I used The Joint in CA and just moved to SC. I was in a lot of pain the last two days because I threw my back out of alignment sleeping on a bad mattress. I could not even walk without limping. I went to see Jeremy today and within 30 minutes of leaving the office, my pain had disappeared and I was walking normal. I highly recommend him and The Joint. It's nice to be able to walk in without an appointment when you're in pain and need help immediately. read more

Dr. Jack is my husbands go to doctor. He had a sciatica issue going on for a while and went to see Dr. Jack. Complete treatment not just a few cracks and move on, he spends a good amount of time with him and tries to cover all that my husband is suffering from. He felt better right away. read more

Recently I went to The Joint in Pace because I needed immediate pain-relief care, and another recommended chiropractor didn't have an opening for a week and a half. I was really glad I took the plunge and went into the joint! Dr. Sutherland took care of me within minutes of my check in, and I began to heal and feel better right away. I like The Joint when it comes to service, price and more. It is great that you know that you are not going to get fleeced on a chiropractic bill. This location is no different than the other three that I have been to with my fiance. I highly recommend The Joint to everyone. The only reason I take off a star for this location is the ambiance. The Pooler location has a lot of light coming in and the lobby is nice and bright. This location is darker than dark. It is like Dracula is going to come out from nowhere from behind and suck your blood. That, obviously, does not affect their service. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would!!! I called to be a first time patient. Told them what was going on with me, and after being asked if I had been any accidents or had any previous alignments (which I had not) the guy on the other line sighed, and put me on hold. Then after being on hold for about 10 minutes, I was told I needed to see a doctor before I got an alignment. I wasn't even trying to use their first time $29 offer. I was willing to pay full price. It seems to me like they do any and everything to not accept patients. Guess they're a "discount doctor" for a reason. read more

Denied adjustment/service until updated X-Rays are brought for evaluation. I have had several walk-in chiropractor adjustments throughout the years, at different businesses, and always explained that I was in a minor car accident...my car was "bumped, with no issues...three years ago", I also showed the Chiropractor at "The Joint" prior X-Rays, I had saved to my phone from my veteran affairs appointments but still wasn't able to receive care. Although it may not be relevant, by trade I'm an X-ray Tech as well as have been in medical care/a medical environment for over 26 years...totally know my body and really just needed my hips aligned. Regardless of getting new X-rays, I'd rather support another chiropractor business, than return to "The Joint"; however, regardless of the lackluster customer service I do truly wish the establishment luck during COVID/the upcoming influenza season and highly suggestion updated customer service training. read more

Dr. Shaw is incredible. I've gotten adjustments before and hated it. Not this time. He was very thorough but also gentle at the same time. He listened to what I needed and took care of the problem. I was just passing through the area, but if I am ever back, I will be sure to get another adjustment from Dr. Shaw because he is an amazing chiropractor. The best I've been to! Thank you! read more

Was not satisfied with this location at all. My husband and I both came in for an adjustment. The problem area I was considered about was not fixed and hurt more after. I even explained to him that the area felt the same and had not been fixed yet, and he just moved onto my husband. He just said that it will take time. My husband and I both went to the another joint location in the past. The chiropractor at the other location was always able to fix the problem and I felt instant relief. Something else we noticed was he only adjusted our back and neck and the problem area I had. The other location we went to worked their way through the whole body, head to toe. We felt rushed and felt the same as when we walked in. The women at the front desk wasn't very friendly. We will not be back. read more

Stay away from this place!!! I went into the Bluffton, SC location with my $29 offer. The woman behind the counter was reading a magazine. I found out when she answered the phone, that she was the chiropractor. She looked at my printed voucher with a look of disgust, asking what it was. After I told her I received this online offer, she asked " have you had chiropractic work in the past", "Hmm, so you're under a chiropractors care?" ( Several years ago). "Have you been in a car accident?" ( yes , over a year ago, but Im not here for that). Anything to avoid seeing me- yet there was nobody else in the office. She told me to come back after my accident was resolved, . It appeared like she was going to keep asking questions until she found a reason not to treat me, and to be honest, after this initial encounter with her, I don't think I would have allowed her to touch me !!! I'm glad I wasn't treated by her, and if I were you, I'd think twice about letting a discount chiropractor work on you. Anytime an office want you to keep coming back for adjustments, something is wrong !!! They cant fix your problem , but they try to milk you for the money. Too many manipulations can make your tissues and joints lax, which is not good. Beware of these things. read more

Very unhappy with the way this place handles their business. After telling us that we could not get out of my husband's six-month contract even though he never used it, we decided to honor the contract. When six months was up, we called and asked when we could cancel. We were told that we could cancel on Sept. 4. My husband called on Sept. 4 and he was told that in order to cancel, he would have to come in on Sept.5 to sign the paperwork. When he did so, he was told it was too late and that he should have come Sept. 4. Meanwhile, they went ahead and drafted another $50 out of our account for the month despite knowing that we wanted out of the contract. They then said that it was impossible to stop the transaction. This is a terrible way to do business. Whatever you do, don't let the sales people talk you into a contract, because apparently it takes an act of Congress to cancel it. read more

Don't be fooled. They offer a "special price" but you have to sign a 6 month agreement. Signed the agreement only to find out I was still being billed after the 6 months. When I called I was told I have to come in to sign that I don't want billing to continue after the 6 months. When I go there to sign, the form states they will bill me again for the next month because the require an advance notice not to continue. Stay away ! read more
