I don't have a problem with the chiropractor but I do have problems with them overcharging me without my authorization. Be careful what you get yourself into. I have been to a lot of different chiropractors in the past, but Dr. Vich for some reason can't get it right with me. 3 times, and all 3 times I left in worse shape than when I walked in. I had a great experience at the joint, the receptionist Jessica answered all my questions before going in to see the chiropractor. This was my first time here, I met with Dr. Rhoe who was super nice and professional, she went through and explained everything to me. I came in for my lower back which has been in pain for over a month now. I know it won't heal in one session but it definitely helped. On my second visit I noticed the pain start to improve a little more. I know everybody has a different situation, so sometimes it takes more time but it feels way better than how it did before! read more

I came in an hour or so after they opened on a quiet, rainy morning and Jessica, the receptionist, was incredibly welcoming and helpful. She spent a lot of time talking with me about the services they offer and displayed a sincere interest in my well-being. Dr. Vich was also very kind. It was my first professional chiropractic adjustment and he struck up pleasant conversation (about Doctor Who) and made sure that I was comfortable. I walked in thinking I was going to come in for the introductory promotion once and call it a day, but I'm so happy and confident in the care I received, that I will probably be going back next week!! read more

They refused to give me an adjustment because the girl up front couldn't find my info on her computer and then lied and got very snippy by saying it was my primary joints fault for not uploading the info even though I receive adjustments all the time at other joints with no problems. Walked in today Sunday with my husband (who already has a membership) and was interested in doing a one time adjustment. My husband signs in right away around 4:10pm. At about 4:15pm I ask to sign up for one time try. Receptionist was hesitant because there are 5 people waiting before us (but only 3 inside at the time) and it would take too long to see me she stated. I was informed I would have to wait 45 mins which I didn't mind, but I felt I was being pressured to come back another day because they close at 5pm. She stated I needed to fill out paperwork and watch a movie, again I didn't mind doing this since I already had to wait for my husband. But I really felt brushed off, as if they didn't want to take me in. I was hoping to try it out because I have been experiencing a lot of back and neck pain. In the end, my husband only waited about 20 minutes and he was out. My experience was not the best. Maybe next time it will be. read more

do not, i repeat do not go to this location! the front desk girl was rude and did not want to take me back even when there was 5 mins left before closing, last time i checked the adjustment was only about 1 min. im sorry that most of us work late, and have to rush in time to be convenient for you, i was told that they would help me out if i bought the membership and became a regular, i guess that was just one of their tactics to get you to commit. also i tried calling management but got nothing in return, they don't care about you they just want your money, they are also messy all around, stay away if you get the chance, the lakewood location is by far better! read more

Two Stars because The Chiropractors are good at what they do yet if you suffer from TMJ ( Temporal Mandibula Joint) Jaw pain usually from grinding your teeth as I do they aren't very educated with this problem. Yet, with this said, the receptionist which seems to be their regular girl (Jessica) is terrible. Really a bad person to have at the front desk, her attitude, and pushiness combined make for a really bad experience for the customers that are really there to see the doctor, yet this is the first person you come in contact with, and well myself being retired from a customer service position knows a bit about this subject, and trust me not a good experience to deal with her. Also be very, very careful you know what you are signing if you decide to go with a plan, read it very carefully or get caught in a web. As you will read other negative experiences here from other customers. You may just be better off doing the walk in thing, paying a bit more, yet not getting caught in a bad situation that you may regret down the road, oh and also in order to get out of a plan, it needs to be in writing, and sent out certified mail, and you have to hope it gets there in time, or get billed for another month, or you can take it to the receptionist and she can forward it for you, but then your having to deal with (Jessica), Good luck. read more

This place is a JOKE! Do not go here unless you want HORRIBLE service. I was in extreme back pain and my chiropractor was closed on the weekend, so I walked in to inquire, per the "walk in" sign. I spoke to the young girl at the desk who said I was next in line, had to watch a quick video, and fill out all this paperwork. She estimated about 10 minutes. This was still worth it to me to try someone new. As I waited, I noticed the doctors office was merely a wall behind the reception desk and was open to the public to hear the entire confidential appointment. Then, more customers walked in; one asked to use the restroom, where he was allowed and walked into the "doctors office" right through the appointment of the previous people-ummm, huge violation of privacy. Then, the doctor comes out, looked like a kid, mind you, but regardless, I was desperate. I'm ready to get adjusted and he calls another customer who just walked in (at this point, I've been waiting fir 30 minutes). I was clearly upset, spoke to the lady who quoted not only the 10 minutes, but that I was next and she was like, "that was just my opinion" and continued to explain the ASININE policy that new customers take more time, so he sees repeat customers first. Ummmmm....yeah...I asked for my paperwork with all my confidential info, which was first denied, then given after I was extreme agitated. DO NOT GO HERE if you value time, privacy, or integrity. read more

I called the Joint in Downey because i have been experiencing a really bad pain in my back for a few weeks now. Jessica the receptionist who's name i got at the end of the call is awesome. at first I thought that maybe I was going to frustrate her because I just honestly had so many questions. I have never received Adjustments before and I have never Yelped either. but after reviewing some not so great yelp reviews that other people have left, I thought I really need to yelp. Jessica sounded very busy when she first answered the phone and I thought shes probably going to put me on hold for a while but she didn't. She was multitasking which i thought was great because i can hear her typing and was still trying to answer all my questions. I don't know how but she seemed to know alot about adjustments. she explained everything thoroughly to me and when i apologized for having so many questions she politely said "Oh no its ok. i want to make sure you feel comfortable coming into our clinic before you come in. you can ask me any questions you have" She talked about benefits of adjustments and all the things it helps with. i didn't even know it helped with headaches. I've had a headache for over a week. I honestly have no idea what these few people are talking about. Jessica sat on the phone with me for about 10 minutes and not once did she seem rude, upset or annoyed and believe me i asked a lot of questions. i would like to let management know that I was iffy about chiropractors and scared but she made me feel so comfortable I will def be visiting the clinic sometime this week. she even ended our call with its my pleasure. which not everyone does now a days. Jessica even offered to send me paperwork through email. so that i wouldn't wait so long when I came in. while on the phone she was telling everyone have a good day and thank you. i personally feel like it seems that people that don't get there way seem to be the ones upset. she did explain that they only see new patients until 5:30 so If someone gets there after 5:30 its not Jessica's fault that they can see you. come on wake up and smell the coffee shes just doing her Job. Don't hold that against her its not her fault. to MANAGEMENT Jessica is awesome look at all the good reviews she has. and she definitely wow'd me I asked her if she was the Dr because she knew so much. she laughed and said no I am the coordinator. read more
