We started the trip with what I can say was a can't be beat resort stay here. We each had our own king rooms that honestly almost made me hate my own home. From the start of the stay pulling up to the security gate and getting greeted with so much energy and friendliness then being handed a rosemary bag to bring you into the mood. Immediately I knew I would love this place. The valets were great. The lobby staff were great. I was at the resort for two days and I swear I never touched a door to open. My room was ready early which was a bonus and the room. Again just great. Spacious. Ultra clean. All the amenities you could want. Fridge bar area. Fireplace. Sliding double doors to a private patio overlooking a fantastic golf course. Giant bathroom with separate soaking tub that was divine. I could review the golf all by itself. Super nice caddy Jack who it was a pleasure to spend the day working alongside and perfect weather because it can certainly get hot out there. We had a catered private lunch and then we had dinner in the bar area and everything was, you guess it, perfect. I will be back it's just a matter of when.

We also got the dark chocolate to snack on and that was good too. Beautiful winery and the grounds are immaculately clean. It wasn't very crowded which is nice and luckily we brought our low chairs to sit it. Just an FYI - I looked at the website before coming and it did say that they do provide folding chairs for their shows and we can bring our own as long as they are the low 4" or lower off the ground type and not the 14" ones from the ground with a built in cup holder which are the ones I have. Luckily my friend has the really low ones and she brought those. Much to our surprise they did not have any chairs on the grass set up at all - which was completely different than what's written on the website. So it was a good thing my friend brought hers. May be a good idea to update the info on the website so people coming to see shows here are aware of what to expect and come prepared. Thank you

It was the perfect spot for our group, not too hot, not too cold, with a light breeze coming through. The views were lovely and the freedom to roam onto the courtyard patio was a plus! The Event Coordinator, Miranda, was a pleasure to work with. She was flexible, accommodating, and clear with all arrangements. The ease of having everything done in-house was absolutely wonderful for me. I just showed up two hours before start-time with some decorations and favors, and everything else was already set-up and ready for me. The service was stellar... everyone knew the bartender's name by the end of the night (thank you Elliot for taking care of us) and everyone raved about the food. It was not only delicious, but aesthetically pleasing and plentiful. Everyone in attendance (and even those who missed out) are still talking about the event. My husband had the best time and said it was one of the highlights in his life. Thank you to Coyote Creek for making that moment happen for us!

The faux leather seats on the cart really heat up under the sun and they transfer the heat very efficiently to your posterior, so be careful. We played the Valley course. It was very long! Lots of 400+ yard par 4 holes. It lies entirely within the southern Santa Clara Valley, so there's little elevation change, but the views are still rather good. I liked the relative lack of hazards, so I didn't lose too many balls. The fairways and greens are in quite good condition, and the greens played somewhat fast, with lots of challenging slopes. The fairways are somewhat narrow, so errant tee shots from other players can hit you if you're not careful.

Coach Kelly was highly recommended by many of my friends. Consistently, they described him as chill, laid back and a great teacher. My wife and I booked a private session with him. We met at his house and he has an indoor golf simulator. On session one, we worked on grip, hip rotation and hinge. On session two (3 weeks later), Coach Kelly worked with our rotation, power shift in the hips and our follow through on the swing. From this point on, we will take individual lessons with him. We've incorporated everything he taught us and are making micro improvements as we continue our golf journey. Scheduling was simple. Prices very reasonable. And that man is Hawaiian! That should tell you enough about his personality. I highly recommend Coach Kelly!

My daughter was a complete beginner that wanted to make it on her girls high school golf team. When she first came to him the summer leading up to her junior year, she didn't even know how to properly hold a golf club. By the end of her senior year she was captain, made it to BVAL as a solo player and fell in love with the sport. Coach Kelly was so patient with her, encouraged her and because of his knowledge and teaching style allowed her to grow so much in such a short time. I highly recommend Coach Kelly to anyone looking for a coach.

We worked with Emily, Theresa, and Kelly, and the team is very communicative during the planning process leading up to the wedding. Very easy to customize exactly what we wanted for our wedding. Also highly recommend DJ Brian - he has such a natural personality fit for this and was so professional!

