Came here for dessert options after having pizza. Only the dessert, veggie, soup menu was posted on the wall and there was a floor sign with some food menu options. Looks like you had to ask for an actual physical menu based off another customer - not sure what was on there. Sat outside under the shaded bench area to eat our dessert. We ordered a lava cake, blueberry cobbler with a local vanilla gelato, and a cinnamon roll. None of them were exemplary. If I had to pick which was the best one, maybe the blueberry cobbler. Lava cake should not have been called a lava cake, it was just basically a soft chocolate cake, which still didn't taste that good. Disappointing. The vanilla gelato was low quality. Cinnamon roll was also low quality, did not hit the spot. Wouldn't come back here for dessert. read more

My sis and I were excited to try this place based on reviews. I was optimistic. I ordered a grilled cheese with applesauce for my daughter, a cheeseburger with applesauce for my son, and then decided to try the burger special for myself which was a Cajun Bleu Cheese burger and a side which I chose pasta salad. When our food arrived I was confused. My burger was kinda plain looking. It only came with a little bleu cheese and then the weird part...wilted spinach and nothing else. I asked the waitress " Not to sound weird or anything, but what is the Cajun part of this?" She said, "It's the seasoning." There was literally nothing on the burger for a sauce or anything extra. The burger didn't taste Cajun, it was seasoned though. I ate it because I was starving. The kids didn't have any complaints, beside my sons burger was really pink inside. He just ate around it. My sister got the loaded baked potato, she said it was good although,it didn't have butter in it and had to request it and it was a little dry. My niece ordered a grilled cheese with oranges. It came with one orange peeled and one not peeled. The waitress told her she didn't have time to peel the other orange. I thought that was odd. After all was said and done the food wasn't horrible, just odd. The part that really got me was my total came to $28 and then I added a tip. When I looked at the receipt, I noticed I had a charge of $6.38 for two veggies. When I asked them about it she said it was the apple sauce I got for my kids. It was literally two pre packaged cups of applesauce. I couldnt believe how much I was charged for that! I have friends that own restaurants and understand today's economy. But I really felt that was a bit much. The ambience is small and simple, they are a clean facility. 94 sanitation score. Ac was working overtime though. Was set at 70 and it was 82 in the restaurant. I know it was a hot 90 degree day. No hard feelings about this place, I was just underwhelmed,sweaty and overcharged. read more

This place is great! I mean extremely. I have loved everything that I have eaten but I have to say that the dessert is 100%. It is homemade vanilla ice cream and homemade brownies, cobbler and cinnamon rolls from scratch. It's amazing! They have a drive-thru as well! I was really looking forward to trying the lemon chicken dish with orzo. The chicken breast was very dry, probably because it was pouded so thin and overcooked It was supposed to have spinach in it or on it. It had maybe one baby leaf of spinach. The orzo was nicely cooked but lacking flavor. I was a little disappointed because it sounded so good in the description before I ordered it. It wasn't bad. My new favorite lunch spot when traveling on I-85. Fresh, healthy ingredients. I ordered the BLT with a fresh Mediterranean salad on the side. The vegetables in the salad were so fresh and crisp. Adorable spot. Found this based on previous reviews. Simple interior, small with just a few tables. It seems like you'd order at the counter but there is a server so you do get table service. Ordered the gumbo and BLT. Gumbo bowl was massive and had great taste. I do wish there was a starch in it though, definitely needed some rice to make it more hearty, still had a great taste though. BLT was cooked perfectly with nice thick bacon. Server was very attentive, refilling my water continuously. I'll def go back and recommend it to others! read more

This was a cozy welcoming place for me. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I enjoyed a very Crab'by Crab Cake lunch. The crab cake was full of fresh crab and the flavor of that crab shone beautifully through the cakes. My asparagus was cooked exactly hoe I like it. Portions were somewhat small. We just had a delightful lunch full of fresh local ingredients! Two delicious salads and a fried chicken Monday special with flavorful sauce with a touch of honey. Absolute sleeper here!! I never knew about this gourmet gem until my neighbor told me about it! I was shocked at how delicious my drive through was. Shrimp and grits were totally awesome. What a great find! The couple that owns the plane were super attentive. Offered us a large bowl of hot water so we could heat up our grandsons bottle and we're just overall lovely! Not to mention the food! If you're tired of eating fast food, preservative filled garbage and are craving something homemade and REAL FOOD,I highly recommend this place. It does have a drive through but I would look at the menu and call ahead so that it's ready when you get there. But even if you don't do that, I think they were pretty quick with our food. Stopped by for lunch today with my mom. We both had the chicken corn chowder which was excellent! It was delicious and hit the spot-exactly what I have been craving during this cold weather. The soup was a much larger portion than soups at other places. I also had the loaded bake potato with brisket which was very good. Food and service was top notch and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Found strong positive reviews online as this looked like a new restaurant and wanted to check out a menu that looked like it would be from your home kitchen! I was impressed with the menu selection of the variety of meals each day and overall quality of meals. The restaurant owner was very friendly and food came out quick. Absolutely delicious and definitely tasted like home. Would definitely recommend for sure. So good and quality wholesome food. Good flavors a bit spicy on the avocado and could tone it down a little bit but good punch and unique twist. Can't wait to try more of the soups- best around and homemade. Homemade ice cream was a local touch, somewhat normal flavor is but still delicious!! I stopped by on a Friday around 5pm. I had read the reviews and was really looking forward to giving this place a shot. However I ordered the bacon kale hash, worst thing in the world..... I watched the cook aka "chef" NOT!!! He put the kale on the flat top then poured old bacon grease on them. The kale was still like uncooked warm idk. On top of that he didn't wash his hands.....
