Just an FYI, because this place gets busy they request you limit your visit to 1.5 hours. Now the menu. It is vast and everything sounded so good. Between the pastries, the yummy drinks, and the menu items, I had a hard time picking. I went with a muffin and a latte. The blueberry lemon muffin was large and so tasty. I ordered a plain latte to get a baseline on the coffee making skills. It was pretty good. I'll have to try one of the seasonal drinks next time I go. This place is small. Tables are close together. I could hear everyone's business. So keep that in mind. I am going to return when I have a bit more time. Probably a bit earlier in the morning to make sure I can get a table.

Usually service this quick is a plus but I've never been to a coffee shop where I don't hear the grind of beans and the wait of the espresso pull. The shots must've been pre-pulled as the coffee has a burnt after taste and that's confirmed after 3 different occasions. Maybe that taste is hidden for the customers that are also eating breakfast.

I've been going to this location since it opened. Very nice people (especially the manager) and the coffee is the best. It's really nice to get a cup of coffee where the workers are truly pleasant people to and I don't feel like I'm back in grade school talking to some teeny bopper while Maria Cary is blasting in the background..... Human Bean is my Go To for coffee each morning. Their coffee and breakfast sandwiches are delicious and the staff is always friendly. They know my order by heart at this point. Stopped going here for awhile but wow so many things have changed. The sweetest barista helped me pick out the BEST drink this early AM! The coffee was so smooth and being greeted with a friendly face was so nice for a change. The cowboy was delicious and toasted all the way through. They hand you the kiosk for a tip, and the first button was 30%... I have never seen that be an option before. And then it was 20% and 18% I think... regardless I remember that the 30 threw me for a loop. It took about five minutes from payment to them taking the kiosk back and giving me my drink... Also, I know some places don't have straws with wrappers but they'll put the straw in and then hand me my drink. The woman helping me literally walked to the window, fingers on the tip of the straw and handed me the drink after putting it in. I'm awkward and wouldn't ever say anything but I thought that was disgusting. Egg bites were like mushy and tasted like burnt cheese, though they looked normal so it's how they're made. And the caramel slush was chemical tasting? No coffee flavor and no caramel flavor. I won't be back, I'll stick to my usual spot.
