once we made it up to the window, so I had to get out of the car to look at it on the side of the building, since that was the only menu that they had (I think they should have had physical menus on hand, in my opinion). My boyfriend doesn't like anything coffee flavored, so I only had one for myself. I ordered a 16oz iced Milky Way mocha, which was delicious! Service was great and their prices can't be beat! We're here for a few more days and I think I want to come back again just for their Milky Way mocha! read more

Some of the worst mochas I've had. First day I ordered a butterfinger mocha and it tasted like weak coffee with bad flavor. Maybe they used their buttery fingers to give the coffee a stir?! Equally bad, they offer a 24oz iced drink and when I saw the container I thought it didn't look any bigger than a Venti from Starbucks. I took it home and measured it and guess what? It is 20 oz and not 24. This may or may not be their fault as it is printed 24oz on the bottom of the cup. Maybe these are misprinted cups they are using. Second day I thought I would go with a standard mocha, give them a second chance, and ordered it with extra chocolate to keep it simple. Tasted like watered down coffee with no chocolate. I thought maybe it wasn't mixed and the chocolate was at the bottom. I stirred it up and the drink tasted just as bad. How do you have so many options for mochas and not make a great mocha every time? I wanted my money back and should have turned around and asked for a remake. We were staying at a motel down the road and during one of our outings we decided to give this local stand a try instead of a chain. We ordered two lattes, both almond milk since she was out of oat. The boyfriend had a vanilla latte and I had an english toffee. They were both very quick to make, so that's where my worry started. They were served hot, not lukewarm, off to a good start. First sip, no foam on either latte, bummer. Not overly sweet was also another bonus. The coffee itself was pretty weak and in the end it just tasted as the almond milk had a splash of coffee and syrup. The gal running the stand was pleasant enough, but you could tell she was just going through the motions and no extra effort was made during the interaction. A lesser known fact about me is that I am absolutely in love with coffee kiosks across the West. On a road trip, I will literally order a mocha at one, drive two miles down to the next and get a pastry or, heck, another coffee! Out of the hundreds of huts I've driven through none are as fascinating in design as the Lighthouse Coffee Company! You can't miss this one guys. It's located right off Highway 101 travelling south. The building is absolutely adorable. I mean it's a lighthouse! It truly adds to the coastal ambiance. We stopped here on our way out of the coast. There was only one person ahead of us who ordered a ton of drinks and only one person was in. I ordered a 20 oz nonfat hot almond joy mocha ($5.50) and a classic breakfast burrito ($5.00). I originally wanted a veggie burrito but they were out. Oh, whale. No biggie, the burrito was fabulous as well the mocha! I'm pretty boring and stick to my usual nonfat vanilla latte. I guess I felt adventurous or whatever today. Honestly I have my suspicions whether the barista correctly made it nonfat because it tasted way to good to be so. I guess what you don't know doesn't count, right? You should definitely take the time to visit this adorable little one of a kind kiosk. I was wondering why the smoothies tasted like watered down orange juice, come to realize, there's barely any sugar in em. This has given me a solid new option really. Did I work really hard today and sweat off 50 pounds? I'll go to the human bean for a nice sugary smoothie. Did I barely lift a finger? I'll get a lighthouse smoothie and suddenly pretend like I can appreciate the nuances of raw ingredients. Again. They all taste like watered down orange juice. Here's my findings. Wildberry - NOPE. Do you like eating sand? Because there's a thousand little seeds in this smoothie. At least you'll be pooping better. Extremely bitter. Pineapple - Yup. Really surprising actually. Tastes a lot sweeter than the other ones come to think of it. Maybe this one has more sugar. Mango - ....sure. It's orange juice. I don't care what you tell me they put frozen oj in a blender. That's what it tastes like. Plus a gallon of water. Strawberry - ....fine. Better than mango. It ALSO tastes like orange juice but like, if they put 1 strawberry tic tac in there. Yeah. That's this smoothie. In conclusion the lighthouse smoothies aren't bad at all. Why? Because If I had the AMAZING smoothies from the human bean everyday I'd gain 500 pounds guys. Since October 2018 the lighthouse coffee stand has been price gouging me and been playing games with changing the prices on the window, and how they've removed the pieces from the window all together. Today is the highest I have paid yet! I just paid $6.75 for an extra large white mocha, which use to cost me $5.50. As this is a part of the ongoing harassment that I have been receiving throughout town after being publicly outed as transgender, resulting in stalking and other criminal acts against me, I have been reporting all price gouging to the appropriate authorities that can fine this business for price gouging. I go to this coffee stand out of convenience as a pedestrian, trying to run their errands and take care of regular business. read more

Stopped by for a late breakfast for the kiddos. Ordered the breakfast burritos, croissant sandwiches and cinnamon rolls. Everything was hot and delicious. Even my picky eater finished his whole burrito. Also got some cappuccinos and the kids liked those as well. The cinnamon rolls are AMAZING. In town over spring break during a time with economic difficulties during the covid-19 pandemic. Most businesses are hurting for any kind of customer they can possibly wrangle up. We pulled in to the drive through at 4:52 with one car in front of us. One of the two people inside came out and said "oh sorry we are closing up" there is no way to back out or pull forward to exit out of line so we sat there while they filled the order of apparently the last customer of the day. Another car pulled in behind us and again the guy came out of the building and told them that they were closing. It is at this time 4:56. They hand out the drinks to the vehicle in front of us and it pulls out. As we were pulling forward they shut the window on us to make very sure we understood that they will not be serving us. I am very glad this business is doing well enough that they can turn down two customers money before closing time, because I will never spend a dime of my hard earned money there. read more

In the age of Covid it is even more important that people stick to the standards of health in order to keep the rest of us healthy... I was shocked to see the other day two young ladies without masks on chatting away as they made drinks for other people. I couldn't let them make me a drink, which is a shame because I really like their coffee and ice cream mocha's.. The more I have been thinking about it, the angrier I felt. At the very least these ladies should've worn masks... Even if they haven't contracted Covid it's just the right thing to do right now. I understand that not everyone is taking this pandemic as serious as they could otherwise...
