If you're in the mood for rich, delicious soft-serve and simple but tasty old-school style American…read morefare, this place is for YOU! I had the famous footlong dog - was surprised to see it was deep fried... I wish I'd gotten a double. VERY tasty. My strawberry sundae healed something for my inner child - it was reminiscent of the ones they used to serve at McDonalds. Next time I'm going to ask for extra strawberries. I will note: you need to pack your patience - the line was long but the employees were efficient and cranking as hard as they could. Definitely worth the wait. There will be repeat visits over the summer!!!

The menu is classic, the kind of simple comfort food that has nothing to hide behind. Hot dogs, chili, fries, soft serve. Everything is straightforward and made the way you want it to be. The space is tiny, which is part of the charm and part of the warning label. There are only six seats, all at a counter, no tables. This is mostly a grab, wait a few minutes, and take it home kind of stop. Go early if you want a seat. Service is fast and genuinely friendly. Smiles, efficiency, no attitude, just people who know what they're doing. That kind of warmth matters more than most restaurants realize. We ordered a few foot longs, chili fries, and a couple ice cream cones. Every single item hit. The hot dogs were best loaded up with toppings, and the chili fries are a must. Rich, messy, and completely worth it. Highly recommended.

The service was great, friendly and fairly fast for such a large group. Unfortunately that was the only good aspect of this. The drinks were served in plastic disposable cups. Very wasteful. If I had known I would've just brought my own reusable water bottle. When the food came, several burgers were cooked incorrectly. I got a veggie and cheese quesadilla and the buffalo cauliflower appetizer. The quesadilla was alright but way too oily. It was basically sopping in oil. The sides of pico and sour cream came in tiny plastic containers and seemed store bought; the sour cream was separated with overly thick cream surrounded by liquid. The cauliflower was supposed to be "flash fried" (whatever that means) but it was honestly terrible. Soggy and mushy and soaked in a super strong buffalo sauce. The other people in the group who ordered burgers commented that their food was dry. This place honestly should be treated as a bar where you'll come to drink their extensive offering of alcohol. The food was pretty terrible and I will not be coming back for it.

(Saw a lot of other tables with unfinished food, which made us wary). We got the Buffalo Califlower starter .. not going to win any awards for crispness (like EYC), but we it paired well with Ranch. For mains, we got the Spicy Fish tacos (on corn tortilla) .. great flavor ... ago tuba tacos also scored well.

I asked for no onions and I think they read it as extra onions! and then added more onions! And then add a few more, enough to feed everyone on the east coast. First off, I'm annoyed that I have to pay an extra $3 to sub the veggie patty for any burger which makes the burger end up costing like $18. So I always just opt for the already vegetarian burger on the menu that's $15. It sounds tasty, but they put a minimal amount of sriracha Mayo which leaves you with a bunch of dry bread and little flavor. Second, I often order the pub tots as the side with my burger which I'm told doesn't come with bacon like the appetizer does. Well this time I ordered online and of course their menu doesn't describe what comes in the pub tots side for me to even say no bacon, so I get a vegetarian burger delivered with tater tots smothered in bacon and hardly any of the cheese. Meanwhile, my husband gets his chicken sandwich with pub tots covered in cheese and hardly any bacon. I get that some people may be ordering the veggie burger to be healthier, but use some common sense and assume the customer is a vegetarian! Or maybe follow-up with them and verify. And even if I did want the bacon, where was the cheese!? I already was pretty meh about Greene Turtle, but after this experience, you've completely lost a customer. $20 for a meal where I could only eat half of it and it was mediocre at best.
