We wanted to do a facelift of our old outdated kitchen without breaking the bank, with new cabinets and countertop. Being well aware of high cost of everything in San Francisco, and our house being a very old 1980's construction, we had a tough job of keeping the project within affordable budget. For the project, we started by first finding a cabinetry place. We went with Timeless Kitchen, as they had good quality mid-price semi-custom cabinetry and also provides design service. Soon we set up a meeting with their designer Caroline. We laid down our requirements for the kitchen based on priority, and discussed with her. Our highest criteria was to make the best use of the space to increase storage and usability. Here was our Kitchen remodel Wants, which I dreamt for my kitchen from Pinterest. - Pull Out Drawers and Shelves for easy access with softclose drawers - Farmhouse sink - Lazy Susan for Corner drawers for max utility - Spice rack on one side of stove - Pullout garbage drawers for trash and recycle - Glass display cabinet with lighting - Appliances Garage to hide away microwave, toaster, Mixer, crockpot, coffee machine - Under cabinet lighting - Stove Backsplash for splatter free Caroline gave a initial rough draft of our kitchen with new cabinetry layout meeting all requirements and giving us the extra storage we needed. Then she visited our place to take the exact measurements, made the final design on which we sealed the deal. Then she went ahead to place the cabinet orders. It usually takes a month for the cabinet to arrive. Caroline pointed out a few great tips which every person planning for a kitchen remodel should keep in mind. 1. The dishwasher and garbage drawers should be adjacent to the sink for easy clean and dispose. 2. The standard height between upper and lower cabinets should be atleast 18" 3. There should be a gap of 30" between the cooktop and bottom of the cabinet above. Our house being really old 1980's, she was challenged with tricky problems like walls and floors not level or the roof being too low, so she had to figure how to adjust height of cabinets without being noticeable. Caroline had great suggestions to work around those issues, and displayed her skill and experience. The cabinets arrived on time and without any damage, in perfect condition. They also provided a lot of fillers. We were always kept informed. Coordination between our contractor and Timeless cabinet company went very smooth. Caroline directly reached out to our contractor and informed him of the exact date and time of the cabinet delivery. Based on the confirmed date of delivery, our contractor started the demolition work 2 days prior. On day of cabinet delivery he ensured to be present on the venue to confirm everything was delivered correctly. For countertop stone we checked out many places around the Bay Area and finally we chose a beautiful natural Quartzite stone from Artistic Stone Kitchen & Bath. We are extremely happy with how our old kitchen turned out. We now have a beautiful, modern and airy kitchen, with - a lot of storage - cool features like Lazy Susan, pull outs for spice rack and garbage cans, appliance cabinet. - pullout drawers to reach every nook and cranny, putting my misery at easy :) All thanks to our contractor for all his hard work, Timeless Cabinets for their quality cabinetry and design, and Artistic Stone Kitchen for the beautiful countertop, in making our dream a reality. read more

My husband and I marvel at our kitchen everyday, all thanks to Kat Tragos at Timeless Kitchens. We did our kitchen renovation in Mar through May 2019, so this review is long overdue. We met Kat in 2018- she showed us lots of different types of cabinets around their showroom and from the website. She walked us through the function of every cabinet, and patiently answered every single one of our questions. Kat was straightforward with information, but above all, was extremely patient as we debated every possible combination and option for our kitchen. This was our first time doing a kitchen renovation, so there were a lot of questions! The reason our project didn't take off immediately was because we did not have a contractor ready. Kat kindly let us know that she had several excellent contractors that she could recommend, but that they had ongoing projects and would not be available immediately. We were just grateful to have any leads. As anyone undergoing a renovation knows, finding a good contractor is not easy. A few months later, Kat contacted us that she had a contractor for us. We worked with Hoover Brindmore, and could not have been any happier with Kat's recommendation. Between Hoover and Kat, every measurement of our kitchen was down to eighths of an inch. When we ordered a new version of our stovetop and oven that was taller than expected, Kat revised the measurements right away and worked with our contractor to come up with a design solution to make sure everything would fit accordingly. Probably the biggest cost item when redoing a kitchen is the cabinets and we really wanted to get it right before spending any big bucks. Caroline met with us several times to get an understanding of our storage needs and color preferences for our new kitchen. She was very patient and did not rush us even when we changed our minds several times with our cabinet choices. She guided us through the many selections available and loaned samples so we could make comparisons before making our final decision. Caroline kept in touch with follow-up emails and phone calls and answered all of our questions with the initial drawings and configurations to the final diagrams and the order. The Timeless Kitchens staff was very pleasant to work with, as well. Caroline coordinated every step of the design with our contractor to make sure our appliances would fit correctly within the cabinetry. After many months of planning, the cabinets were delivered in time for installation. The cabinets are beautiful, they fit perfectly, and we are so happy with our choice. There was one door that came in damaged and Caroline ordered a replacement door as soon as it was reported. We are currently waiting for it to come in. I went to several cabinet design places when redoing my kitchen and was immediately impressed with Caroline Slain at Timeless Kitchens. Right from the start, she was asking the right questions and making suggestions to me that I never would have thought of. There were many changes and Caroline was always positive throughout the process. At one point, I had decided on a cutlery draw insert that when it arrived, was not large enough to fit all the cutlery that I have. Caroline traded it out for a sliding two level one at no cost -- even though it was more expensive than the first one! There were also several times that she or her colleagues came to the house to pick up or drop off sample materials. We bought our kitchen cabinets from Timeless when we did a big remodel. We had an excellent experience with them--they were one of the best vendors that we worked on the project. The cabinets are beautiful, they arrived on time, and they fit PERFECTLY. We worked with Kat Tragos, who was exceedingly competent in (1) helping us choose a design, (2) working with the contractor and architect, and (3) pre-measuring, which was a huge timesaver. Other vendors told us that they just couldn't measure until demolition was done. If you've done a remodel, you can spot the problem here--a looong latency between when the cabinets can be ordered, and thus arrive, and when the contractor is ready to install them, leading to project delays. Kat had it measured out perfectly and ordered the cabinets before demo started, which meant the cabinets arrived just as the contractor was ready to put them in. And, just to reiterate, they fit perfectly. Kat also helped us configure and choose the cabinets so that we could order mostly standard sizes, keeping custom work (and the cost) to a minimum. Kat, and Timeless, provided great service and a great product. I highly recommend them!!! read more

