We are in town from Pennsylvania with our family of seven. We stopped here and joined the large line for ice cream. The line I thought was moving quickly when all of a sudden, a sweet lady snagged us out of the line and took our order on the side and then brought everything to us. We decided to stop by and get some ice cream on our stroll on the boardwalk. The service was excellent and the young man immediately asked if our dog would like a pup cup and held it for her as she ate it. So sweet. We both got cups, a chocolate brownie and a strawberry. My favorite ice cream ever!! We come almost every weekend in the summer and bring all our family and friends here. It's a super convenient location right off the boardwalk and a few steps from the beach. The homemade flavors are so fun and absolutely delicious. Crack is my personal favoriteservice is pretty quick and the staff is friendly. My only complaint is that they advertise that they have gluten free waffle cones and they NEVER have any when we go. They say they run out quickly during the day but it doesn't make sense to me why they can't just make more? Our family of 6 has gotten icecream at multiple other places and we usually pay $35-$40 for MUCH larger portions. The flavors are gimmicky. There were barely any mix ins in the 2 flavors pictured. After a post-dinner walk, we stopped in to get some ice cream here. There are sometimes employees who will come out to take orders but it doesn't make sense who they will come out to help. The group behind us had just arrived and immediately had their order taken. For ice cream, I ordered the chocolate chip cookie dough in a waffle cone. The ice cream itself was fine, it was typical and perfect for a summer evening. The waffle cone was trash -- it was undercooked overall but especially on one side where it was completely soft and had a weird texture. I did like that they gave us a waffle cone holder since the ice cream immediately started dripping through. I wouldn't waste the extra money on a waffle cone -- just get a cake cone or opt for the cup. There were two main lines that were long and somewhat chaotic. It's definitely a crowd favorite so be prepared for a lot of people at any time of day. It wasn't too loud, but definitely busy and even when we were walking by earlier in the day it was still busy. Thankfully the line moves at a decent speed since there are a ton of people working behind the counter. read more
