They close at 3pm, so it's a little hard when you typically work until 4:30. The staff were all extremely nice and pleasant. I was very surprised with how much meat was on my Italian bagel. That thing was loaded down. It was a million times better than the sandwich I posted about yesterday from South Charleston. I probably could have eaten two of them, lol. The potato soup was quite tasty, too. The sandwich, soup, pop, and a tip came to around $12. I wanted to try the week special, three cheese grilled cheese, but they were out of their homemade pimento cheese. I love me some pimento cheese. Hopefully, they'll offer that special again soon.

The Colonel (a big tea aficionado) has been holding board game events there on Saturdays about once a month. I recently had a quick bite of lunch there with a friend. They serve an astonishing number of teas in a variety of cups. Keira will explain everything to tea novices, and you can get single servings, double servings, or a pot. They have white, green, red, black, and herbal teas. Then they have hot grilled cheeses, cold wraps, deli sandwiches, and cookies and brownies for dessert. In addition, they have fun lil tchotchkes for sale, Der Sprossling bought an articulated wooden dragon toy recently for his mantel. Follow them on Facebook to keep abreast of the variety of activities going on, including tarot readings and other New Age events for body and soul.
