INCREDIBLE stay at The Pendry Park City. The service, spa, food and rooms were all fantastic. We had exceptional food in the lobby bar and at the Japanese restaurant in the hotel, Kita. The rooms were immaculate and well designed. In addition, we took a guided hike with the hotel company Compass Sports. Our hiking guides, Elva and Jamie, went above and beyond. They tailored a beautiful hike to our skill level, had water and snacks for us, and even made a fun video for us to remember the experience. If you do any excursions with Compass Sports, make sure to ask for Elva and Jamie! I highly recommend the Pendry Park City for your next stay. read more

Remarkable, contemporary hotel in the Canyon Villages of Park City. We spent a week here arriving early and staying late for an investor conference. Well-appointed from top to bottom, this hotel exudes class. From the living room in the lobby, the Apres dining area and bar, to the multiple building accommodations I couldn't ask for more. Restaurants are good from Kita the steakhouse to Dos Olas for tacos or the 6th floor Pool House, nothing misses. The Spa is beautiful and has good service. Other nearby restaurants are good as well. Our room? Oh my! A King Suite Residence was excellent. A one bedroom, one and a half bath with living room, balcony and fireplace. AND full kitchen including full size stackable washer dryer. What? I could move in here. Service was great at all spots. It's expensive even in the off season but we're coming back to ski in February. You should think about it too. read more

Great stay at the Pendry Park City in Utah and would certainly recommend to others looking for a nice resort hotel in Park City. The room featured a king bed that was comfortable and clean and the room came with a table and chairs and a small desk area. Plenty of storage for luggage and clothing and the bathroom was spacious, modern and clean. The staff at the Pendry was helpful from check-in through check-out and even though I arrived much earlier than the stated check-in time there was a room available and they allowed me to check-in nice and early upon arrival. The front desk staff, bell services and housekeeping team were all pleasant and friendly and genuinely helpful from start to finish. I enjoyed a massage at the spa that was excellent and the relaxation room before and after the massage was comfortable and indeed quite relaxing. Nice shower areas and a steam room made the spa trip one of the highlights of the stay. Plenty of restaurant options available and a cool little walk-up burrito window perfect for those hitting the slopes on property or for those looking for a quick bite before heading out. The only miss in my book is the lack of a true coffee shop on property; that would have been ideal! The gym was spacious and featured plenty of cardio machines, two Peloton bikes and a good amount of weights and stretching equipments. Towels at every machine and a good vibe in the gym. The place definitely has some ski town charms; and our stay was overall pleasant. However, quite unsure if we'd be back if the following is the norm: 1) Hot tub was not operating at all; 2) I got a text from housekeeping at 8:43am to tell me that they notice my "Do Not Disturb" sign and ask me to let them know when I want them to come back--I see the "good" intentions but bruh, if I'm on vacation, the last thing I want to feel is "rushed" in the morning. A note on the door, or no communications at all would be much better than this; and 3) The place is supposedly a nicer resort but it's kind of tacky to see signage throughout the room telling you that if you take, for example, a water bottle home, you'll get charged $25, or if $155 if you take a bathrobe...come on, there's better way to communicate that without placarding it all over the room (especially if you want to be getting into the luxury resort tier). read more

Was here with my wife and kids for 4 days. We got 2 bed 3 bath room and it was just amazing. Service at front desk and everywhere was awesome. Staff was amazing. Kita restaurant was tiny bit pricey for the food quality but still. Will come back here for sure. read more

Absolutely awful customer service and highly unprofessional. I booked a trip here for thousands of dollars. My trip was mysteriously canceled by the hotel. Every time I call the hotel (435-800-1990, option2), they answer the phone, put the phone down on the desk and I can hear them talking to each other-they did this 3 times. Another time, they put me on hold and eventually hung up on me. Why are they avoiding answering the phone? Very odd, very rude, very unprofessional. The anxiety and stress they are causing me-wondering if an employee there has my information and is scamming me. Definitely not the luxury service they advertise. read more

