I don't usually leave bad reviews, but this was my experience; called Saturday, spoke to a nice young woman, she said there was an opening on Monday at 3:00 PM. Great, I booked that 3:00 PM and got a confirmation. Been waiting here today (Monday) since 2:55, sign says they are open at 2:45 back. Tried calling a couple times, door is locked and has been the entire time I have been here. It's now 3:30, no signs of anyone. I took time off from work to come here for a 3:00 PM appointment. Left a couple of voice messages, could not reach a live person. At this point I am giving up. Very disappointed with their customer service. At least three other customers have tried to get into the practice since I have been here. read more

I give this location a solid 3 star review. It is usually fairly easy to get in to be seen, but the issue is that you never know who you will get with a chiropractor. I came here during my pregnancy because it was a fairly easy location to be seen at, but I could tell that not every chiropractor really had great practice with pregnant women, especially as I got further along, like at 8 months and someone asked if I could lay on my belly...umm no. Dr. Sommers was great as was one of the male chiropractors, but I cannot recall his name. Sometimes waits were very long and they often had issues with their toilets. Overall, it's an alright place to go, but I've had better care at other places. read more

I usually see Liriam Ramirez-Ortiz D.C, who amazing and is very covid conscious and always follows covid protocols, yet she wasn't working on Saturday. Since Dr Ramirez wasn't available I saw Dr Brett Saintaubin, who was NOT following covid protocols. He did not sanitize his work station between patience. He also did not sanitize his hand before touching each patient, Dr Sanitaubin also kept pulling his mask down. Dr Brett is putting everyone who walks in the door at risk at catching covid read more

Highly don't recommend these services. I went in to get an adjustment for pain in my neck and they ran a special. The adjustment took only 5min. Was surprised but thought maybe because I was a special but after they convinced me to monthly of 4 adjustments and planned on going the following weekend. Got an email that office would be closed that weekend. Not only that but 2 more other weekends they again sent an email that office would be closed again. I finally was able to get another adjustment and again, 5 min long. NOT WORTH THE COST! I intended to cancel my services and never got notification of upcoming month charge until I got bank notification. Reached out to cancel services and get refund of charge. Was told I had to go in person to cancel. Asked to speak with manager and was only given an email. Sent email asking for refund because I no longer wanted the service and still have not got response. read more

This specific location from recent experience always has an issue. I have been a fairly new customer signed up for the monthly care plan, which is 80.00 per month. You can get 4 adjustments in a month. Ok , so the first two times no problem getting an adjustment. The 3 rd visit they were closed due to air conditioning issues. They should have put this notice online for that specific location so customers can go to another location. Next visit I got there 45 minutes before their lunch break and was not greeted and was getting attitude from the girl that worked the front desk. She didn't give me time to ask any questions she just came out and said we won't be able to get you back there until after lunch. I asked her why ? She preceded to say that there was another customer before me. Which was ok if I was going to have to wait a few minutes . Long story short that location has major attitude issues and a clear difference of treatment per culture of individuals . I have changed locations to the one on coors near Montano Blvd . The female doctor by the way was very knowledgeable and adjusted my neck and back that was accurate and targeted the areas I needed adjusted. They are always consistent and very professional and pleasant. I am so happy with the doctor and the front clerk . The clerk and doctor are wonderful. I will not be returning to that location on 528 st 109 specifically. There is a weird energy and vibe in there. The way I was treated last month was rude and uncalled for. I am a very patient person and greet everyone with kindness . I have recommended that specifics location to family and friends. I do not usually recommend unless I know they are consistent,effective and fair priced .The joint corporate office however is not current and does not answer the issues or complaints that customers have. I totally love this place!!! When I called for my first appointment the lady told me that they take walk ins, so you can just go in anytime and they are open late like till 7pm. I had a short wait and then got my full adjustment. The Chiropractor I saw was super friendly and was going over different problems with me while he was doing the adjustment. He showed me a few exercises to help me with my difficult areas. You can tell that this is his calling and that he loves what he does because he is very passionate about helping you. When I was done the lady at the front desk went over the plans that they have with me. I ended up choosing their 2 mo plan for $59 a mo. which included 8 visits, 4 a month. Any additional visits are $15 extra. Folks this is an amazing deal if you need to go for a bit to fix yourself up. If you just need the one time they have a first time special of $29. Single visits after that are $39. Also they have 3 locations so you can use any of them w your membership. read more

I like the concept of The Joint, but it just doesn't work for me (at least not this office). Here's why, if you care to read on. First impressions: Had a really difficult time getting in for the first visit, and was in pain for an extra week, because the first visit takes longer which was completely understandable and I just couldn't get to the office early enough to be seen. Not their fault, but that did start my experience off on the wrong foot. I require an x-Ray to follow up on an old "early stage diagnosis, and while the doc agreed, they don't provide them there. Just inconvenient for me. I'm not really comfortable with an open concept exam room space, I guess I could get used to it, but I don't think it's ideal. I signed up for a membership and lost one because I failed to make the time to get in; but when I was able to make my way to the office it would have been a considerable wait. Big let-down: Due to my chronic back pain I made an appointment for an evaluation with a specialist offering a natural alternative for pain relief. I requested my records be shared with the specialist three times over the course of a week with no action, which resulted in my appointment with the specialist being bumped back five days (more unnecessary time of me being in pain). In closing, I found my experience with this office frustrating and disappointing and I wouldn't recommend it to a friend. I have been to the Wyoming office and will try there again (maybe not on my lunch break as the one time I tried that in this office it would have been a 45 minute wait and I only have an hour and have to drive about 5 minutes). read more

