For dinner I chose the Works Pizza (#10) for $15.50: red sauce, cheese, pepperoni, sausage, ham, red onion, olives and mushrooms. Quite the tasty pizza. ---------------- This is a cool little brewery right in my backyard. Free parking can be found in the parking lot. Discover is an accepted form of payment. This brewery is essentially a refurbished hangar so dress accordingly. It's a good idea to bring a sweatshirt or jacket to ward off the chill. There are a few TVs mounted throughout the hanger. Board-games are also available to play while sipping brews. Beer listings are displayed on a nice digital screen. A couple beers have a high ABV which limits those beers to two pours. There isn't really a kitchen; however, simple foods such as sandwiches and chips are available. Waiter service is non-existent. Orders are placed at the counter as well as picked up at the counter (beer & food). My wife ordered Audrey for $5 a pint. I ordered the Back Stabbing Bitch (2 pour limit) for $5 a pint. We both enjoyed our choices. For lunch my wife ordered the Traditionalist Polish Dog with original Tim's potato chips for $6. Can't go wrong with a hot dog. I ordered half a Big JW with a bag of jalapeno Tim's chips for $6. My sandwich was generously topped with meat and cheese and grilled to a nice golden brown. Tasty. Stopped in after J&L BBQ (go read that review!) for a flight of beers, just to judge the overall quality of this place, which was new to me. They have abundant indoor and outdoor seating, and a dedicated parking lot. Ordered a flight of 5 IPAs and one sour. Now, I'm used to getting maybe 2 or 3 out of 6 beers in a flight as being not-too-good... it's just what I've learned to expect. Well, not here! We've been going to At Large since we relocated to the area in 2020. Even during the height of the pandemic they were able to accommodate customers outside and in that way were able to continue to operate. The staff is helpful and friendly and really know the beers on tap. Their amazing beers are on rotating taps but they definitely pay attention to what the people want and will bring back popular beers. Big Bob is one of those, and it was worth it! Their hazy IPAs are always on point. They also have rotating food trucks but you can also bring in your own take out from anywhere. It's our go-to neighborhood favorite. This is a gem of a spot tucked in West Everett near the waterfront. They've added in a number of huge tents, heaters and outdoor seating to make things comfortable during the pandemic. However, if you arrive on a busy Friday like we did, be prepared to wait or have to negotiate to find yourself some seats. Inside, the owner was serving drinks the night we came and was incredibly nice and helpful when it came to picking one of their amazing beers to drink. Their menu has a number of great options from stouts on nitro to excellent hazy IPAs. Keep an eye out to see if they have a good truck on their schedule because those are often worth a visit on their own too. read more

They always have a great mix of Pilsners, ambers, blondes and sours.....that basically there's a beer for you! Even if your not one of the pretentious IPA or bust folks that the PNW has plenty of! I had a blonde which was very good and had a little hop flavor to it. I also sampled an amber which was also good. They definitely have some solid beer choices. I can only comment on the beer we purchased today since the seating area is closed due to COVID19. Its so hard to find a double IPA that doesn't make me sick to my stomach from how syrupy it is. The "All Bark, No Bite" is my new favorite! Way more dank than any double ipa I've ever tasted. I thoroughly enjoyed! The owner was super nice as well. He seems to really love his craft. Great place with an interesting selection of beers including a jalepeno hefe! We enjoyed the flight and really loved their variety of IPAs. Their black IPA was divine - wish we had skipped the flight and just ordered pints of that. They do have some food (cold nachos, hot dogs, etc). I let the staff know that the bathroom paper towel dispenser was basically going crazy and spitting out paper towels and there was a pile on the floor. No kidding the girl looked at me like i was crazy and stormed off into the bathroom to check it out. Then i caught attitude all night long from her. If this is how you run a business no thank you. Then there was the people with the wiener dog on the table. Got to wear a mask but you can put a wiener dog on the table. Really? Lastly beer really just was not good. my wife and i got violently ill right after drinking the beer. I really thought it was me but my wife and our friends got sick too. At Large Brewery is a welcome treat of craft brewing in Everett, WA. I decided to find it one sunny afternoon after a difficult day and was there as soon as it opened up. The space is black and white and stainless steel. There are games and an outdoor area with pub lights and heaters. The people working here are very knowledgeable about all the beers. The IPA selection is amazing and varied. I will definitely be back and bring my beer swilling buddies, I'll likely leave with a growler today after enjoying the water view and Navy ships. read more