Stayed 4 nights at the Pendry and cannot wait until we come back. The hotel and plaza is so beautiful, but what really made it for us was the staff. The concierge - Spencer and Natalia - really went above and beyond to make our trip special. Pendry Park City was just okay. We booked a 2-bedroom suite - While the room was nice and large, there was just a small couch in the living room smooshed right near the TV. You can see the selective photo on the website too! It was nice to have a kitchen but the lack of living space was a real bummer. The staff was also indifferent. There were constant problems with our breakfast order, missing valets (though the hotel did take that expense off our bill), and a lack of warmth towards guests. Overall, a mixed stay. read more

Our room was small, Television kept buffering, toilet leaked on the floor, no dressing mirror, very small closet area to hang clothes, shower was tricky to adjust, etc. Lots of little things that should be corrected. This hotel has great people but is in trouble. The hotel is utterly disorganized. I couldn't get an iron for my room, no standing fans, room service took an hour, room service order was incorrect, cold coffee served in the lobby both mornings at 730a. Finally the room number system is nuts. Every room has five numbers. Guests are confused, so is staff. Would not recommend this hotel. So many solid spots in Park City that have the basics down right. This hotel is really struggling to even achieve that. read more

Very disappointed. My bf and I were so excited to have our first ski experience in Park City and of course, who doesn't love the Pendry. We are the most easiest consumers and we've never complained at a hotel or restaurant no matter how unhappy we were with the service. BUT our two night experience here was a nightmare. First night, we dined at the hotel restaurant, KITA. Food was not worth what they are charging. We left very disappointed but couldn't wait to get up the next day to ski for our first time. Next morning, we get to "Compass" (where you rent your equipment at hotel) to rent our ski equipment. We told the gentleman helping us that we are beginners so pls direct us to the correct gondola. He then explained he would walk us over to the beginners lift so we had nothing to worry about. When we got off the lift, we were completely and utterly traumatized at how steep the hill was. We were at the wrong side of the hill for beginners. Long story short, my bf Miraculously got down the hill to get some help for me. I asked him to ask if someone can get me in a snow mobile because I could not get up myself anymore. 5 men in red jumpsuits with walkie talkies found me somehow but they pretty much just helped me ski down the steep hill. I was petrified cuz I kept falling but they made it seem like that was the only way I could get down hill. I was hurting in so many places and super tired of trying to get up every 10 seconds. The nightmare was finally over when we got to our rooms around 3:30pm when we realized no house keeping came by to tidy up! We were so tired we decided to lay down and order some room service before our dinner reservation but we found what looked like blood stains on the other side of my bfs pillow! So disgusted, we called front desk to complain. A gentleman comes by to say he's sorry for being late? Late to clean up? So confusing not sure what's going on here! Then to top it off!!!! The room service we ordered, Cobb salad, crab and artichoke dip, lemon and tea...when delivered, they brought the salad with NO DRESSING, they forgot the crab and artichoke dip, and no lemon for my tea. Not sure what happened there since the bill we signed for rhe meals had all of our items on there for $76.00. Luckily, this was only a two night trip so we leave tomorrow morning, BuT I would never come back here again and will not suggest for anyone to come here unless they want to seriously get injured while skiing, sleep in unwashed sheets, and pay for overpriced food, oh wait, pay for the food you ordered but won't get delivered. What a disaster. I forgot to mention that when the hostess sat us at KITA, she sat us at the farthest table right in front of the kitchen where the door was wide open and we could see everything! The restaurant was completely empty so why seat us at the worst table literally right in front of the kitchen where they have the door open?! We asked her why, and she just ignored us so when our server arrived, we asked to be moved to a better table. read more

