They always have each month schedule of which doctors will be there daily published in their office. Dr. Evans is great and friendly, making my adjustments as smooth as possible every time. The front desk staff is also friendly and helpful. Their monthly membership makes it easy to get adjustments on a weekly basis. This is located in a busy shopping area that can get crowded on weekends during the morning time. There's plenty of parking all around though. I came here to get adjusted. I don't do it often maybe a few times a year. This time the chiropractor felt my back a bit, then told me he won't do an adjustment on me because my bones were "too mobile"....that makes no sense lol. Then they collected the $45 from me. Have you ever done workouts where you know your max limit but you see folks around you sometimes lifting more than you and you say to yourself, what's the worst that could happen if I add one more plate? Well, you injure your back :/ I'm pretty sure I'm not alone whose ego gets the better of you in the gym, eh? After my fiasco in the gym, I literally couldn't get out of my bed the next morning. My entire back felt like it had given up on me and it hurt even while sleeping. One of my colleague suggested The Joint chiropractic and that's how I stumbled upon this particular location. They have a first time visit charge for $29 ($49 thereafter if you don't subscribe to any plans) to checkout this place and kinda give a test run before you make up your mind. They have monthly package rates (for people who have the time to do regular visits, which cover 4 visits per month) or if you don't want to subscribe to the monthly rates, or if you think you can't come in regularly, you could opt for packages (these are based on visits: 6,10 or 20 visits) without the monthly commitment. Let me talk about the adjustment that I received, and my god, I owe my life to Dr. Shinel. From day 1 she was patient with me, examined my injury, understood the pain and listened to all my whining (lol). She went above and beyond to relieve my pain, helped me comprehend what was going on and why it all happened and treated me appropriately. I think I regularly went here for about 2 and half - 3 months or so. She showed me some stretching exercises that I could do after my workouts that would help me with my back and made me realize that I should keep my ego at home while working out (boooo). The most important thing to note here: you can't expect to be up and running with just one adjustment, you have to be consistent and put in some work YOURSELF to strengthen your back, this can't be a one way street (be it stretching, Yoga or whatever). This is not a magic clinic people. I'm going to be honest, I never thought I would need a Chiropractic adjustment, ever, but when I needed one, The Joint really felt like the hand of god (being a little dramatic here). From not being able to get out of bed, to now, where I have almost recovered, doing regular workouts and still taking care of my back, I've come a long way. As I said, this is still a long term process and you can't ignore taking care of yourself no matter what. The Joint has provided me care off and on for many years. I think they have an overall very good product/service from the chiropractors. This is NOT anything negative towards the Chiropractic individuals. However.... On 6/27 - I went in to redeem a voucher (see photos below) that was issued to me when I used the Joint chiropractic care. I went in to claim it and although older had been given to me without any expiration date. I gave them the voucher and it was refused. I asked what is the concern with the voucher. The lady behind the desk was confused and looked back to her counterpart and then turned back and stated, "We give these out when someone joins and they are only good for 30 days". I stated, "I had not been told this and there was nothing on the fine print stating that that was the case and if she would please honor the voucher for me." She declined and responded, "the new vouchers say 30 days on them." I responded, that's good to know because maybe it was an issue and I am glad they changed, but since this voucher does not have that wouldn't it make sense to honor this one. She again refused to honor my voucher and held it behind the desk. I stated, "in that case, may I please have my voucher back". Both she and the gentlemen were resistant but finally gave me my voucher back. At that point in time, I asked, "who can I speak to about this because I don't agree with the resolution. Is there a manager I can talk to?" She then stated, I am the manager and gave me her name as Grace." I then replied, "Oh" and asked if there was anyone above her that I could speak to and she stated, "No, I would have to talk to corporate." side note*: The Joint is a franchise and there are owner/operators. I am curious why this was not an option for escalation. Next I then asked Grace, "Could I please take a blank voucher with the new verbiage on it, so I could have it for reference for corporate?" She again stated, "No, I could not have one." I then asked, "Well, at least can I take a photo?" Grace again stated, "I could not." I then stated, "I am confused, I am not trying to take another voucher - I just want a photo to reference - can you help me understand why." She stated, "No - you just can't". She then had her associate write down the phone number for corporate and it was handed to me. I then asked her what her last name was and resistantly she told me "Saldana" IMPORTANT NOTE: this entire time although I am in pain, they did not offer to have chiropractor see me. This includes a single paid visit, signing up for a plan or use the voucher/figuring out options on the back end. *FEELING*: I ultimately felt that I ostracized for trying to use a voucher they gave me and they didn't want me there. At this point I left the office and went to my car. I called the corporate number and it went to automated message service. The options at this point were as follows: - if you know the person's extension dial it at anytime 1. Current Patient/24 HR Call Back Line 2. Interested in owning a Joint Franchise 3. IT Support 4. Employee/HR 0. All other inquiries I have left a message for both 1 and 0, but still am unsure who I can really talk to about the situation that occurred. read more

