I particularly like their in-store events - usually around a Holiday - they serve beverages (spirits) and hors d'oeuvres - low key - like a party. The staff is there & well informed - no pressure to purchase - but really eduational and sweet. We went to 47th st diamond district in manhattan it was like being with sharks in bloody waters, and a few other locations all terrible. Had just moved to the town of stony pt and we said let's try local and sure enough we found jewelry gallery. Thank god we did...it was pleasant from start to finish. Tammy sat down with us a few times, made a few different wax moldings of what my wife might of had in mind, was never out to make a sale, was never pushy and from the first sit down told us if you purchase from me awesome, but if not it was my pleasure to show you diamonds and inform you on them. I went in to size my $3000 Michele watch which was brand new, with the plastic cover still on. I asked the woman how long it would take to remove the links, she let me know that it could take up 30 minutes or more depending on how difficult it is. She was set on the fact that it would take 30 minutes minimum, and insisted I come back to pick it up. I didn't feel comfortable leaving my watch there so I told her I would wait. The process took under 10 minutes which was very odd to me. she gives me back my watch and I notice 2 scratches on the links. I was really upset and confronted her about it. She was very thrown off (not in a good way) but still refunded me back my $10, with an attitude. She tried polishing over the scratches but they didn't come out. Theres no reason I should be receiving my brand new watch back damaged. read more

Warning!!!! Warning!!!!! Warning!!!!!! I purchased a diamond from Tammy Block Rosen, the owner of the Jewelry Gallery, in 1999 for over $100,000, which came with a GIA Certifcate. We recently found out that the diamond doesn't match the GIA Certificate in any way! We have attempted to allow Tammy Block Rosen to rectify this unbelievable situation, and she has ignored all of our requests to do so. I implore anyone who has purchased a certified diamond from her, to have the diamond analyzed to ensure that it matches the certification that you purchased.
