I am a staunch cheese pizza enthusiast, however when I discovered Sound2Summit a few years ago on my trip to Everett I was completely sold on the Pork and Pine. It is like their other menu offerings reviewed here --a standout. I travel around the state of Washington and want to say, this place's menu and beer keep me coming back and ditching my cheese pizza tendencies. Overall a great taproom vibe with a great menu to pair with the award winning beers. So, you might be asking, after all these years, why a review now? They have achieved the trifecta in the restaurant review tonight. Awesome service. I called in my usual order, the pork and pine and headed there. I don't know who was working the the register, but he is owed accolades for their kindness, authenticity, and general "good vibes" he brought to the experience. Accolades for just that? Yes. Yes. We had a very pleasant experience. Inside, the atmosphere is warm and homey, but also professional enough for a work happy hour. The staff were very friendly. The smoked gouda Mac n cheese was perfectly cooked and seasoned, I just wish they had more bacon. The prosciutto and pear pizza was very good, the crust was a nice texture. Free parking can be found in the parking lot. Discover is an accepted form of payment. S2S is a family friendly brewery. There are a couple TVs mounted indoors. A large outdoor seating area is available to enjoy a beer or two. Each picnic table is equipped with a large umbrella to help against the sun. This location does not offer table service. Every time you want a beer, you must order at the counter. Food orders are placed at the counter and picked up from the kitchen window once notified by pager. Tabs a paid for at the counter. Lines become long which results in longer wait times leading to time wasted and cold food. S2S can and should improve on this process. During my visit I slurped on a couple pints of Seas the Day IPAs for $7 each. My girlfriend had a couple pints of Alpine Honey Blondes for $6.50 each. We shared the Supreme Pizza for $18: red sauce, cheese, pepperoni, salami, sausage, green pepper, onion, mushrooms and black olives. Grated parmesan cheese and pepper flakes were not offered for our pizza. The pizza is small but tasty; a light dinner for the two of us since we shared. The beer was really good! We sat in the bubble on the patio. That was awesome. Pizza was great in my option, wife said a little too much sauce but I liked it a lot. The pretzel and cheese were also pretty good. It was pretty average price for a brewery for food and beer. The service we got was also great. The food here is really good and I always like the new cider they have on tap. There was an apple pie cider that was AMAZING (and I usually like dry ciders but this one was spiced and sweet and delicious). The staff are nice and they routinely clear tables of dishes, glassware etc. although there is a station where you can clear your own. I've gotten the pub pretzel, Super Bowl (with pulled pork) and the small Mac and cheese, the Monster Mac, and they are all delicious. The small Mac and cheese was a good portion for 1 serving and priced at $12.99, it felt like a great deal. The Super Bowl is my favorite thing on the menu though! It's definitely a brewery, but very welcoming and easy to approach. The outdoor area is nice in the summer and they just got a cool igloo in the winter that looks great in pictures. read more

Came here on a quick layover and can say anytime in here I'll be a regular. We had the chips, dip and pizza with some drinks. The food was all amazing, the beer and ciders were delicious and the service was top notch. We were lucky enough to spend most of our time with Seth helping us out. He was awesome, funny and really quick with refills, suggestions and was overall just an awesome person to have met. The entire staff was incredible honestly, with consistent check ins from anyone who walked by; not to mention they had a fundraiser event going on simultaneously and they had their system running like clock work! The new brewery on the Everett waterfront was better than we planned. It is a bit chaotic when you walk in. Not a lot of direction as to finding your own seat, how to order, or looking at a menu. Phone service wasn't great so the online we code menu would not load. It is a seat yourself. We went Saturday afternoon about 4:30 and it was packed with parties. Paper menus can be found at the counter in front of The register where you have to order food and drinks. No table service. Water is on the counter next to the kitchen. Guy working the register had great suggestions. I only wish I had known how big the servings were going to be. We had the Pub pretzel with beer cheese, Brushetta with goat cheese and tapanede, smoked Gouda Mac n cheese, Getting figgy with it fold, and the pulled pork bowl. Pretzel was really good. We liked the brushetta but they were build your own and the bread was half a slice of bread toasted. They were good just really big servings. The getting figgy with it fold is just the pizza folded. It is huge. 3-4 people could probably share it. The Mac n cheese was mid. Pulled pork was good as well. Overall, beware of the time you are going. Service takes a little longer than a restaurant. There seemed to be only two people in the kitchen. Buy a great beer while you wait or grab a game off the shelf. We would return and try different items. read more

I met up with a coworker here, who was in from out of town (PDX) for dinner, and we were both pretty happy with our experience here! Parking was easy, you order at the counter, they give you a buzzard, and you pick up your food at the kitchen food window. I ordered: - clam chowder - I think it was the pear and prosciutto pizza - mac and cheese to go - cider We sat near the front door, which ended up having lil gnats flying in our face, so we scooted over to the next table, not sure if that was better. I got the clam chowder, which wasn't that great. I did enjoy my pizza though! My coworker said my pizza had more flavor to it than hers, which she ordered a similar pizza, but it had i think chicken on it. I got a mac and cheese to go for my husband, which was a lil expensive for the size of it, and def not filling enough for it to be considered a meal. Amazing pizza. Solid beer. Crazy good atmosphere. Insanely busy. But doable if you get there and it's busy, spots free up quickly.