*Review based on my impression from the venue tour*…read more First thought : wow, this surrounding view is nice. The drive to get to the venue after passing the gate reminded me of the other wedgewood wedding property I went to earlier in the year - nice houses, golf course, greenery. I can't follow directions and in an attempt to follow the instruction from the email, we went through the wrong entrance (aka side door), so for a few min it felt like we were playing escape room to find the phone that we were supposed to call. However, if you follow the instructions right, you should be able to see the fireplace right when you open the door. It's a nice grand entrance. The interior area is pretty nice, although it does look dated if you look closely. However, I feel like the layout didn't suit the vision of what we want for our wedding day. As for the ceremony area, I personally thought the indoor version looks/feels nicer than the outdoor version. The outdoor one would be easy access from the parking lot though. I loooved the bridal suite/getting ready area. The groom's suite was nice and spacious too, but has locker room vibe with hoops. The person (wedding expert) giving us the tour was very good at selling us the vision, giving detailed info, etc. As opposed to touring the venue first, eagle ridge gave us the run down and "sales/informational pitch" first. The sales pitch is v important for wedding venue shopping, so no negative connotation there. We ended up choosing a different venue: one main reason was the fact that we can't try the food first. We didn't feel comfortable locking in to an all inclusive venue that doesn't allow outside catering. The menu options look good enough, but how does it taste???? It would suck if we end up not liking the food during the tasting and having to settle for a "I guess this is fine because we have no other choice". We were ready to pay to be able to have the chance for trying out the food first. Unfortunately, that was not an option. The other reason was the fact that we don't have much getting ready time. If I remember correctly, you only get to go in the suites 1-2 hrs before start time. The club is only open to the members prior to that. Idk about other brides, but I personally would need a lot more than that if I'm doing makeup and hair there. The timing might be okay if you only plan on changing into your dress there.

Post-wedding review: venue was great…read more Coordination/answering questions regarding wedding planning was great. It was a bit annoying having to fill out the DJ forms several times and repeating similar info, but I understand we were caught in between them switching systems. Not everything was perfect, but nothing in life will ever be perfect. It was raining on the morning of the wedding, so we were very close to having to switch everything indoor. We made the call at around 2:30/3pm for a 4pm ceremony, so naturally some seats were missing and the staff had to shift things around last min. The staff graciously let us into the venue an hour early because the weather was not great. We had originally planned to start with the makeup service outdoor first. Venue's indoor bathroom toilets was not clean when we first entered. Good thing my bridesmaid checked and we were able to inform the staff before guests arrived. They took care of it immediately. I do highly recommend having a second coordinator, or have someone in the wedding party as well reversed in the wedding schedule/plan as the bride. There was mixed information at a point, and that resulted some confusion during the photos with friends and family at the alter. As a person who plans/organize/coordinate event for work occasionally, I couldn't help but felt the urge to push things along at several times during the wedding to keep the schedule on track. (Ie: vendors were supposed to eat at 6:30, so they can be ready to serve desserts/do photos at 7pm, but I had to remind the staff again. It's understandable that they wanted to wait for the vendors to be settled in first, but I really wanted to make sure things were on schedule since we only had 2 hours booked for the dessert vendor.) The DJ was good, but he did ask us questions on the day of. Some of those questions could've been redirected to the coordinator, but I guess he wanted to make sure. I did wish he asked some of the questions earlier since we had guests standing in front of the mansion & the wedding party was ready to make the grand entrance, but we were waiting for the DJ to ask questions and then make his way to his station. In the grand scheme of things, it was fine, but I was hoping for guests to do less waiting while doing nothing. The tabling layout was a bit off centered from what I had originally planned, but it was too chaotic on the day of to actually check and make adjustments. I was told that they needed to leave the space there originally so they can move things around, but that they will readjust the tables afterward. I did not have time to check the table after they did the first adjustment. As for the hor d'ourves, I was told that they'd prepare a separate plate for the bride and the groom, but it was actually a separate plate for the whole wedding party. I don't think we got enough for everyone because my husband and I only got to eat one out of the 5 we chose (we paid for extras). We did have to leave for photos immediately and asked the staff to put them in the bridal suite for us. My brother stole/ate a few of them while we were taking pictures, so I had to ask for more and they only had chicken skewer left...and it was cold.

They even gave me a discount which I'm truly grateful for. Claire our coordinator was very kind and helpful. During planning process we emailed many times. Then Christina( her manager) would take over. Christina was nice but I got a vibe she knew best. Felt rushed at times and communication felt insincere. I understand the time line was a quick one so that's not their issue. I knew they wanted to help. The food was delicious including the desserts!! We tasted the whole menu at the Granda a month prior. The food is excellent!! The decorations were completed by Luxe. Savannah who was very patient and met with my daughter and I twice to review. Quite pricey. Table centerpieces beautiful. Stairway was pretty. All decorations beautiful. The seating chart was done last minute and Christina did a wonderful job! I really appreciate Leal helping with last minute DJ and allowing an outside karaoke last minute. They did not need to do that, and they did! As far as the night of party lighting not so great. It was like a spotlight was on you. I had asked and a few others had asked about lighting. My daughter's theme was Midnight Enchanted garden. Way too bright. Willow heights allowed balloon company to come in early to help with balloon ceiling which was a super plus! I had hoped for a coffee station. Even though it was shared it would be there it was forgotten. S'mores area was darling but maybe a few low seats would have helped so kids could sit around fire pit. Dj Darren was great however I had hoped for him to help get the teens to dance. Maybe a dance off? My daughter hoped for that also. He had added some personalized touches which everyone greatly enjoyed. The staff was kind and helpful. This is not leals issue but it may have helped for coordinator to recommend photos outside with tea lights and fountain during night hours. I didn't think to ask photographer and photographer left before I could ask. I emailed a few times after event and no one responded. Would help to send out an after event review form. With that said I would book again. I'll just be more in advance and I'll be strict with asks.
