Good food, and simple menu, plus LIBATIONS! It's quite a good selection of brews they have and the food has always been on point. I've tried both locations and I haven't been disappointed, yet. They also have a good selection of refrigerated drinks if beer doesn't fancy you. Staff is friendly and courteous and place is clean. This should go on your "Try" list. Happy eating, -Fj

There were so many delicious items on the menu it was very difficult to choose but I ended up with the loaded carnitas tots. Which were not loaded with carnitas but they did have a great flavor with the Beechers cheese sauce and lil peppers. My man got the pretzel burger which is not pictured but that thing was delicious! We did really enjoy the tater tots as they were crispy, nicely, fried, and flavorful especially with their delightful ranch. I am excited to try other items whenever I go back. The service consists of ordering at the bar and they bring your food to the table. It was incredibly loud and even a bit overwhelming after a while but it was just nice and busy on a Wednesday afternoon.

Huge food and drink menu so there was something for everyone. The bartenders offered multiple samples. The fish tacos and loaded tots were great. Only con was that it gets super loud in there.

When I saw the big Tapped sign out front, I expected good beers on tap and they delivered! Beer houses live and die by their options on draft. But given how busy they were during my first visit, I knew I found gold. With a good selection of drinks and food, good food too, I now had an excuse to keep going back instead of trying other bars in the area even though the items are price. I keep going back to the prime rib sandwich that comes with french onion soup dip. So good.

Fish sandwich - wonderful! Love the tots!

We have loved our visits every time. Quick service, amazing food, wonderful drink selection! We love it here.

We have been coming here for years now before our trips to the airport and this place never disappoints! I got the BLT which was amazing & he got the pretzel burger which was awesome!! The staff is always so nice and the outdoor patio is such a nice place to chill out for an afternoon! 10/10 will be coming back!

This place has such a cozy vibe to it. If you're into American comfort food, cool wine & beer selections, and genuine camaraderie among the staff then this is the place for you. I saw they served prime rib sandwiches, which I haven't had in a long time so decided to try that. Since I ordered to go I substituted the fries for a side of their seafood chowder. Everything smelled amazing when I opened up the containers. In terms of presentation, I was a little off put by the prime rib meat on the sandwich. Based on the pictures I've seen I was under the impression that the meat would be on the medium side. Mine looked like I was given leftover shavings, or meat that was overcooked. However, when I bit into the sandwich I was surprised to find that the meat was tender and overall had a good flavor, so no harm no foul there. The au jus on the side has a nice aroma to it. What's different about theirs is there are slivers of onion in the sauce & I could swear it has some form of a brandy or cooking wine that was added for depth, idk...I can't put my finger on it but it was also tasty. The chowder was just meh, definitely not the best I've had in Washington. It was also on the thicker side too, so if you like a looser soup this isn't for you. Overall not bad. If you find yourself on this side of town check them out!

I will definitely be back to try the beer, but my first experience at TPH was just for lunch. The cashier told me the Prime Rib Dip is the best thing on the menu. He could be right. I've had a million French Dips, this one definitely stands out. The jus is obviously house-made and fantastic. I'll be back to do some 16-oz. curls soon!

I came to Tapped for my first time this month and was so impressed that I brought a group of friends with me the following week. The food menu is so long and everything I've tried has been so delicious. They also have probably over 100 beers to choose from between the fridge section and what's on tap. My favorite food item is for sure the sweet potato waffle fries w the little aioli sauce. I've also had 2 incredible salads - the harvest and the honey lime chicken. My only qualm about Tapped is that it does get pretty loud in there but they have sound boards on the ceilings, also the outdoor seating is loud too since it's right on the Speedway but there's nothing they can do about that.

The homemade beers are good. We've had different food items, and always consistently good as well. Medium food portions...no leftovers.

Today I went to do a review on this wonderful restaurant. I wasn't disappointed at all. They had a wonderful variety of food and beverages. Wine beer Coca-Cola you name it.. I ordered the fish and the chips and it was absolutely wonderful. The fish was tender fresh and hot and their fries were tasty as well. I also ordered coconut shrimp for my appetizer and it was great as well. All of their employees seem happy and that they love their job. Our waitress was super sweet and she was doing a wonderful job and helping us. They had a great variety of food on their menu wonderful parking and their food did not cost that much. It didn't break my wallet. I would come to this place over and over again. I think it's absolutely wonderful and I believe that you're going to enjoy it as well. You just got five stars from that review lady from the Yelp elite squad..

Kids' chicken strips. 2 thumbs up.

