I went with my son to the Ice Cream Bar. First because some ass hat gave them a 4 star review over LGBTQ+ business and I felt that was very unfair so I went to give a fair review. We LOVED it there! Yes this bar has a rainbow banner! It is not like you think. We love rainbows. Keep it up. Anyways, back to what really matters! The ice cream, drinks and service!! Ice cream floats ON POINT! My son drank that down in a few minutes! He loved it!!!! I was going to get the flight, but saw they served wine... like yes... wine tooo!!!! Omg I got a Rosé! They also serve dairy free ice cream! They have two fridges with other assortments of ice cream! Beautiful mountain paintings on the wall and a kids play area with games in the back! What more can you ask for!? Service was amazing, I believe her name was Emily? She is to die for, her service was the best and she is so fun to talk to! She makes that place feel like home away from home! I cannot believe I just found this place. Beer for me, ice cream and a play area for the kids?! So amazing. The charge per serving of ice cream not by weight which is great, you can do a small portion of ice cream and tons of toppings or the other way around. The beer list is pretty extensive. I wasn't even planning on grabbing a beer but since they have a play area for the kids I didn't feel rushed to finish it. The whole place is very well maintained. Clean and new furniture/tables as well as a fully stocked kids play area. Toys, games and a small area for infants. Highly recommend this place and we will definitely be back!! read more

This place was probably the biggest let down I've ever experienced. Weird experience with a kids play area, no actual beer on tap, and no legitimate ice cream. Soft serve with basic flavors and not what you'd expect. I'll say it's great if you have kids...that's it? Was really hoping for cool beers on tap with some ice cream that paired well with the ice cream. If that's what you want, I'd recommend somewhere else. read more

We had a really nice time here. It's cute inside. There is a nice play area that is good for kids. There is even an area for babies. It's tucked in the back so if you want more of a date night atmosphere you can still get that in the front of the restaurant. The cashier was friendly and helpful with explaining how everything worked. The dole whip was really good. I will definitely be getting that again. I like the topping options for the ice cream. The pricing is really nice, too. It's pretty affordable for the small size. If you want more, the prices are still pretty good for the larger sizes. It's nice to have the option to spend less than your typical place. read more

Decided to stop by and try this place. It's nice that it has a kids play area. There is a small selection of self serve flavors. Friendly employee and just a cute little shop. It's a nice bonus that there is a 20% Passport discount for BECU members. I would stop by again if in the area and would try the food items since I didn't get to try them this time. read more

We were having dinner across the street and just happened to have one of the kids call out the ice cream sign. The six of us popped in and I'm glad we did. Such a cool remodel turned into a family friendly space for parents to relax and kids to play and eat snacks/ice cream in a safe, clean environment. Can't wait to come back again. read more

This place is a gem in the heart of downtown Everett. It has rotating beer & cider on tap. They have non-alcoholic beverages, soft serve, and frozen yogurt. They also have hot food, snacks, and a freezer filled with pints of ice cream, healthier snacks, and day-old leftover froyo which honestly is genius. Most importantly, they have Dole Whip which I am obsessed with! They keep the pineapple flavor and have a rotating flavor such as raspberry dole, strawberry dole, etc. There is a mini toppings bar, and hopefully they'll expand as time goes on. They also offer seasonal items to keep things fresh and interesting like pumpkin spice froyo. They also do root beer/beer/coffee floats! So fun! The owners are awesome! This is bar is women-owned so I feel completely safe here! Kids are welcome too! There's a little section with toys, books, and a gated area for our baby crawlers and toddlers! The space is clean. $9 for a factory made waffle cone to fill with pre-made, artificially flavored and colored soft serve that started melting immediately because it was so thin. I barely ate any and just threw it away as I'm not about to waste calories on low quality soft serve. For that price you gotta up your game on the quality front a bit. Those are "made in house" prices at establishments that prepare their own quality ingredients, even throughout the city of seattle. Some places actually cost less, like Indigo Cow in Wallingford and even Matcha Man in Georgetown for 100% homemade taiyaki cones! read more

I almost don't even want to post what a hidden gem this place is! Beer and Fro-yo (what a treat), but bonus play area for kids?!? That sealed the deal! Pretty basic, and I mean BASIC ice cream spot, flavors are very very limited, toppings are also as limited as you can imagine and I would say it is definitely more a small brewery than an ice cream parlor. This beautifully redone space has drinks, ice cream, and snacks galore for the whole family! The kids area is a great size, with room to be with them or sitting just outside looking in. Both of the servers were on top of it and ran both dozens back to have our order recooked. Second time around they were hot and crispy with good flavor(although the garlic boom boom wings were missing one of the sauces the second time around). It didn't matter, we ate them and paid. Not sure we will put this on our revisit list. Maybe the burgers or flatbread were the way to go, but out of 3 menu items and even the drinks.... There needs to be much more effort to everything here...

5th grade camp was a hit! From the moment of bus drop offs to bus pick ups, Cedar Springs had every…read moreminute accounted for and planned out. Their system of organization and scheduling of daily events was impressive. Staff was incredibly gracious, especially while containing a hundred 10 year old boys and girls. Daily routine began with reveille at 0700 hours and ended at 10p with lights out. Survival classes were informative and included sessions like fire building, archery, stream studies, rock climbing, and forestry to name a few. Breakfast, lunch, and dinners were definitely elevated from a 'camp' menu with dishes like pork tenderloin, brisket, hot breakfasts, 24/7 coffee and tea for chaperones, side salads and dessert with every meal. I. Was. Im. PRESSED. They flip schools midweek, so if you're there from Wed-Fri, the previous school will be wrapping up lunch as you arrive and they depart. Schools never crossed paths and the transition was seamless. The cabins were 4 groups of 3 bunks with extra cots if needed. Working heaters and windows on every wall to air out during the day (highly recommended). It def got humid at night in the fall. Bathroom rotations were 10 mins per cabin which sounded like an impossible amount of time but worked out well. There were 11 showers in the main restroom with one being ADA accessible. 3 separate showers in the shared chaperone and employee restroom (which only had one working toilet). I preferred the main restroom but used it after lights out for my showers. No problems running out of stalls or showers. The bunks were rough for chaperone bones... wish I had brought extra padding to ease the sleepless nights after long days of trail walking, back to back events from 7a-9p, and dealing with a ton of 5th graders for 3 days straight! The bottomless coffee and tea helped keep us all upright! Overall, impressive meals, even more impressive staff, and impeccable scheduling!

I can't even begin to tell you how pleasant our bike tour experience was! We hardly even got on the road and I was mentally adding "get a bike and go places on it" to my life list. We rode past lines of cars and along the back edges of the unbelievable tulip fields (where the tourists in their REALLY NOT FIELD-FRIENDLY OUTFITS were afraid to go) and have a million pictures to show for it. Many, many thanks to Derek (and his dad!) for making it such an easy, fun and memorable experience.
