This is not the experience I received from Aide. One year and three sets of hair later and my hair has almost completely been destroyed and broken entirely in half due to improper procedure and placement. I'm so glad that I was approached by an ethical professional whom actually cares for the health of the hair and the satisfaction of the client. The method of extension which was "strategically chosen for my specific hair" was one that ensures damage and my faithful return so that Aide could maintain the flow of money coming from me instead of maintaining any sort of health for my hair. I was on the phone with her while my new stylist was doing my hair and she says the quoted information above as well as,"the method chosen for you requires that you come back every 4-6 weeks to avoid damage." To which my new stylish replied, "So the method chosen was to ensure that she's in your salon paying you every 4-6 weeks regardless of the effects it has on her hair?" Her only response,"you're not being very professional." So it's unprofessional to be honest with a client when it comes to your money Aide? I never would have taken you for being greedy. I had dinner prepared for your family when your grandfather died and this is how you treat me? I'm nothing but a white lady with money? Let's not forget that every time I've visited Aide for anything, the price has gone higher every single time. She is professional, quick, and knowledgeable. She uses quality products like the Dyson blow dryer, and she offers all the services a REAL hairstylist should know how to do (i.e. she shampoos, conditions, blow dries, trims, cuts, dyes hair, etc). I went in for an iTip install for the first time. Corrine was nice, very quick, and diligent. What I liked most is that she would tell me what she's going to do each step of the process, and she would check in with me to ensure I was comfortable and that the extensions felt comfortable in my hair before proceeding. At the end of the install, she made sure to have me check for any discomfort so that she could fix anything if that was the case. She's amazing at what she does so I didn't need any adjustments. :) The other thing that I admired is that she offers a lot of different hair textures, colors, and lengths so that ANYONE regardless of hair type can be serviced. She chose a hair extension texture that matched my real hair texture flawlessly, you would think it grew from my scalp! All of the hair she provides is RAW human hair. The quality of the hair is impeccable. I haven't had any shedding, tangles, etc. The hair is FULL from top to bottom, and it feels good! I highly recommend purchasing hair from her only! I had a bob when I went in so after installing the iTips Corrine made sure to give cut/layer my hair so that it all blended to perfection!! That's a true stylist!! Roughly 1-2 knots released each wash after 2-3 months primarily due to heat exposure to the knot itself. Clip ins were used around month 4 at the top of my head to cover any exposed knots due to new growth. During takedown normal shedding occurred and matting at the knot was removed with a rat tail comb, oil + conditioner. Highly recommend wake up and go style wish the price was cheaper. Definitely looking to return during the winter months.