If you're in the mood for a basic place where they do everything right, you can probably round up a star. In long This has been at least one other sports bar, and you might be surprised how big it is inside. There's a decent amount of parking, and a ton of reliable places to eat also surround this lot. I came in to check out Husky hoops yesterday afternoon, which nobody around here was showing since it was on a streaming platform. The place was empty when I showed up 'cause it was way between lunch and dinner, so I got to chat with the cool bartender a bit. She had already scoured their channel guides to see which local teams she'd be able to show, so we shared a cheerful grumble about how you can't just get one subscription to cable anymore and see all your teams' games. I didn't get the sense she was a sports dork like me, so she was doing this so she could do a good job at work. I like that!@ This place from the outside looks like it might seat about 25, but the reality is that it's several times that big. Dozen pool tables scattered around, plenty of room for everybody to line up shots. Couple dozen TVs. Huge horseshoe-shaped bar going from the middle of room to the back corner, lots of stools. You can see a few nice choices for spirits here and there. Full bar for sure. Beers are a little on the industrial side, probably no wines. She mixed a decent old-fashioned for me, but asked multiple questions about how I liked it. I really loved how detailed she was with everything--which games are on, which drinks they have, how to make them, how they serve their food. She didn't seem like the owner (I don't think) but she knew the whole place like the back of her hand. I had a prime rib dip, which was just the sandwich you want when you can have a little cheat. Good chewy onion rings that didn't pull apart after one bite--you get batter and onion, both, every time. Jus was good, meat was tender, bread had a nice chew to it. The chef puts his name on at least one dish, and the bartender went on about how much scratch cooking he does. I asked if she recommended something specific, and she rattled off half the menu. This is definitely a place where you can happily eat during the game. I was out the door with a meal and a drink for under $30, which is an amazing value these days.

We had a MARVELOUS experience!…read more My bf, his mom and myself passed by this place on a couple of walks. I've also marked it as a place to visit. It is part of the Staybridge Suite hotels here and this hotel in general, is always packed! We finally know why! The hotel inside is beautiful -- woodwork and a cozy ambience! The 5 x 5 bar & bistro is new. What it was before was an old theater. Matthew was a one-man show with two ladies helping him with carrying the done orders to the tables. It was actually quiet on a Wednesday when we had went. Only 3 tables occupied. We missed happy hour and settled on the regular menu. I had the chicken tenders (4-pc) with lemon pepper seasoning (oh my -- this was delicious!) along with sweet potato waffle fries. I also got the hummus plate -- fresh veggies and the hummus had feta cheese and olive oil too, yummy! My bf had the pepperoni pizza with cheddar cheese and topped with green onions. I had a taste of it and it was pretty good! My bf's mom had the fish burger with a side salad. Matthew was so kind and made a mental note of the orders. He even remembered my bf's mom saying 'no cheese' and he doubled checked with her after looking at the fish burger. Real nice guy and his service with the ladies was warm and delightful! They're forming an events room hall that will be done soon that used to be a pool area (so yes, no swimming pool anymore). They also have a nice patio area with long chairs and a nice mini bar/grills in the middle. I also had a limoncello cooler and my bf's mom has red wine too. We'd come back again!

In short Great deals on great drinks, food is really solid,…read moreand the setting is nice and friendly. Only drawback is that the hours are limited. In long Lately we've been seeking out places that are literally quieter--less volume on the music, more space between the tables, and so on. I'd been wanting to check out 5x5, anyway, since it's the only spot around with an exactly perfect rating score. It looked like it'd fit the bill for a low-key place, and off we went. We came in shortly after they opened on a Saturday (4:00 PM). You're in a larger business-traveler hotel here, aimed at Boeing and Boeing-sub folks traveling for work. The building looks kinda generic from outside, but there's plenty of parking, and the lobby has a high-ceilinged atrium vibe for sure. Nice floor tiles, nice carpet, tasteful furniture. Everything's in perfect shape. You don't feel the lounge vibe right away, but there's a gigantic fireplace ahead of you, warming both sides of the room from the middle. Around that, there are lots of sturdy, shiny tables under the lofty ceilings. Off to the side, there's a little lounge area, then another one. Everything in the lounge is bar-height seating, and there are a few flatscreens, probably showing the game. Most folks are in here, sitting around the bar in the middle of the room. We posted up at a table just outside the lounge. Lindsey was behind the bar, and cheerfully answered every single question we had about food and all their cocktails. She's super friendly and makes a great drink for sure. She seems to have a bunch of regulars who aren't staying at the hotel, which is a great sign, no doubt. We checked out the warm pretzel--such a decadent treat. The waffle fries (and especially the aioli that came with them) were awesome. The pizza was a great choice; we added pickled onions to the Speedway. The crust could be a little crisper but we took home what we didn't finish and it's great here, too. Service on food and drinks was really quick. The cocktails here can be really creative, and there are lots of classics with house twists on the recipe. They even have a pisco sour they've tweaked--that's a fair bit of work for a bartender to make mid-shift. We got 5 great drinks and 3 nice plates of food for $96, and I don't think we even ordered anything from the HH menu. This is a very easy place to add to the rotation.

I ordered the lemon pepper with a side of extra hot sauce and my wife got the honey garlic wings. Both sauces were super tasty and I'm excited to come back and try the other options they have. On the inside the bar is huge! Definitely didn't expect this from the outside. I'll have to come back and check it out at night to see how it is. Seems like they have a great beer menu on draft and lots of tall boy cans available. I also hear their breakfast is good so we'll have to try this soon as well!
