Batson's assistant met with me first; he was kind, respectful and asked all of the necessary questions. Prior to coming in, the assistant shared the info with Dr. Batson so I did not have to repeat all of the answers again (love that). Dr. Batson examined me, took x-rays and scheduled an appt to have my knee aspirated and a steroid shot. The morning after the aspiration and shot, Dr. Batson personally called me to find out how I was feeling. I was happy to report the swelling was already down and the pain was gone. Dr. Batson also sent the fluid to the lab. When I went to the follow-up appointment, the lab results indicated I had gout. So thankful Dr. Batson was so thorough. Finally took it upon ourselves to visit New River after blood in his stool and they agreed that we should switch his diet. As simple as that. They provided a bland diet and we switched his food to follow and all of a sudden our puppy was just fine. So frustrating that our current vet wouldn't listen to us and kept telling us not to switch the food cause that couldn't be the issue. The checkin process was great, the doctor and vet tech were fantastic, and the lab results were hella fast, and the bill wasn't out of this world terrible. I feel extremely satisfied to be treated there and believe the facility is run amazingly well. From the minute I check in or have any questions, Melinda at the Front Desk is all over it. She runs a tight ship, does it with a great attitude and is extremely pleasant. My PT Richard has been spot on from Day 1. He listens really well, is constantly thinking out of the box and I feel that he is never just prescribing a rote set of exercises like so many PT's do. He set me up with exercises for home and continually adds to that and supplements with new ones in person. He researches, follows up, definitely top notch!
