This is a must stop if in the area! A cozy restaurant you'll find down the stairs. The food and service were fantastic!

Medium rare prime rib with baked potato

The quintessential steak/prime rib restaurant. Great atmosphere, great service, and great food! The piano bar is an added bonus. Warm rolls on the table, choice of sides and reasonably priced beef choices compared to other places. Just an enjoyable delicious night out!

First time dining here and it was lovely! What a cozy setting - old world steakhouse charm - great for date night or a special occasion, or when you need a high quality meal! Parking is available on the street, next to the building, and extending behind the building. The space is not handicapped accessible - there are stairs to access both the restaurant (downstairs) and the party space (upstairs). There could be an elevator, but I did not see one. There are M/F restrooms on the lower level that accommodate more than one person. I recommend reservations, even during the week! Upon entry for dinner, go down the stairs. There is no hostess stand but someone will come over to greet you. We did not have a reservation but we're welcomed to sit at the bar. Kiera is a great bartender - polite, efficient and proficient - she made me a fantastic Cosmo (see pic) - and is a wonderful server too! She explained the special and which desserts are house-made. I always ask about desserts first so I can plan what to order (do I leave room for desserts or not?). Most of the pies are house-made, but definitely ask because at times they have dessert specials too. We both ordered steaks that were prepared exactly as requested, and were reasonably priced. My petite filet mignon was so tender and perfectly pink inside. The au jus that came with it was a bonus. The green beans were fresh picked and complemented the meal well. Hubby had a porterhouse (t-bone) cooked rare and he said he would definitely order it again. Bread was served with the meal. We also had the stuffed mushroom appetizer and it was delicious. No room for dessert but we took some home. We will make a point to stop back in soon. Thank you!

We have frequented this restaurant many times and they never disappoint us. Last night we spent our New Years Even at the restaurant. We started out with stuffed mushrooms followed by a prime rib dinner. The food and drinks were delicious. Mary was our server and she is the daughter of the owner. She made sure we always had anything we needed. We were not rushed and enjoyed listening to the piano music and singing along with the music. Mary brought out party favors even though everyone else had left the restaurant. We celebrated New Year's early and sang a final song with Sue, the pianist. If you want a cozy, friendly family owned and operated steak house this is the place to go!

While the entrees tasted good, there was a lot left to be desired with the overall experience. We tried the pork chop and the seafood platter. The seafood platter was disappointingly small for the price. My side salad was comically small and it appeared to have very little effort put into it. I had a singular cucumber piece and three measly grape tomatoes (two of which were bruised and old), and the lettuce was wilting. The service was horrendous. The hostess was rude and our server gave us very little time. She did not introduce herself once and the only time she stop to check in on us was when walking by. In this instance, she did not even slow her walking to the point where we could make any comment about our food. When ordering food, she seemed very aggravated by our questions about the menu (we asked two questions). She also gave us a condescending attitude when my partner was asking about the beers offered on the menu. Four different people walked passed our empty water pitcher that we had placed at the edge of the table and it took a long time for this to be acknowledged. During our meal, we felt rushed as the server and hostess tried to take our plates with food on it. The hostess even tried to take my partner's beer out of his hands while he was drinking it. The establishment was not busy at this time and there seemed to be no explanation for the rush, especially considering it had only been an hour since being sat. While normally we do not care about service as much, we felt extremely disappointed with this experience. We watched our server treat other patrons with much more respect and time. Being the only non white guest in the establishment, we couldn't help but wonder if race played a factor into our experience. What was the worse, when I called two days later to speak to the manager/owner about my experience, the lady answering the phone gave me a nasty attitude and made snarky side comments. Considering the price and fine dining label of this place, I was shocked by our treatment here, and will probably never come again.

    Amazing!!!!

We came as a larger group and they were nice enough for us to order from the breakfast menu as they switched over the lunch menu at 11:30am. Our table enjoyed the food but all agreed it wasn't worth the price point. I tried the chocolate croissant with homemade butter and maple bacon jam along with the Canadian bacon Benedict. The chocolate croissant was nice with the maple bacon jam but definitely not worth the price point of $12. The croissant was quite smaller, like the chocolate croissants you can get from Costco or Starbucks. The Canadian bacon eggs Benedict however was delicious and I really enjoyed it! I just am not sure again it was worth the high price point. However I definitely felt the service was missing. As we were the only ones in the dining area, I felt the service was missing the mark. The server saw we were carrying a baby in the restaurant but didn't ask if we wanted a high chair. My mother-in-law spied it in the corner and then we had to ask for it and we proceeded to set it up at the table. As I was with 2 young kids, I ordered some simple items before the main course like their chocolate croissant and fruit cup. I assumed the server would ask if we wanted those ahead of time but that didn't happen. He also had forgotten my son's drink order and which my son actually had to ask him after some time "where's my juice?" My older son had ordered the s'mores waffles and it looked good when it was delivered but as I cut some of it for me to try later on, I soon realized the batter was uncooked in the middle of most of them. I was thoroughly disappointed he had eaten some of it before I discovered it was uncooked. The server throughly apologized and they remade the order which in the end, we ended up taking home with us. They also didn't take the order off the check for us which normally that would happen. For such a classy restaurant, we would think they would know how to make waffles and for more top-notch service. I think next time we will just enjoy the nice views and choose to eat somewhere else when we are in the area.

From the moment we sat down at a high-top along the bar (10/10 decision upon making the reservation), everything just clicked: warm ambiance, buzzing energy, and service that was genuinely friendly without feeling scripted or rushed. The staff made us feel like they were happy we were there--not just doing their jobs. Now let's talk food, because wow. We kicked things off with the Wagyu tartare (luxurious, balanced, melt-in-your-mouth) and duck croquettes (crispy and well balanced). For mains, my son went with the 24 oz prime bone-in ribeye, and I ordered the 14 oz New York strip--both cooked exactly how steak should be cooked. Perfect temperature, beautiful sear, deeply flavorful. Sides were shared and spectacular: roasted thyme mushrooms, potatoes au gratin, and creamed spinach--which may very well be the best on the planet (I will die on this hill). In the spirit of full honesty, when we come back (and we absolutely will), the two items we'd rotate out just to try something new would be the duck croquettes and the potatoes au gratin. Both were very good, but everything else we ordered--and clearly much of what's still on the menu--has an even higher ceiling of potential, and we're eager to explore it. Dessert sealed the deal. My son demolished a crème brûlée with appropriate birthday enthusiasm, while I tackled the caramel carrot cake, which was decadent in all the right ways and not overly sweet. In short: food, service, and ambiance all exceeded expectations--by a lot. If you've never been here: go. If you go occasionally: go more often. This wasn't just dinner--it was a celebration done right. We'll absolutely be back. Note: while their classic steakhouse menu, with some pizzazz, is perfect... My only want for this place would be for another appetizer selection or two that does not contain any sort of fish/seafood as we have family members with sensitivity - and we were hesitant to order the famous house made chicken nuggets with caviar as we are still finding out the range of foods we need to steer away from.

I ordered the fresh cut for my cocktail and the steak frites for my entree. While I waited for my entree, I was served a complimentary roll. It was soft and pillowy. The fresh cut was refreshing and light, while the steak frites were good. However, my steak was cooked to medium well instead of medium, as I had ordered. I really enjoyed the fries. Overall, I enjoyed my dining experience at Patron Saint and look forward to visiting again to try some other items on the menu. They also offer complimentary valet parking, which was convenient.
