We loved our experience working with Bay Area Cabinetry. The cabinets are beautiful and the team is great to work with. From the beginning to the end, we had an excellent experience , starting with ordering the cabinets with Felix, then Dasha made sure that everything fit perfectly with our appliances, and Vitaly/ Boris made the installation process go smoothly. Vitaly installed our cabinets and his commitment to details made a huge difference. The small things really stand out -- for example, Vitaly made sure that all of the cabinet pulls lined up perfectly. We love our new kitchen, and are

We did our research for cabinets and glad we went with BAY AREA CABINETRY. They also came highly recommended by a friend of ours. From beginning to end, we've had excellent experience designing with Felix, and the installation and customer service with Boris was also great. Despite Covid, we were able to have everything delivered in good time. They're also always very responsive and easy to get in touch with. We have quite a large kitchen and the team of 3 installers worked diligently for about an entire week. QUALITY of cabinets is great. The face is thick, and the hardware smooth. We're super pleased with the end results. I'd buy from them again, not just for kitchen and bathroom cabinets, but also custom closets as well.

Product, service, design, functionality--we couldn't be more pleased! We love our new cabinets and enjoyed working with the helpful and knowledgeable Bay Area Cabinetry team. Truly a cut above and highly recommended. They offered a choice of custom made cabinetry in their well equipped shop or custom made cabinets from https://www.cucinelube.it/en/. We chose Italian as the price was good and unique not available locally finishes and ended up getting a wardrobe style closet and also Miele appliances as well. Without hesitation Bay Area Cabinetry should be a first pick!

I used Bay Area Cabinetry for my kitchen and I'm very happy with their product and support. My prior kitchen remodels were off the shelf and simple so Boris and Felix helped me through the process of ordering custom cabinets. These cabinets were pricey and took a couple months to receive, but in my opinion worth the price (I should mention I took a few months to meet with different vendors). If you're shopping for custom cabinets I'd highly recommend these guys. The only thing I regret was not using Bay Area Cabinets for the install. These are custom pieces and I wouldn't recommend using a standard contractor. My contractor made some small mistakes affecting the design, but I imagine that using Felix/Boris the end product would have been even better.

We can't thanks Bay Area Canintry enough for building these nice cabinets for us. Other than the beautiful kitchen cabinets, they also help us built many wall-in cabinets around our house. Their service and price are very reasonable. I did many researches for European cabinets before I work with them. Their price is out 50% less than my other quotes. And they are very easy to work with, lots of materials to select from. Highly recommend!!! Would totally come back when I can afford another house. :)

My wife and I very highly recommend Bay Area Cabinetry and Felix, Boris and their team. I am a very fussy client - an engineer, handy person who has a very detailed eye. These guys surpassed all my expectations. Indeed Boris is even fussier than me when it comes to details. Bay area cabinetry did our Kitchen. They were highly recommended by a friend. We had looked at various cabinetmakers and we zeroed in on these guys because they had a fantastic selection of materials/colors especially if you want a modern Italian/European style kitchen. They also do a traditional style. We found their price to be competitive. During the design phase Felix was very patient with us - it took me long time settle on the colors. When Felix started to draw the final design plan it became evident that he was looking after the details on how the drawers and doors lined up across entire kitchen for good esthetics. There are two details I remember: (1) How to best squeeze in an additional pull out for oils and spices while still keeping room for our under the sink space for garbage. Felix came up with a good solution. (2) My wife wanted an appliance garage at the corner, which wasn't the best way of utilizing that space, but Felix ended up offering my wife what she wanted. Later during installation we realized that some of Felix's reservations for doing the appliance garage were right on - Luckily Boris dealt with the details make it work. Boris and this team were superb for the installation. Boris has an incredible eye for details. I remember three things. (1) for one part there were two options and Boris asked me if I had a preference. I said lets go for the easier to install option (I am a handy man). Boris said, "if you don't care either way then I will go with the other option that was harder because the outcome will have better esthetics. (2) The Miele installer had installed the refrigerator with poor alignment, When I told pointed this to the Miele team that the gap was wider on top vs bottom he gave me the BS that the Cabinets are off my 1/64th . Luckily Boris happen to come by at that time and call them on their BS saying that they were off by much more and that his company has done refrigerator installs and he knew was he was talking about. The Miele guys backed off and finally did the right thing. Boris helped us on two other area related to Miele issues. In one area he went out his way to add a special metal plate to deal with a narrow countertop ledge due to the size of the Miele cooktop. At every stage Boris wanted o make sure everything was just right. He did not take shortcuts. The end result was fantastic. Our friends are wowed by our kitchen. Indeed the City inspector who came for the final inspection said "wow" as he entered our kitchen Summary: Good quality cabinets with good choice in material and colors. Competitive price. It was great working with Felix on the design and choosing the actual finishes. Now they have a professional design person who helps on color and design. Fantastic installation - Bros will look after all the details - he is fanatic about doing things right. Of all the projects I have done in my house over the last 30 years, Boris is the only guy who has exceeded my very high expectations. No brainier to use Bay area cabinetry for the cabinets and installation. Also I would use them to do the counter top installation

On the last visit (Labor Day 2025), I'm not sure if there was a new employee, or if the person at the cash register was just having an off day, but the lady working the register was incredibly rude. I'm sure some of my questions weren't that hard, however they were questions that, had they gone well probably would have resulted in some good sales. However, the individual couldn't be bothered to look up or get off the computer or phone to help in a meaningful way. Additionally, my wife asked a question about a mirror and whether or not it was recommended to hang or not, and she just said, "did you look at the back?" in a rude tone. It was clear she didn't want to help us (or maybe she didn't want to be at work on this particular day). I'm hopeful that this was a one off event, I'd still like to think it was just this particular worker that was off. I think we'd visit again, however will go out of our way to not work with that individual. In the end we passed on spending a good chunk of change (in our eyes) because this individual couldn't bother to get off her phone/computer or help her customers. We will give it another chance, and hopefully the next time we're in changes our view. Incredibly disappointing for a store we used to love.

This feels like terrible marketing and customer service to not make it right or attempt to. Do not buy this product if you want a smooth recline and are looking for the leg and head recline to be independent of one another. It's not comfortable. The only thing it's got going for it is it's beautiful. I wish I would have never bought this because now my only option is returning with a 50% restocking fee. I purchased this chair with GoFundMe money so this is no small price tag for me and it seems like terrible customer service and marketing to not make this right.

My experience dealing with Carlos was great, and I'll definitely be a repeat customer. I've been following their website for a few months now and they consistently have interesting, affordable mid-century pieces rotating through their inventory. I think they said there are updates on the site every 10 days, but the RSS feed seems to have something new every two or three days. Since there isn't a storefront (it's run from a storage unit in Portrero Hill) this is the best way to check out what they've got on hand. I ended up going to meet Carlos at the storage unit for a pair of lounge chairs and a dresser. Normally I'm extremely hesitant to purchase furniture sight unseen, but everything I saw in person was in such impeccable condition that I regret not putting down a deposit on the dresser - by the time I showed up the next day to check it out, it had already been snagged by some lucky jerk (Carlos had told me that someone had put down a deposit on it earlier, so I knew this was probably not going to work out). Instead I had to "settle" for just the chairs, which look fantastic in my place. He even wrapped everything up in plastic wrap for me since the person who had my Zipcar truck the hour before me had apparently used it to transport their collection of dirt.
