The bathroom was exceptional, most wonderful shower in North America. The breakfast was also darn good, lots of choices and very friendly service. In fact all the employees were very cheerful and welcoming, darn pleasant. But above all, and far so, is the Japanese garden attached to the hotel. It is worth the trip all on it's own. Spectacular for it's size, only an acre- centered around a gorgeous water feature of a huge koi pond, with many lovely spaces to just chill and appreciate the beauty of the garden.

I was playing no games with the way the universe was talking to me yesterday. No thank you sir. We won't be driving anymore. Not going 50 on I5 for 7 hours. I pulled up hotels on Yelp, and this was the first choice. I thought OMG this has got to be expensive. Nope. Affordable. And VERY VERY nice. I'm INCREDIBLY picky and to say that this was super clean is a lot for me. It's so clean. Modern. Nice. The carpet was so clean that my socks didn't even get dirty walking around without shoes on. The service was great. When we checked in, the woman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The staff at the free breakfast were nicer too. I'm vegan and got an English muffin with peanut butter and jelly and coffee with Silk vanilla almond milk. Yay breakfast!! It was quiet, clean, a great price and just what we needed for an overnight stop before we figured out new tires and the long drive to N. California. Thank you Best Western for the overnight respite that was much needed.

It felt like the epitome of an average hotel at the Holiday Inn Express level. It wasn't super fancy or nice or new or fresh, and the person at the front desk wasn't that friendly, but it was fine. The room was clean; the beds were comfy; the front-desk person was efficient and thorough. The parking lot didn't feel sketchy, but since this particular visit, I have learned that almost all hotel parking lots are sketchy. As in don't leave anything in your car--not that I would ever do that. I live in San Francisco! We checked in late at night, slept, and checked out in the morning on our way to Corvallis; so we never really saw the place during the day.

On the website this hotel said it is got Disability access nowhere did it indicate that they had no…read moreelevator and you had to go 15 stairs to get into a room but to room for my sister-in-law she's in a wheelchair they got there she had been put on the 2nd floor absolutely no way to get in we asked for a refund and the front desk person claimed that they had successfully checked in and had gone and checked the room they never successfully checked in they never accepted a key to the room he tried to claim that they went into the room and therefore he could not rent it out We tried getting a refund through where we booked it they were denied also the guy at the front desk is a liar and then try to put it back on us saying if we wanted we'll chair accessible room we should have called them 1st I will never recommend this to anybody we ask for copies of the hotel security footage and the card access to the room as proof because he stated they've gone into the room instead he just denied the refund to the booking company I will never deal with somebody who is a liar and I will never recommend this hotel to anybody we found a much better hotel With truly wheelchair accessible rooms.

We called the day before our arrival to change the name on the reservation because the person it was originally under was no longer able to join us. We were told and confirmed that the name had been changed, but when we arrived, it hadn't been. They also would not charge the card on file because the cardholder wasn't present, which created another problem. Luckily, they were eventually able to fix the reservation because we knew all of the necessary information. Things got worse once we got to our rooms. In one room, we found dead flies in the bed and had to ask for new blankets. The bathroom reeked of urine, the lights flickered, and there was still trash in the trash can. In our other room, the shower mat was absolutely filthy, and that bathroom smelled terrible as well. Overall, the hotel felt dark, dirty, and honestly a little haunted. I would not recommend staying here--even if it were the only hotel for miles. Stay somewhere else!