I was super excited to check out the new location of one of my fave Snohomish breweries, and I wasn't disappointed. First, I love the vibe here. It's very PNW with lots of wood, plus industrial and marine touches (like a cool rope wall divider). It's also super light and bright, with a giant beer garden, family-friendly main dining area, and large bar area. It was also super busy (especially for a Wednesday afternoon - gotta love the PNW)! They only have counter ordering, which was fine when I arrived and ordered my beer. I got their award-winning amber ale, by the way - it was malty and delicious. And the beertenders were so helpful and friendly. You can definitely tell this is a much-loved business. By the time I was done with my beer and ready to pay, there was a HUGE line-up waiting to order. Sadly, I had to stand in this line to settle my tab, which was mildly annoying and pretty time consuming. Not the end of the world, but I was regretting that I'd opened a tab. I didn't try any of the food here; I was looking for something in the "small bite" family (hello jalapeno popper craving), but most of their menu was larger items and I just wasn't hungry enough for a full entree. This place is one of our favorite hangouts in Everett! All of their beers are FANTASTIC. They always do a great job of rotating their options and there is always something seasonal on tap. The food is also wonderful! Sometimes breweries and taphouses can miss the mark on food but everything we have had at Sound2Summit is great! I especially recommend their pizza. The staff are all kind and extremely attentive and hospitable. We really enjoy the atmosphere, layout and vibes of this place. In the summer time, you can't beat a cold beer on their patio! The only downside is the space is a little small for how popular it is! It can be tough to get a table on the weekends but it's worth the wait. read more

Order your food at the point of sale, pay for it with tip.(SHOULD NOT TIP) We sat right in front of where the food goes out to the customers. So here's the process to totally f up your chowder!!! pay attention this is true stuff!! Step one. 1.) place a Half/Undercooked pizza under warmer. 2.)Place receipt on top of pizza. 3.) Create a breeze so the breeze will blow the receipt into the chowder. 4. Ignorance is bliss... pizza cook notices nothing. He does not even notice if he cooked the pizza properly( no is the answer). 5. The receipt is in the chowder people. I said nothing. See if the cook will notice? Nope. Not a shi* given. ....all While our Caprese salad sits, garlic bread sits, pizza sits for at least 5 minutes, while the receipt just is a swimming around in the chowder. Nobody in the kitchen notices our food on the counter nor the chowder's new ingredient.(receipt paper) Wife walks up to the cook asks him what order he placed under the warmer. Order confirmed!! she grabs the garlic bread, pizza, caprese salad and walks the food over to our table. I am thinking these guys turn the damn oven on. JUST 2 CLARIFY. Away on business we visited this great brewery that served food that is located in Everett near the Navy Base, right off the water. We went in with a group of 32 people && the Restrant was so pleased for the business! It was a walk up && order - that was slinging some pretty good grub! The staff was awesomely pleasant && accommodating to our large group && the service was super quick. The husband && I got a plethora of items from their menu && of course I got their Seasonal Apple Cider that they had on tap. Ummmm YUUUUM! We ordered the Pub Pretzel, signature clam chowder, LARGE house salad w/ chicken && their Hawaiian pizza. The Pub Pretzel was a HOUSE made THICK hearty pretzel with warm smoked rich Gouda cheeeeeze! It was super hearty and not too salty. The Signature Clam Chowder was super hearty - not normal clam chowder you would normally have, but it tasted like a play on a gumbo with the seasoning that they used && dark roux type color to the chowder. The husband ordered a Hawaiian Pizza in true Islander style. He said it was awesome. I tried the crust && it was nice and sweet && a perfect ratio of chewy to fluffy ratio. I ordered their House salad with seasoned chicken. It came with their house made sherry-shallot vinaigrette. OMG it was so freaking good! Went today, it was a sunday evening seahawks game was on and it was fairly empty, We had two pizzas and thought was gonna be homemade kettle chips but they were just bagged chips you'd get with like a sandwich. Queso was really good that came with them and the pizzas were great. There homemade pizzas and proper pizza oven. For 17 bucks a pizza it was expensive but it was great tasting and all the ingredient's were probably local and home made so made the price worth it. If you like sipping on beer, watching the game its a solid spot, will probably try the snohomish location next because of a few more choices. As a DD be cool if they had fountain drinks instead of $2 per can of soda but eh not a big deal. You order up front then go sit down so service isn't anything really. I live very close and I WANT to like this place and have come many times, but 1) it's just so, so amazingly slow, 2) the food is wildly unpredictable in quality, and 3) they are constantly out of things. I am not a beer drinker but my friend is and we went here. Sadly, they one had one cider on tap when their advertisement says they have everything in between. I was hoping they were like other breweries that would have at least two choices. The cider was good though. I liked the lunch special. It is a pizza and salad and get a nice portion. You can option for the Caesar or Chowder for $3 more but I stuck with the House salad and the deal is only 12$. The pizza is pretty good and I was able to take home some for my son. I am not a huge eater so it's half and half on if you think it's a huge portion to finish or not. I had enough for left overs! The place has a great atmosphere! It's nice and clean and the bathrooms are too! The staff is really nice, they have counter service, but once you sit they have staff that check on you and assure you get service as well. I gave 4 stars because I wish there were more options of Cider for people like me who don't drink beer. I love going out with my friends who do but also want to be accommodated too.
