Very lovely little coffee stand, the girl working was very kind and made me an incredible iced americano (just what I needed for today). That iced americano lifted my spirits and resurrected me from my caffeine dependency blues. I also tried the black forest mocha, which had enough richness to balance out its sweetness. I appreciate there was a walk-up window, not every stand has one. Come here on your coastal adventure and be fulfilled.

A coffee shop that is a staple to the coast town of Lincoln City! It seems to have been here for many years and thrives so well, no wonder it stays open! With a great name like Lighthouse coffee I'm sure brings lots of tourist, too! This shop has a Drive thru, along with walk up window, and lots of drink choices for all ages! Some bakery items, too. The only downside is that you may be waiting in line for an extra few minutes if you come during prime time, but worth it!

I have been to the Lighthouse Coffee twice this week since landing in Lincoln City. The barista was friendly and efficient. The breakfast sandwiches were very good, the bagel and cream cheese were both typical, the prices are normal, there is a rewards program, and my iced soy vanilla latte was perfect. We were given straws without asking, my bagel was packaged with a little cup of cream cheese and a knife, and we were given napkins. Woot woot! All good!

One of few coffee places less than a mile from the beach house we're currently staying in. Yes, I like Dutch Bros., but the Dutch Bros. here in LC is located in a terrible spot and I really didn't want to go back there. This is a darling little coffee stand that sits along highway 101 in Lincoln City. It looks like there's a walk-up window only and trying to find it and how it works was really confusing. Turns out, you have to park your car next to the window and you're able to exit out of the parking lot after you get your drink. Kind of a strange setup there. I didn't get the chance to look at their menu once we made it up to the window, so I had to get out of the car to look at it on the side of the building, since that was the only menu that they had (I think they should have had physical menus on hand, in my opinion). My boyfriend doesn't like anything coffee flavored, so I only had one for myself. I ordered a 16oz iced Milky Way mocha, which was delicious! Service was great and their prices can't be beat! We're here for a few more days and I think I want to come back again just for their Milky Way mocha!

Ordered a camel vanilla latte. Just as delicious as I was hoping for it to be thank you ! Will come again

A lesser known fact about me is that I am absolutely in love with coffee kiosks across the West. On a road trip, I will literally order a mocha at one, drive two miles down to the next and get a pastry or, heck, another coffee! Out of the hundreds of huts I've driven through none are as fascinating in design as the Lighthouse Coffee Company! You can't miss this one guys. It's located right off Highway 101 travelling south. The building is absolutely adorable. I mean it's a lighthouse! It truly adds to the coastal ambiance. We stopped here on our way out of the coast. There was only one person ahead of us who ordered a ton of drinks and only one person was in. I ordered a 20 oz nonfat hot almond joy mocha ($5.50) and a classic breakfast burrito ($5.00). I originally wanted a veggie burrito but they were out. Oh, whale. No biggie, the burrito was fabulous as well the mocha! I'm pretty boring and stick to my usual nonfat vanilla latte. I guess I felt adventurous or whatever today. Honestly I have my suspicions whether the barista correctly made it nonfat because it tasted way to good to be so. I guess what you don't know doesn't count, right? You should definitely take the time to visit this adorable little one of a kind kiosk. There are so many along the 101, however none really do stand out like this one does!

Good coffee. I think people are confusing burnt coffee beans with coffee flavor. This place uses appropriately roasted coffee. I enjoyed it.

Weekday visits generally occur in the…read moreafternoon following work, thus requiring a meal, but most of the time I want to be hanging out on the sand, not sitting in a restaurant. Thus, I've become pretty knowledgeable about the takeout options in the area, and there are several good ones, but my go to is a sandwich from Sea Gulp. On my first visit we arrived to find several other couples waiting on orders (it's clear this is where the locals go). It took some time to locate the order sheets as they are in a bin on a little table to the right as you walk in the front door, but it was empty. They utilize reusable sheets so had to clean some to get them ready for the next customers, just ask the cashier if you don't spot any. Anyways, once we placed our order it probably took 20 or so minutes for the sandwiches. Not too bad, but we were rarin' to get out to the beach, so it felt long! We did use the time to wander the store for other goodies and there is a lot to discover. Of course, they have the usual (and unusual!) snacks and drinks, but there are also games and souvenirs, and all sorts of supplies you might have forgotten you'd need for your beach day like towels, SPF, and toys. The employees were (and always are) very nice and once we got our sandwiches we headed right across the street (so convenient!) to D River parking and found a piece of driftwood on which to eat our dinner. I am not a particular lover of sandwiches, but theirs are darn good! My favorite is the Italian Sub with almost all the veggies, but I have tried the pastrami and turkey as well and liked them too. They've got a great variety of bread options and do breakfast sammies and burritos too. Now we just call and order about 15 minutes before we arrive and the timing works perfectly. For about $10 you get a fresh, big (honestly, I usually can't finish them) meal that will keep you satisfied and fueled for your sandy adventures. As they are so customizable it is a great way to get something everyone will be happy with. And since they are located in a convenience store you can pick up drinks, dessert, and or anything you might have forgotten. There is seating out front if you'd rather eat there. Oh, and they do have specials so make sure to check those out too.

Appearance - The vibe of this coffee shop was fun with local artist featured around the walls and beachy parifinalia scattered throughout. Taste - The bagels were amazing! We ordered the sausage, egg, and cheese on a cheddar bagel and a smoked salmon cream cheese on a jalepeño cheddar bagel. The bagel's were fresh and soft. They must have been baked in house! The salmon cream cheese was packed full of salmon. The drinks were also exceptional. The vanilla chai latte was flavorful, but not too sweet. It was easy to tell that the chai was homemade. The Mayan mocha was possibly one of the best specialty coffees I have ever had. The chocolate was accented with a bit of cinnamon which rounded out the South American flavors of the drink. It was a warm day so I went for an iced coffee, however I think it could have been even better warm.

As you drive up you cannot help to notice the red building with a classic Old Cafe sign off HWY 101. They have a unique story, the original Otis Cafe was located in the City of Otis in the 1920s, named after the Post masters nephew. They have ample parking in their own private lot, as you walk up to the building and the main entrance, they have outdoor seating. Key finding, depending the time you arrive you may be waiting a bit to get in, they seem to be very popular with good reason. Once inside you will notice a very open seating area, with various booths and table seating options. They make fresh bread, we could not resist we took home a loaf of homemade bread it was very tasty. The staff greet you as you walk in, it has a very friendly vibe, the staff cycle through the building repeatedly checking in with its customers throughout your visit. The food options are plentiful, also note their portions are huge. We finally decided on an Omelette with veggies and ham, with a side of bacon and German potatoes with wheat sourdough. We also ordered the French toast with Fruit, an egg, another huge portion of food ample for two or three. The food was served warm, to our options and extremely tasty. The bacon was huge, well cooked, the Omelette and potatoes were perfectly cooked, I really enjoyed the Omelette and bacon. We are still working through the French toast, we took 3/4 of it home with us. Some recommendations, review the menu, be ready to order they are fairly busy and turn tables quickly. Loved the chorizo scramble (they recommend the molasses bread but we weren't wild about it). The eggs Benedict ( southern style) had a large biscuit, sausage and egg. Heeping helping of hash browns. All good but could use more gravy as it got a bit dry. Would like the option of two over easy eggs which would bring a little more moisture to the dish.
