The chiropractors knew just what to do and temporarily lessened two areas of pain that I had accepted would be there stabbing me for my lifetime: behind my shoulder, the trapezius and rhomboid muscles, very crunchy, and exhibiting surprising trigger point reactions. I had never felt an easing of pain since the accident that caused it, except with the occasional narcotic. This was miraculous for me; I realized I'd have to go back for tune-ups,as the fix is not long acting. But it's totally worth it. The second condition is a recurring nerve pain from my lower back that travels down my leg. Sciatica? The doctors did something with tools and tapping, and this pain lessened, too. The cons: I had to practically pull teeth to get any information or instructions, or guidance of any kind. I want to know about everything that was happening, but their lips were sealed. This is huge for me; I must know. I will have to find someone else with a fountain of information who recognizes that I'm a patient who is psyched to hear everything, and I absorb it like a sponge. I have been to different Chiropractors over the years and have an idea of what a good adjustment feels like. The facility is very clean and the staff is very friendly, no issues there. You are in and out in less than 3 minutes. The adjustment they give you, it's a minute long. It's a very generic, quick, and extremely mediocre experience. Every session is exactly the same. I'm not expecting a massage, thats very different. When they asked why I was canceling my membership, I told them it was too quick and it didn't really make a difference for me. Second Chances Well I received a telephone call from Dr. Kelp invited me into the office to receive an initial consultation after my not so good experience over the telephone in trying to schedule an initial appointment. I must say in attending the office visit, I found it to be delightful, informative and not to mention complimentary! I am pleased to say that Brittany and I "made friends" as she really is a very nice young lady yet an extremely busy young lady as the flow of patients frequenting the office is fast paced and ongoing so I can understand how much multitasking it takes to maintain the front desk and yes I will be returning! read more

The clinic is really efficiently run, and very well priced (considering they don't take insurance). I was able to get an appointment right away, which I really appreciated since I'm in a lot of pain. This place had great reviews, so I was thrilled to get in, thinking I'd be feeling better and more mobile soon. The problem is that the adjustments itself was a total waste of time. I've been going to Chiropractors since I was a kid, and have a pretty good idea of what to expect, and how much difference one adjustment could make. I feel badly for the doctor who saw me, she was very nice, shocked at how much tension was in my back, and did the best she could. But she could barely get a crack out of my back, did almost no adjustments, then said "I can't help you anymore because you're too tight, come back tomorrow and maybe you'll be looser and we can try again." This clinic seems fine if you have very minor discomfort and just want a gentile back crack. If you have any real medical issues, go somewhere more sophisticated. read more

I've been coming here weekly for a little more than a month due to my back, neck and hips being jacked up from years of treating my body like an amusement park ride. On your initial visit there is some paperwork to do but should take you about 10-15 minutes. From there, you'll see one of the chiropractors and they'll take the time to get to know you and what pain you have. It's really thorough and they give you a detailed plan on when you need to come back. As a Veteran, I was able to get the 4 sessions a month wellness plan for $69 a month. It was a no brainer. I'll pay that monthly to feel great when I leave. Plus, you don't need an appointment! Want to know what it feels like when you're done? It's like walking on pillows. You feel taller, lighter, and a heck of a lot better. The team here is amazing! Everyone is friendly and they go above and beyond to make sure that you're taken care. I have been going to the chiropractor since I was a baby for alignment issues, and then when I was 16 I broke my back. So I really have been to my share of Chiro's and the folks at the Joint, specifically Dr. Burdman, are among the best in the biz. They are so kind and attentive to your needs, while also being fairly quick and easy. Their system of paying a flat rate for the month and then having a certain amount of visits that can be at any time, without an appointment, makes attending the chiro a lot more feasible for the working class. Not to mention, there are over 600 locations in the country so you can literally visit one even when traveling. Their prices are INCREDIBLY friendly for all. At all other places I have been, WITH my insurance, I would pay around $30-40 a visit. At Joint I pay $79 a month for 4 visits. All that being said, visiting Joint is seamless, super quick (I am in and out within 7 minutes usually), and really enjoyable. And believe me, I am PICKY about my Chiropractors. read more

If I could rate 0 stars, I would. The adjustments are not tailored to any specific person. My three colleagues all signed up and had different issues, but we all received the same 3 adjustments. When we signed up, it was not shared that the wellness plan would be a recurring payment. In fact, my itemized receipt says it was a one-time payment. The doctor is very rarely the same person, so several times I walked in and the person asked what I was there for instead of looking at my treatment plan. There are way better chiropractic offices in Baltimore that actually treat pain. read more

This is definitely a business first rather than a health care facility. I should've known so the $23 new patient offer going on that I'd get what I paid for. Going to the back to see the doctor, he asked a few general questions. When I got started at a previous clinic, the intake was MUCH more thorough, taking pictures standing/sitting to assess posture etc. but after a bit of talking I was on the table without any of that. The worst part--it was SO fast and rushed! Usually the doctor will explain when/how they adjust, suggesting to take a deep breath in and on the exhale they'll push. Luckily I'd been adjusted before and I wasn't nervous per se, because the doctor just started PUSHING on my back without any warning or warm up! He adjusted my neck and upper and lower back in less than 60 seconds, maybe a minute and a half, literally. It was so rushed unlike anything I've experienced or witnessed with chiropractic care. On my way out, it was assumed I'd sign up for the monthly plan (~~with 3 free visits included, special TODAY only!!!~~), which works like a gym membership. I said I'd just do the one time $23 visit and think it over after the holidays, trying to be polite. The receptionist then asked me "well what's stopping you?" LOL I couldn't believe it. Again, clearly a business trying to push sales first and foremost rather than truly consider and care for a person's health needs. read more

This was my first time here and I'm super bummed that I found out about shortly before I move back home to Florida. I was in and out even as a first time visitor. There is some paperwork to fill out upon your first time, but after that, it's a breeze. Each of the 4 sessions breaks down to $20, which is like paying a copay through your insurance. The upside is you don't have to deal with the headache of going through your insurance!