I'm conflicted on this hotel. Theoretically the hotel has everything going for it. The property is beautiful, easy access to the ski area, the food with room service and the restaurants on site were delicious. The staff is very friendly and curious. We did have issues. Upon checkin, the first room we were given was not the room we paid for. They were able to resolve this issue by moving rooms the next day but its less than ideal. Multiple times we had issues trying to schedule room cleaning with our dog. We were not asking for service every day mind you. On the days we requested service, we gave the front desk a two hour window of when we would return to the the room, but when we returned it was not cleaned. It would be very easy for the hotel to notify us when the room could actually be cleaned. On our 5th night of 7 we were charged again for a room that we already paid for. It was resolved but at our own accord after checking our credit card and seeing an absorbent charge. I probably would not be leaving a review, but upon checkout there was a complete breakdown of communication. I realize that it was a busy time when we were checking out, however I requested a bellman to help with luggage and to bring my skis to the car. After finding the skis myself and shuffling most of my luggage to the car, a bellman was finally dispatched to help with the remaining few items. An hour later! The front desk "supposedly" let us know that it was busy, but we never received that notice. There seems to be some issues with communication between staff (or lack there of) and guests. For the $2k+ per night room I would expect a higher level of service. The way the hotel is setup they encourage the use of the valet, bellman, ski valet, housekeeping, etc, but when we left, it all evaporated. The hotel has been open for 10 months now. These are rookie mistakes that should be smoothed out by now. I'm sorry to say the entire experience left a shadow on our stay. read more

Pretty disappointing experience. We are locals that came in for apres. Wine list mediocre. We ordered 2 different flatbreads and the poutine fry's. The flatbread was bland and soggy. It tasted like a crappy frozen pizza. I would not be surprised if that's exactly what they were. The fry's were okay. Service staff were great, mostly. Bartenders seemed very overwhelmed. We spent a fair amount of money and we were still charged for valet even after we got our ticket stamped. Seems like an annoying way to nickel and dime guests. Anyone who lives here knows that parking at the Canyons is a pain. There is no upper parking and if you wanna come to dinner you can't take the gondola up and down at night. So all that's left is to valet. Charging diners to valet just seems so tacky. read more

Amazing new hotel! Went for one night to celebrate our 9 year anniversary. We were greeted with a welcome gift and personalized card to celebrate our anniversary. Drinks and food at the bar were excellent as well as the service. The shuttle to Main St is convenient for exploring the city. We had dinner at Kita which was delicious. Definitely recommend this hotel and we plan to return in the near future. read more

Very nice space! Have wanted to stay here for a while and the hotel space itself is beautiful. Have been inside a few times but it was nice finally to stay! The rates were affordable, parking overnight was very pricey and wish we knew the fee prior too $50 a night, and wish we knew of an occupancy fee? Which was around $50-60 as well. Not sure what that is or why it is assessed, wish they were more transparent with the fees. Overall it was a good experience, we celebrated a birthday and they had a fun cake inside the room to help us celebrate. They had a great gym, awesome restaurants, and a decent bar, lots of shops and things to do around as well. Definitely a space I would stay again! read more

What an incredible hotel! It was very clean, staff was great, and the rooms were big and designed well. We stayed here for the weekend in a staycation and loved it! The resort was dead due to it being off-season, but a lot of spots in the area were still open. The hotel itself is very nice and more on the upscale style. Parking is a little pricey at $50 a night and we were not aware of an "occupancy fee" when we first booked. Not sure what that is, a fee for actually showing up for our reservation? Isn't that the nightly fee already? Idk was confused and it was $60 a night. So nearly another night stay with that and parking. The fitness center is huge and they have great eats/drinks in the area. For a staycation would consider this place again read more

Really disappointed in what happened at the end of our stay last month. We stayed 3 nights at what I would consider a high end resort. Upon checking out, I mistakenly left some expensive clothes in the closet. I called early the following morning to recover these items. I was asked to describe the items then was told they would call me if anyone turned them in. I was surprised they would not be proactive in helping me recover them. I didn't hear anything so I called back a few days later and they said nobody turned them in. I'm shocked to find that such a high end hotel would not have a policy for their cleaning staff to alert management when items are left behind. The only possibilities are that the cleaning staff took the clothes, or that they didn't look in the closet and the person occupying the room that very same day stole them. Either way, I'm extremely disappointed in how this was handled. This stay ended up costing me double the room rate in stolen items. On principle, I will not stay at this hotel again. read more