Total crap shoot on decent or bad chiropractors. Inconsistencies on effectiveness with each chiropractor. The best part is when you decide to cancel and told you have certain amount of visits left, but they don't tell you up front is that you lose your visits within so many days. They say they close at 5:00 pm Saturday's but when I got there a few minutes before they said they were already "full" and couldn't see me even though I was there during the hours they were open. I like the concept of the Joint and give it 3 stars for providing affordable chiropractic care. The problem is that the doctors don't stay very long. The doctor shortage causes the office to be closed on certain days. I prefer the Corrales office because of it's location, but have also gone to the Wyoming office. I really appreciate the excellent doctors, however, the last doctor that provided excellent care has left. Some doctors are really good and some, well, I wouldn't want a second appointment with them. I would give the Joint 5 stars if they could keep good doctors on staff. I hope the corporate office will address this issue. read more

This was our First time coming here. 1st off I must say from the reviews we made the extra effort to come to this location. I wanted to avoid traffic & go to the east location. But changed mind after the reviews from other patrons. So took the long road ((only because of the rush hour traffic))I am happy we did. The front desk lady was super helpful An knowledgeable. She even took time to play w my son as we filled out paperwork. The dr was awesome in just feeling the quirks I carry in back. He got me an fiancé in working order an will return to see him! What a racket. #TheJointChiropractors I called and made an appointment .. iI was told if I could to get there early I would get in easier. I got there early. Then I was told that current "members" may be seen while I'm waiting as my paperwork has to be processed. I'm cool with that. Problem was There was only one other person there at the time. While I was finishing up my paperwork. My paperwork was done and a family of 4 and another person showed up. Then another family of 4 and another person show up. I ask the girl at the desk am I next after 45 minutes and she said, no I had to wait for everyone else. My paperwork had been processed and they still allow everyone else in first. NOT A GOOD FIRST IMPRESSION. Customer service tip, it may be less expensive to market and keep an existing customer. But a bad first impression is priceless! read more

I went to another location initially but they didn't have any doctors in at the time and I thought "why would they be open if there was no doctors?" So the lady at the other location sent me to this one. When I first walked in I was greeted by a receptionist that seemed way too "chill" to be representing a professional facility. I'm a new client and I would think that a receptionist should have to talk properly/ professionally to guest. I understand that they're trying to make you feel comfortable but talking to me like you know me is what makes me uncomfortable. Another incident with the receptionist was when I was filling out my paperwork my FIANCÉE came in to fill out paperwork too and in the process of me finishing mine, she was flirting with him and he said he felt like she was too. VERY unprofessional if you ask me. She never said a word to me but proceeded to ask questions and give information about plans towards my fiancée. We were able to be seen together by the doctor but my fiancée said that he did a really bad job and he didn't feel any different. Also he's been to way better chiropractors before so I trust what he has to say. For me it was my first time to ever see a chiropractor and he was able to get some pops out of me but they were simple stretches that I do at home. He also pulled a muscle in my neck when he was tugging on my head and my neck was in pain the whole day, I had to ice it at work. This was such a waste of time and money for me. I had a way better chiropractic experience in Thailand at a MASSAGE place. I might give "the joint" another chance though but at a different facility with a different doctor, never again am I coming to this specific one. read more

I'm extremely concerned for all people who come into this office. I visited this location last week with my mother. The doctor was sick and coughing. When asked, he said he was out sick the previous day. I watched carefully and the tables were NOT sanitized between customers. He had people waiting in the back and as soon as one person was finished the next got on the table, NO sanitizing in between people. I was absolutely appalled considering the current health crisis. I asked the staff and they said that they were trying to stay open as a "necessary" medical service. As far as I know, this is a "maintenance clinic" with 2 minute adjustments which means people should NOT be exposed to such risk at such a dangerous time in our country! Please do yourself a favor and stay clear of this health risk! For a place that says they are here to help with "health," they are putting so many people, elderly and vulnerable populations, at risk. This is a chain chiropractor, I wish corporate would do their part and shut this place down while we navigate this health crisis. I can only imagine how many vulnerable people across the country are being put at risk. I advised my mom to cancel her "wellness plan" and return to a different chiropractor when it is safe to do so, a chiropractor who actually cares about her. Their constant emails say that our health is priority, but my mom's health WAS NOT priority during her visit. Please protect your loved ones! read more

I went here for the first time today because I was in some pain from my hip. I must have slept wrong because when I woke up it just hurt to walk, like my hip just needed to pop. When I explained that to the lady chiropractor I saw she looked at me like I was stupid. I was very friendly in trying to explain it to her but she wasn't very friendly back. She just kept insinuating that I needed to go to the hospital. So I finally snapped at her and said look I just need my hip popped can you do that or no? She said yes laid me down and used some little thing on my hip, gave two pushes on my back, and pulled on my neck lightly and said ok get up. When I got up I cracked my neck and my back myself and straight told her I did a better job. My hip did a little pop so it doesn't hurt as bad but there was nothing in that appointment that I couldn't do at home myself. Waste of time and money. I don't recommend this place unless you want an unpleasant visit for $35 or more. read more