My mom joined Joint chiropractor due to pain she was having in the lower back. I paid $79 + $29 for 1st. visit. But after a while mom started feeling better and did not want to cont. that was before Christmas 2023. I just noticed that my cc has been charged $79 on December27, 2023. I called and was told that you have to give writing cancellation and no refund is ever given. Your mom will have points to come in and see us. Not nice like when I first started with them many years ago. In particular the girl up front is fairly rude. Personally I'd suggest NOT going to one of these McChiropractic clinics, and see a real chiropractor instead. They don't even do x-rays here. An x-ray is fairly important if they've never seen your spine before, I highly recommend not getting your back popped until they've actually seen the internals of your spine and what they need to do to properly pop it. Ps---- i'm sure the business is going to come in behind me and try and defend their honor, as they all seem to have excuses. My suggestion to them would be to not reply to every negative comment on yell or Google, and just except the fact that they have some people working for them that aren't very pleasant. Then saw a $79.00 charge on my Credit card a few weeks later, yet I didn't want a membership. I paid $79.00 on the day of my visit. I switched jobs soon after and am not able to go back because of work and time restraints, either way, I didn't ask for a membership! 04/04/2020 updates review I came in at the end of March to cancel my membership. It's April and I've got charged again for the membership. 04/11/2020 management has resolved the issue. I came in on a Monday because I had really bad neck pain. Like some folks, I was nervous. It was my first time at a chiropractor. I made an appointment at short notice and the staff was very understanding and accommodating. The check in process was easy and the front desk was friendly and explained everything. Due to the severe pain on my neck, the chiropractor wasn't able to fully adjust my neck/back on the first visit. She explained why I felt this way and still proceeded to alleviate the pain. I saw some reviews on the staff being "pushy" about the membership but it makes sense. For example: it cost X amount for one visit but if it requires more than one visit (in my case 6) it's more cost efficient to get a membership and pay a sum amount versus X amount every visit. I would highly recommend if you've never been to a chiropractor. read more

Sooo i decided to try out this place cause i was having foot pain . Well when I went and filing out paperwork, I noticed people going in and out literally 5 mins so i was confused . Well when I think of chiropractor I think of a full body assessment and adjustment but not here ... the doctor did message my neck to relieve some knots I had and massaged my foot which was my main concern, adjusted my neck and back and that was it .. less than 15 mins ... im like okay ... when I go pay they are really pushy on you getting a membership which I get that its business and its like 20 dollars a session . I would enjoy coming here more often if they weren't so aggressive with their memberships. I mentioned many times that I just couldn't afford the membership at this time due to finances, and that I will not be able to come every week due to work. But that wasn't good enough for them and they continued to make me feel like I had to sign up for it and had to see them two or three times a week. All I wanted was one adjustment and even that wasn't that great. I left still in pain and kind of irritated that I wasted my time. I most likely won't come back to this location. Interesting new Chiropractic franchise. Overall you're looking at paying about $20 more or less per adjustment with the plans depending on which one you choose. Which is less than my Co-Pay. Dr Douglas, after explaining to him my ailments, adjusted me accordingly (in a different but effective manner than I have ever been adjusted prior). I felt great. This is a no frills, no copay, pay out of your pocket with monthly or per session packages is redefining Chiropractic care as we know it. What you miss after my initial inquisition is that they ONLY do adjustments; no x-rays, no soft tissue work, no massage therapist, no electrical stimulation, no heating pad, etc. I can't comment on the medical efficacy of not having these things or what we lose in these benefits but I do miss them. Dr Douglas gave me a great introduction to The Joint and also his ideals for my health as the patient. Gave me a run down on what to expect and also the perks of using The Joint, especially that I can use my handy barcode (similar to your run of the mill grocery store members card) and go into any Joint franchise to use my subscription. 4 Stars for now because 5 stars is reserved for reliable, consistent performance. Visited this place after receiving a flyer in the mail and an old sports injury was acting up. I could hardly walk. I walked in as a new client at 6pm (they close at 7) and was seen by 6:30. Paperwork is thorough but not incredibly overwhelming. All of the staff is personable, professional, and knowledgeable. I have been adjusted before and it was VERY painful. Here, I felt like I was heard as to what my problems were and not just tossed on a table and pulled in 4 different directions. My injury (a muscular tear) is obviously not repairable in one session. I was offered several stretches to help heal my muscle, recommended rest (despite my whining that I did not want to stop running) and selected a package that worked for me.
