My daughters and I rented a house on Loon Lake in July and really wanted to come here but time was against us. We came back in August from Maryland and HAD to come to Station 26! It was wicked busy with a private event on one half of the pub, but everyone was very attentive and friendly. The food was AMAZING!! The pretzel app was great and felt freshly baked! My youngest felt her wings (BBQ) were one of the best she has ever had (that says alot since that is all she orders anywhere) and my oldest loved her pasta! Huge portions! Great family owned restaurant located up on the mountain side with indoor & outdoor seating available. There's a jukebox inside to play music off your phone to set a mood. Small located in the front but we decided for one of their tables inside. The staff were very nice and the food was very filling. My turkey sandwich was stacked high with fresh meat and the chipotle sauce gave it a little heat. We're from the Syracuse area just traveling and saw some reviews on this restaurant. My son and I had the most amazing two meals. My friends, 3 dogs, and I came here after a hike at Stony Brook. tbh it's in the middle of nowhere so my expectations weren't high. Wooooow was I impressed! They have an outdoor patio with an awning and an entire yard with games and picnic tables. The dogs could run around or be in the shade as they pleased. Amazing. The food was fresh tasting and deeeeelicious. We had pickle fries, mozzarella sticks, and white garlic pizza. I also had a cesar salad with no chicken. All of us enjoyed our meals. Our first time there since the new owners and makeover. Prices seem fair and the new owners bend over backwards to make sure you are happy. A great little spot, The food is outstanding the owners are always on site and willing to talk and joke around with you , bartenders are awesome and the patrons are easy to talk to even if you've never met them before. Their chicken wing pizza is to die for. I look forward to going to Wayland every weekend to our place on loon Lake and it's always on our stop every time we're in the area. We stopped in on a beautiful Saturday afternoon with our dog, Lucy, who was welcomed onto their lovely outdoor patio. Our server, Christian, took excellent care of us. What a find! We had business in the area and wanted a good, hearty breakfast. Station 26 lies a short mile jaunt off Exit 2 I-390. We entered a comfortably lit, cozy atmosphere, clean and spacious with many tables from which to choose. A woman directed us to sit where we preferred. She quickly brought menus and took orders for beverages. The breakfast menu surprised us with Egg Frittata, Eggs Benedict and Corned Beef Hash, as well as the more typical breakfast fare. My Egg Frittata was perfectly baked, and surpassed the definition of hearty. It filled my plate and tasted delicious. My husband chose the Corned Beef Hash and cleaned every speck from his plate. I think he liked it, LOL. We not only hope to catch breakfast there again, but now we're curious to try lunch of supper. read more

I got the side salad and they make thir own Bleu cheese dressing its Excellent. Rest of the group all got burgers and all raved about them. Stopped in for the first time ever last week and it was so good I've returned three times! The staff is amazing, the owner is very friendly and attentive, plus the food is great! It is rare to find an owner of a restaurant that cares enough to be a presence in order to insure fine dining. And fine dining it is! Possibly the best burgers on the Southern Tier! Went for breakfast, had the country fried (chicken) steak and was amazing. When you cut into it, it looked like actual chicken breast not mystery meat you get in other places. Visiting my home town. Found there was a new restaurant. Which used to be a bar! Burgers and wings were great! I had a cob salad which was good but my avocado that was in the salad was bad!
