The Agape Creamery is just one of the attractions at the Millville Boardwalk complex, which also includes a large arcade and 18 hole mini golf course. Both ice cream and golf tickets are sold in the front building, and the arcade is the large building in the back of the lot. There's a rotating selection of a dozen or more ice cream flavors, including seasonal items like Pumpkin Roll this past Thanksgiving. Even during fall and winter months they have a steady stream of customers. The golf course is well maintained and has cute decorations for the holidays. It is challenging enough that adults will have fun, but not too difficult for children to play also. My only complaint was that the music playing over the speakers on the golf course was very loud, and I would have appreciated it being a bit softer. read more

The entire place is called Millville Boardwalk and consists of mini golf, icecream, arcade, and an area for events like outdoor concerts. The mini golf place is well kept, beautifully maintained, and has some fun ways to play. Some holes had water access, others different levels of green, and each was a fun challenge. It's pretty cool that everything is in one area for an entire day of activities. The arcade was nicely air conditioned, clean, and had a great variety of games. A great place to check out! read more

Used to love this ice cream. Not sure what's going on this year. I ordered Mint Chocolate Chip and there was not one chip in it. More recently, I ordered the infamous Cookies and Cream and there were no cookies in it. It used to have huge chunks of cookie. So disappointed. Go back to your old recipe/ratio. read more

There are many ice cream places at the beach and we have made it a point to try them all. This one is off the beat and path, is large and well worth the visit. We rate Agape #1 and I even buy seasonal flavors by the pint to take home. Definitely recommend! read more

Let me start off by saying that I am an ice cream snob. I am always excited to try new ice cream and love supporting local businesses. Creameries are a great way to eat local and support a local business. I discovered that Agape was right down the road from where we were staying. We decided to try it on a Friday night. It is located right off the main road. There is mini golf ($9.50 a person!) and an arcade there too. We got in line and awaited our turn. Once inside, we could see the flavors available. I was pretty disappointed in the selection. Online it shows so many flavor options and I really was surprised that there weren't any seasonal flavors except for an old bay flavor (which doesn't sound appetizing). Flavors in our order included: strawberry, mint chocolate chip, black raspberry and peanut butter swirl. One thing to mention is that the serving sizes are massive. This is the most ice cream I have ever seen in a waffle cone and the prices are so reasonable given the quantity of ice cream. I was able to sample them all and my own flavor was the peanut butter ripple. The peanut butter ripple was lacking peanut butter flavors and the "ripple" was barely there and I only had a few pieces of that. This was really disappointing. The strawberry didn't have any pieces of strawberry in it and no fruit in the black raspberry either. The mint chocolate chip was pretty boring and really lacking in mint flavor. It tasted pretty artificial. The waffle cones were pretty good. I really want to love this place. They have a good mission too. However, our unanimous decision was that this was not very good ice cream. It wasn't creamy and lacked flavor. Plus the flavor options were really limited. I can't say I would go back. read more

I walked in with a trained service dog that was wearing an orange vest that clearly stated "Service Animal". The man behind the counter asked me to leave with my dog. I politely told him it was a service animal. He said fine and threw us attitude. I was there with my friends and family. This man was rude to all of us. He was impatient and condescending. I spent over $60 on ice cream and drinks. I will not be giving this place another cent. It's hard to tell if he treated us this way because of the service dog or not. Either way it doesn't matter. Rude is rude. He seemed like he was the owner but I'm not certain. read more

We went to this creamery based on a recommendation, and the ice cream was definitely worth it!! The ice cream was very creamy, and they had a lot of fun flavors. They let us try some of the flavors, so I can attest that they don't have any bad flavors. I got a waffle cone, which was definitely worth it. We went mid afternoon and there wasn't any line, but the space looked set up for there to be a wait during other times. If you go at night, I'd be prepared to wait to get your ice cream. I am updating my review because I went back this past Sunday with my family. We were greeted by a sweet young lady with braces. She was so sweet, we ordered 4 1 scoop ice cream cups and a quart of candy cane to go. Nothing crazy, so I don't understand with the tall blond young lady was rude to us when we left. My family was thankful and respectful, we are all adults talking to ourselves enjoying our ice cream and her responses was short. Even when we walked out we said thank you and her response was Yup!!! Their flavors are always very interesting and delicious. I always forget to take photos because everyone is done with their ice cream by the time anyone remembers to take photos. On an extremely hot day recently we made our way to Agape Creamery on the recommendation of a neighbor. We were not disappointed. The ice cream was creamy, rich and tasty. My partner and I had the Peanut Butter Ripple and it was one of the better peanut butter ice creams we've had. The servers behind the counter were pleasant and helpful - they were well - staffed that day! There is a large screened-in seating area with ceiling fans, tables and a variety of seating types. Finally made it to agape creamery and really enjoyed it! There was a bit of a line to place our order but it gave us some time to look over the menu. They do offer some samples too which is nice since they have a decent variety. We went with a one scoop waffle cone that had s'mores ice cream and another waffle cone with two scoops of birthday cake. Each of these were packed full, so much so that they broke the waffle cone! Not complaining though as the portions were very generous which is what you want with Ice cream! The waffle cones are homemade and have cinnamon in the batter, just something to keep in mind. Seriously amazing ice cream! We ordered 3 pints through One Coastal, and were blown away with the quality of this ice cream. I'm not usually one for simple vanilla or chocolate but these were superb! The Oreo was the best Oreo I've ever had. I can't wait to try more flavors and was excited to see its not a far drive from Fenwick/Bethany. I will note, the prices may seem a bit high, but this isn't your average Ben and Jerry's pint, it's far better and you can really taste the high quality of ingredients. Pistachio is my very favorite of their flavors, because this reminded me of Italian Spumoni (or at least the green stripe of the Spumoni). This is also a fun gathering spot for mini golf. Wide enough tables and outdoor dining area to social distance and sit comfortably. They managed well during Covid-19. They were planning on having outdoor concerts for the community and I hope they still will. They are community-minded. Large parking lot and back lot property would even work well as a drive-in for outdoor films and ice cream.
