This place is not a real chiropractic place of business. They make you sign a 3 month contract. After my 1st visit I never went back. Because my visit consisted of a 2 min "adjustment" by a very young person who I don't believe even had a degree in chiropractic's. I've been to a real chiropractor many times and the visits were 30 mins minimum. No exrays we're done. No real questions as to why I was there. And obviously no solution to my neck pain. I pulled up next to her after 5 min and asked if the location is open. She said "yes but we closed at 7. I asked why they closed early and she said "I don't even know what time it is". This was my first visit ever to see a chiropractor. I have chronic back problems and wanted to try something new. I had this pain in my back recently for about 2 weeks and I tried everything to get it to go away and it just wouldn't. I did not want to go to my regular doctor just yet... So I saw the $27 first visit offer, had a day off from work and decided I try something new. This place is located in Town of Brookhaven Plaza across from Marshalls and Cotsco (could be Sams * I always get those two confused). Parking is free, but you may have to park in an adjacent lot ... I walked (as a walk-in) in and I was immediately greeted by a nice, smiling, front desk clerk. I was going to pay out of pocket then I saw a sign that they accept FSA accounts (Gotta love it, very convenient and I don't have to pay out of pocket really)... I filled out all of the paper work (which took longer than the visit and wait), and the Dr. called me back. He confirmed my history with me. Told me a little bit about the facility and his history. What I really liked is how comfortable he made me feel and his bedside manner... Given this was my first time going to a chiropractor I had no clue what to expect, he thoroughly explained what I should expect for the visit, the days to come and future visits if I choose to return. After a few moments of the background info... He accessed me from head to toe; without me really going into depth about my pain, he told me my problem spots and why.. HECK he even said one leg is a little short than the other causing me to get unaligned easily... Doctors really haven't been able to tell me why I have back issue really other than suggest *LOSE Weight*, however my back issue stem from childhood. Not did he make me feel uncomfortable or say anything to make me discredit his knowledge. He *unfortunately I forgot the doctors name* took a 3 mins and literally used the table and his hands to pop me back into place.. Immediately felt the difference. * I did not feel sore after, I felt relieved*. For the first time going, I was hesitant on buying the package deal, but I will return soon to get it as I can tell the difference now when I am aligned and I am not... Not happy with service! Signed up for monthly program and after 3 sessions with 3 different doctors got no relief and just get pressured in each session that lasted 5-10 minutes each with no initial X-ray to find out what the exact problem was just I need to come more frequently and talking about maintenance program before even having any succes. I called to cancel and they refused to cancel program unless I go in person to fill out form and after going in to cancel they then tell me it's a 2 month minimum so i will be charge for 2 months! Was not told that when sign up 1 week earlie! they are all about getting you in and out quickly and securing continued treatment rather than helping you fixing the problem! read more

To be fair, Dr. Brad is very good. He really listens to you when you explain what pain you are experiencing, and then he's very knowledgeable about how to fix it. What I DON'T like, is how they handle payment. They accept health savings payments, but they require automatic payments. If you want to discontinue these payments, you need to jump through a lot of hoops, and if you are lucky, they will agree to stop the payments. I stopped going here and wanted them to therefore stop the payments ($60 a month), but they never did, and I continued to be charged for their not received services. I lost hundreds of dollars here due to them not stopping the payments. Upon checking with the bank managing my HSA, and was informed there was no way to stop the payments on my end. After seeing my money being repeatedly stolen out of my account, I had the card replaced, so they wouldn't be able to auto-charge my account. Please, think very carefully about what you are doing before you go here. read more

VERY SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICES - Whatever you do - DO NOT use your HSA or VISA card to pay for any service at this franchise. They took a one time fee out of my visa account and then proceeded to charge me additional monthly fees for 9 months!! When I asked for them to return the additional funds, that they took without my permission, they returned 3 months worth and then proceeded to use the VISA company policy to keep the rest of my money. I called the company headquarters in Arizona and was not called back, I sent letters to the company and have yet to receive my money, I have sent emails to the franchise and these have been ignored, and I sent a complaint to the Better Business Bureau. In that complaint this Joint Franchise said they would be "glad to give my money back per check" - and that was over a month ago. DO NOT TRUST!!! I AM STILL WAITING FOR MY MONEY!!! read more

I really enjoy the convenience of the Joint Chiropractic chain, I really like this location. It's super convenient and I really like the way that Brad puts me back into place. I've been many times of the day and days of the week and I've never had to wait more than 15 minutes. And I come pretty often. There isn't necessarily a personal touch or care by the practices, so if you are looking for that, this may not be the location for you; I personally do not need that, I do not have to have a relationship with the person putting me back into place, but for the plan and the price I do get what I need with the flexibility of locations and timeframe. The only con is that the quality of the locations varies pretty greatly. I went to a location in California on vacation and the girl was not able to even crack one of my stress points, but they were a brand new location. read more