Cabinets are (mostly) installed - woohoo!!! It took about 5-6 weeks to arrive, as Caroline stated. Unfortunately, I did have some damage and a slight hiccup in sizing, but it was re-ordered right away and arrived within two weeks. I understand that during travel, it may be dinged here and there so I wasn't upset. As long as it was taken care of, without added expense to me, then we're all good. My cabinets look amazing and is exactly what was shown to me. There were no surprises and the quality is definitely there (I did do the plywood upgrade - good decision). The staining is even and I don't notice any darker/lighter spots. You get what ya pay for! Fantastic experience with TK and Caroline! I went to these folks about two years ago now and have been meaning to write a review since then. Timeless Kitchens is great! My biggest mistake was not using them for my entire kitchen remodel. I used FloorCraft who, when it comes to designing, I would not recommend. Although some others may be a little cheaper, they are not worth it. This is likely a space you will be living with for a long time. FloorCraft was about 10-20% cheaper, but I wish I had gone with Timeless Kitchens. The design help was practically non-existent at FloorCraft. Sad, as the kitchen guy is a very nice guy, they just don't have those skills. Timeless Kitchens has many years of experience designing beautiful kitchens. If they have questions or want opinions, the office works together to get each others opinion and advice to get you the best kitchen they can. It's nice to see - people working together. Also, my neighbor, respected contractor and friend, Garrit, said, when I mentioned Timeless Kitchens "Oh ya. You want to use those guys. They're the best." A year or so ago we remodeled our Noe Valley flat, including completely gutting our kitchen and pantry (which later became a half bathroom-yay!). We thought we could design the kitchen ourselves, but quickly and smartly realized we'd be better off going with the professionals. We had always planned to get our granite from Felicity and TrueStone (their sister company that we also highly recommend) but didn't consider Timeless Kitchens until Felicity suggested it, and I'm so glad we did. Working with Kat was such an easy and pleasurable experience. She produced a solid design we liked, making good suggestions along the way (one being if you're trying to cut costs, go to Ikea for the flatware trays). We had a picture of some cabinets from a design catalog that we liked, but didn't want to go the custom cabinet route. Kat helped us create a more economical version that was still true to the spirit of the original design. She also recommended lazy susan cabinets and other neat cabinet features like that. I also appreciated all of the time she spent prepping for the arrival of the cabinets (measure twice, cut once). She even took the extra step of meeting with our general contractor in an attempt to subtly screen him and his technical abilities. I really trusted that if Kat didn't think he could do a good job installing the cabinets that she would have told us. Luckily, he passed her secret test (sorry Peter if you're reading this!) Though I'm not sure if I would install white cabinets again, as they do get a bit knicked up over time, we really do like the cabinets and the design of the kitchen. I feel horrible writing a bad review, but want to share this as a heads up to others. I can't rate our experience, because Kat told us that she wouldn't work with us. We have a total kitchen remodel budget of ~$50K, of which we allocated $10 - $18K for cabinets and counter tops (also including plans for contractor to work off of). We had met with a couple other cabinet stores prior to me reaching out to Kat at Timeless. I shared with her all the work we've done to date, including several scenarios for the kitchen that I got priced elsewhere. I asked if she would draw up a plan and price cabinets/counters based on only one scenarios we were evaluating. She sent me an e-mail saying that our budget was too small and that it was not ethical for her to work on a draft plan given that we were talking to other cabinet companies. I called her to clarify what we did that was unethical. Basically, she didn't want to put time into getting our business because we were competitively shoping our kitchen design/cabinets. Everyone else has great recommedations about Kat and Timeless Kitchens, please don't discount their ability to create a great kitchen, but do be careful if you have a tight budget and want to competitively shop. read more

Caroline, the manager/designer at Timeless Kitchens has just been terrific! We are in the final completion of our renovation, where we built 2 Kitchens, 3 Bathrooms, a dressing room and a laundry room. Caroline, did a wonderful job of implementing what we wanted in each of these rooms. Our main kitchen is just a piece of art, while being very functional. Our smaller Bar/ Kitchen is very swanky! Our master bath is beautiful with a fancy floating double vanity. The dressing room perfect, lots of storage and highly functional for the 2 of us. Our experience at Timeless Kitchens was fantastic, their product choices were in abundance. I have to say that we could not have done our project without our Architect, Michael Mullin, he really helped with our floor plan as well as the overall layout. I would also have to say that Bryan Birmingham our General Contractor has done and amazing job for us. He installed all of the above, while turning our old house into our home. If we had to do it all over again, we would hire everyone back. We have had a very good experience all the way around. read more
