Stopped in for apres-hike aperol spritz and wagyu beef nachos. Spring, summer, fall, winter, Montage delivers an exceptional experience every time.

This review is for a work meeting that I had and not as a guest however, I was able to walk the grounds during the time that I was there. The last time I was here as probably 10 years ago and the Lobby and upstairs area from the lobby has not changed from what I remember. The Casual Dining on the lowere level which has a mini bowling alley and pinball machines is now closed and reopens around 3 pm for Dinner only. The small Lobby Bar is what I remembered from my last visit where I had dinner one night. Beautiful Luxurty Hotel about 10 minutes down the hill to the Main Street of Park City where there are plenty of restaurants and bars.

What a beautiful hotel! Very, very large with a lot of amenities and fun things to do. Beautiful views of the mountains and great for skiing! Friendly staff.

We stayed here for a wedding and it was lovely. I've never been to Utah, and being in Deer Valley was an experience for me. Check in was easy and we were escorted to our one bedroom suite. The front room was spacious and had a dining table, sofa and fireplace. There was also a full bathroom off of the dining room. We had a balcony which had a Peak View of the lush green mountain and a table with two chairs so you could sit out in the crisp air and enjoy the amazing view. We were so busy with the wedding that I didn't even explore the rest of the hotel's amenities like the indoor/outdoor pool, spa, bowling alley or outdoor activities! We did, however, spend some time at Vista Lounge with the fireplaces and leather sofas. It was nice and cozy and off of the lounge they even had a separate library with a fireplace and chairs. There is a shuttle that leaves every hour to go to Park City downtown which is really convenient. The staff were attentive and friendly. I definitely want to come back to Utah in the winter and enjoy the splendor of the mountains and experience the skiing there.

Our stay here was spectacular as usual! We stay here once a year and we look forward to it all year! This year our room was phenomenal! We were in one of the larger rooms and I was so impressed with it! It was a little less clean overall compared to their typical hotel rooms, but we still had an amazing time! We enjoyed dinner in the restaurant here and went bowling and played games! We can't wait to come back next year!

The fanciest place I've ever stayed! Gorgeous views, lots of amenities and everything all in one place so you don't have to leave! The room we stayed in was stunning and so was the view! Service was great! Go experience this place if you can!

We had an amazing time. Even when something wasn't right they fixed it and made it right. We loved the room, the staff, the amenities, the spa etc.... Thank you for a great experience!! We hope to visit again soon.

This is what they call a "resort view" and charge $2700 for a literal dungeon

I never leave reviews but this one has to be said! They put labels of the view on rooms that are completely deceiving . The "room coordinator" Ramone tells me that this room is a resort view but our view is a literal wall! Because of the wall it's dark in the room. You're looking at a wall and they are labeling it a "resort view" and getting away with charging full price for it. Ira literal robbery! There isn't even a 5% view of a resort! The general manager looked right at me lying through his teeth knowing very well that's a the worst view you could possibly have in a hotel especially one that's charging 2700 a night! Ramone has no concept of customer service. He smirked at me while lying to me and telling me this is a "resort view" pretty sure he got bribed and gave out resort view room that we saw in a video sent to us before booking to someone else!

    View from our suite.

Deer Valley belongs firmly in the luxury family skiing category, with incredible grooming, excellent service, and an atmosphere that makes an already extravagant sport feel even more special. What I remember most is how easy and pleasurable the entire experience felt. The mountain was accessible, the lift lines were manageable, and the trails never seemed oppressively crowded. Every piece of infrastructure appeared to work as intended, allowing us to spend the day skiing rather than navigating logistical headaches. The grooming was especially memorable, with wide stretches of perfect corduroy that made it incredibly satisfying to settle into a rhythm and carve. One morning, I skied the glades with a friend who was far more advanced than I was. I spent much of that session right at the edge of my comfort zone, following him through terrain I probably would not have attempted alone. We made it through, had a great time, and then spent the rest of the day bombing groomers with considerably less anxiety. That combination of technical tree skiing and beautifully maintained cruisers captures what I love about Deer Valley. During these trips, we generally rented a house in Park City and drove to whichever mountain we wanted to ski that day. Deer Valley, Park City, and Alta are all remarkably close, yet each has a completely different personality and style of terrain. That proximity is one of the great advantages of skiing in Utah, especially when Salt Lake City International Airport is so much easier to reach from the mountains than Denver is from many of Colorado's comparable resorts. With a rental car and a little flexibility, you can experience several distinct versions of world-class skiing during a single trip. Part of Deer Valley's mystique comes from the hotels, even though I have never stayed at any of them. The Montage, Stein Eriksen Lodge, and St. Regis all look almost absurdly comfortable, and I can only imagine the convenience of waking up in one of those properties and walking directly into a ski day. I do have a particular fondness for the Bloody Marys on the St. Regis patio and the funicular that connects the hotel with the ski area. Even stopping there for a drink makes the resort feel like a full experience rather than simply a mountain with lifts. Someday, I would love to bring my children here and watch them experience skiing in a place that handles families so thoughtfully. Skiing is an extraordinarily expensive activity and a genuine privilege. Still, it is also one of the most exhilarating workouts imaginable and an incredible way to spend a day outside with people you love. Deer Valley combines that physical intensity with an unusual degree of comfort, polish, and hospitality. It has been a while since my last visit, but I remember the experience warmly, hope to return, and highly recommend it.

As an added bonus - no snow boarders! Restaurants are really good, too. This year, they added 10 lifts and gondolas, 100 runs and double the terrain. But the snow this week was better on the traditional ones. You can check your gear overnight for $20 either in a multiple day locker or basket check. Finishing 6th day here. Love this place!

Meaning if you stay one night and it's miserable- like for instance, you were looking for water all night because your room is 104 degrees with no air and you are parched and got zero sleep-they aren't going to refund you the other two nights when you check out early. They had the audacity to offer a credit. As if I would EVER come back for another night of HELL? Also, why couldn't we find a water station? I was literally walking around at 2AM looking for a place to fill my water bottle. We just flew in from out of state, Park City is high altitude and the place is a literal inferno. Hello. MANAGER: Thinks he is running the most exclusive, best hotel on earth. Offered us a credit for the two nights we wouldn't be staying after a night of HELL. He just looked at us with an aphasia and utter helplessness. Nothing he could do. Shampoos were toxic. The good: One star for being clean & I liked the implements in the bathroom.