So, yesterday was my first visit to The Joint located in Buckhead. I have seen multiple chiropractors in the past, and being a hairstylist I have chronic and undeniably awful back and neck pain that just never goes away. Today I saw Dr. Samir and he talked through all of my issues with me, took his time actually getting to know a few key things about my life that would impact my body and then he began the adjustment. Constantly asking if I was in pain, if the contact was okay and making sure I was comfortable... so I was very comfortable! I was scared I wouldn't be, due to the multiple tables in one open room, but this was a great and quick and effective service with a very professional chiropractor. He put me on a plan to return twice a week for a few weeks and then once a week for routine maintenance after that. The monthly price is $59 and includes 4 visits!!! So once a week for a monthly charge of $59?! You simply cannot beat this deal. I also just got a follow up call from Dr. Samir (day after my first appt) to check on me and make sure everything was okay after my initial adjustment. I am wowed by the customer service and professionalism of this establishment and can't wait to go back! read more

I came in for my first visit today, and the sign up process couldn't have been easier. They have a first-visit special that reduces the price of a visit, and they ask you some basic questions about your current condition, any pain, and medical history. The chiropractor quickly determined how my spine was going, adjusted me, and gave me some recommendations to help improve any pain I was having. After being referred to BRAD upon arriving in Atlanta and being in pain from my plane ride. I explained how much pain I was in from when I was assaulted nearly 3 years ago, left with damage to my TMJ, neck and back. He chatted about himself and showed me a video of how gentle he was with a baby. So I felt confident he would be gentle. While on the table he tells me he played Hockey and I think he thought I was the opposing team. He pummeled me like I've never been handled by a Chiropractor. This was on last Friday, I have been in bed for four days now in severe pain and can't even get a response from them. I feel like I have broken bones, and it's hard to even breathe. Freakish clientele line the interior cracking knuckles, rolling thick necks and popping limbs out and back into place, a grim forecast of the "treatment" to be administered by "Dr. Brad." Not much is known about "the doctor," some say he's informed by thousands of years of practice in the dark chiropractic arts. Others say the same hand that heal hundreds of men have killed thousands more. The most gruesome was account offered by a former disciple, now committed to a mental hospital with severe emotional trauma: he alleges that the Doctor when confronted by a rival, responded by twisting the doomed man's head off like a Coca-Cola bottle cap WITHOUT EVEN TOUCHING HIM. So I got talked into the $39 monthly....it was ok first month then had car problems and started to miss weekly appts. Missed weeks are not given back to you and so it has dragged on for 6+ months at $68 monthly..hard to cancel and last visit was on 27th...was told before it was the 28th....So I went in on 27th was ushered back for 5 min treatment and was charged $39...then was offered Flex plan $19 month + $15 ($33) whenever you showed up....No bargain and Not worth it..Go to real doctors with out monthly scam plans to steal your money...Just when I was. about to send my Husband..Not ever going to happen....Beware read more

Had been overbilled and asked for a refund. Was told there was no way the owner would give me a refund. They committed they would correct the issue the next month and overbilled me a second time. Informed me that they had to send a ticket to get the price corrected. Went in for another visit and a different person told me they would make sure it was fixed this month And I would be given 2 extra visits. Went in yesterday and was told they don't do anything for free and she didn't know why I was told that. Called me back today to tell me they were refunding me the $20 overpayment (2 mos $10 ea) and that they would not be able to update my rate to the $59 rate that I should have been getting because the new rate for Veterans is now $69, which is exactly what I had been asking for which was why they were refunding me to begin with. Office manager said they had no control over the decision as it was from corporate. I told her that's a terrible way to do a customer, but I'd have to bow out and ask that they not reinstate the monthly contract. Initially I was happy with my visits but after a few months seems to have been change in doctors. Each one has their own way of doing adjustments. I've started to feel as my sessions were starting to not help and wanted to stop going. Of course it was my fault because I thought the reoccurring payment would only be charged if I was going but apparently that's not the case. I called to speak with Jason in hopes that they would be decent and refund the latest charge seeing that I didn't go for the previous 3 weeks and that I wasn't planning on going for the current month. Instead of trying to rectify my issue he persisted to tell me how that's my fault and that I should have notified them earlier. That there's nothing they can do. I think this is just bad business because I've expressed my dissatisfaction with my sessions and my desire to longer use them. Jason obviously only cares about the bottom line, not about the clients and their concerns. I suggest anyone thinking of going here to go find a private practice where they actually try to determine what is actually wrong before starting adjustments. My neck and shoulder wasn't hurting prior to coming only my back and now I have additional problems after letting these doctors do a generic adjustment that they basically do to anyone who comes in.