This review is for Apres Pendry - we came to grab drinks and a light dinner after skiing. Vishal was our waiter and he was TERRIFIC! He was super patient with the 2 kids we had with us (even bringing the littlest one a stuffed animal as a surprise at the end of dinner!), he was kind about the restaurant being out of the champagne and red wine we tried to order, he got everyone's food correct (which is not always an easy task in our group!), and he really made it a very lovely experience. We hope he gets noticed for a job well done!! read more

Went there after skiing for drinks and appetizers, food was ok but the reason I'm giving this place 2 stars is because for the over priced drinks that the charge ..they had such foul smelling bus boys walking around with the worst body order. My friend and I thought it was something from the food but other patrons noticed the smell as well. I mentioned it to the bartender and she said it's gone all the way to HR but the company does nothing about it. Shame on this restaurant!!! read more

Stayed at the Pendry over 4th of July weekend, and wow - they amazed me. Fantastic service, great amenities, the steakhouse was very good and the New Mexican restaurant was even better. Our room was wonderful, the views were spectacular, the rooftop pool was a treat. The staff was excellent - my compliments especially go out to Jody (who in all honesty convinced me to book the place by emailing me a list of events over the holiday weekend and having the concierge email me a list of good hiking trails), along with Tyler, Brett, Star, Dillon, Doug and Aldo. Two stars because the room is super nice and clean and the spa was great. However, the food and customer service is lacking. When we first pulled up the the valet to check in, nobody came up to our car for around 3 mins so we just got out ourselves and unloaded our own bags while the rude bell / valet guy just watched, no smile, no greeting which is odd for a "5 star hotel". Next bad thing, the food is lacking. it is advertised to have 5 restaurants, dos olas, apres, pool house, kita, and disco pizza, all are obviously over priced and the ones that are actually open have super small menus. the website claims that pool house is open but when we checked it out, they only served drinks. Also, the disco pizza place was closed as well - we were not notified of this at booking / check in. Because the first two places we checked out were closed, we decided on apres. Out of the four people who were with us, none of us finished our food. The waiter took 20 mins to come over to take our order, and once we got our food and ate it we sat for another 20 to get the check. The pic is of the 24$ grilled cheese that claimed to have a variety of cheeses and sourdough bread, however, it's evidently white bread and the cheese is not even melted. Terrible service from the rooftop bar area. I suppose they consider it the "pool house"? The waitresses are inattentive the bartender Eddie seems that he has a few screws loose. What's the difference from a Manhattan and an old fashion? Ask him. Terrible service drinks take just less than a half hour. I wish I could leave a 1/2 star. Managers failed many times over and over. No coffee in the lobby at a four star location how is that possible? It's not. I know they will scrub this review to keeping a 4 star rating. Also drivers that they hired dropping us off at the wrong place leaving us out in the cold for over an hour. Our last drive they gave us a small SUV and made our daughter sit in the trunk with the skis. Then m partner asked to speak to the manager and he says are you summoning to intimidate him. And then I go downstairs to find out who said that to him. He lied to my face and said he didn't know. Fucking putz. Now I've been an executive at a st, Regis retreat. I know service this is not it a waist of our money. This is what happens when you hire managers that look the part but never did the job. We ate at Kita Japanese Steak house and Mountain Grill in the Pendry Hotel and it was out of this world. It truly was one of the best culinary experiences we have ever had. Specifically the grilled octopus, sushi rolls and miso sake cod were outstanding. The sake and Japanese beer selection was second only to the service. The atmosphere was fun yet elegant and quite enough to enjoy conversation. I would recommend without hesitation. read more
