Anybody but Paul Zaner! I have been a member of The Joint for over a year. I recently canceled it because of low usage. I went into this location for a single visit. Let me tell you, this Dude Paul Zaner was horrible. His attitude was as if he was upset about being there. He had his feet on the seat surfing the internet on his phone. This was a red flag but I ignored it because of the great experiences I have had with Dr. Mo over the years. This one experience with Paul tainted all of my great experiences with The Joint. This dude was very rude and started calling me buddy as if he was some superior Chiropractor. Then he started on this high pressure sales kick. It ended with me telling Paul to keep his comments to himself. He rightfully did so. People. Stay away from this place if this guy is here. This was absolutely horrible. I really am hesitant to leave a good review for fear this location will be swamped with new patients, but honestly all my adjustments have been excellent! Well that's to give some weight to my review: Dr. Skylyr Strader is very skilled at adjusting and his personality is professional and friendly and easy-going. All around a great experience every time I visit weekly. Dr. Skylyr Strader and his adjustments keep me healthy and feeling great. I would recommend him without hesitation. The set up at the Joint Chiropractic (for those who have never visited a location) is similar to a gym membership. You pay a monthly fee depending on how many visits you'd like to have per month. Once you arrive, you simply scan your key fob and you're registered for the visit. The "membership" also allows visits to other locations, but I've only visited this location yet it's good to know I could jump into any other location in case of emergencies. I honestly thought this was a great business till I tried to leave. I called and asked for my subscription to be canceled and also for a refund. They refused to refund the last payment and I just asked them to cancel it if they couldn't. The lady told me she would do that for me. I called again before the billing to double check and they told me they would not cancel and would continue the subscription Unless I come in. I explained I was unable to come into a location and she told me I wouldn't be able to cancel my subscription. It was very difficult dealing with them until I asked if they could email it to me and she said she'd ask. This is honestly the worst company I have ever dealt with. This leaves you feeling twisted for a month, or longer, because they cannot seem to just simply write your name down and check you into the system at a later time after you've been adjusted. And, then - of course, the Dr. you really like and does a good job stops working there and now you are left with not receiving a full treatment as you were use to. Hit and miss, lately a miss! One Dr. is great and he adjusts you very well each time. Others no so much. If you go in and he is not there it is a waste of your time and hard earned money. I went into the office 2 months ago and told them I didn't want any more charges on my account because my daughter got me some visits for a gift..the employee at the desk said well we need to have a card on file since you still have a couple visits left.. so I gave her my card and told her not to charge it, which she immediately did! She then refunded it because she realized what she did, it took almost a week to get back.. anyway at that time I told her to cancel .. lo and behold another month goes by and I get charged again! I was told to come in on the 30th because it will renew again to cancel it. It charged that morning of the 30 th before I could get there. Lots of locations, convenience and low cost. After dealing with lower back pain for a few weeks. I needed an adjustment and researched online a Chiropratic office. With a initial investment of $29 ( don't forget to check in and get additional $10 off at some locations) I felt that if it didn't work I wasn't loosing much. From someone who has spent thousands on chiropractic care from other places. I wanted to avoid another $600 bill from the office I normally went to. I'm very glad I found this place. I signed up for their monthly plan of $69 for 4 adjustments a month. This is a great deal considering what I've paid in the past for adjustments. They have a flexible cancellation as well as long as you stick with it for the 2 billing cycles. On my first visit they went through my medical history and consulted with my concerns. Then he adjusted me, with the loudest back and neck cracks I've ever heard. My discomfort seemed lessened and the pain wasn't as bad as when I first walked in. I know nothing is instant. But the little relief I did get helped me get back to walking around with the family over the weekend and I was very satisfied with this.
