I've been using this chiropractic care for many many years. I've always had a great experience. Today the chiropractor on duty made me really uncomfortable by reading my medical history loud enough for the entire waiting room to hear. When I described why I had the surgery the chiropractor didn't even understand the medical terminology associated with my condition. Honeymoon is over. You should always read the fine print even when the owner himself is telling you something. After6 months I tried canceling my plan and was told by the owner to move to a flex plan with no commitment. Unfortunately, when I went to cancel that plan I was told it hasn't been 6 months yet and the stream won't allow a cancellation. Of course now the owner is not available. Should've just went with the malpractice suit recommended to me instead of trying to be nice and avoid the place. Never let a chiropractor touch you if he or she hasn't bothered to look at your MRI and you have as much hardware as I do holding your spine together. Maybe I should go back and talk to that malpractice lawyer again. read more

Got me in right away and fixed an issues another doctor couldn't.

Although I have been under pretty regular chiropractic care for years I still occasionally push too far and flare up my lower back. It flared up again two days ago and I needed an adjustment. As a member at The Joint I was able to go in and get seen that day without an appointment. I felt better but not quite back to full function. I went in again yesterday and again felt better but not fully back to normal. I just got back today from my third appointment in three days (and all those visits did not need an appointment) and can say I am finally feeling my normal range of motion without pain. I can't imagine how long it would have taken if I had tried that at a different office. Dr Robertson did a great job today and I appreciate being a member and how quickly and easily they helped me get back to functioning better and feeling back to full charge! read more

If you have had chiropractic treatment before and your not interested in paying for new X-rays and consultations, you might consider this place if your looking for a quick adjustment. It's different from any other chiropractor I've ever visited so keep that in mind if you have traditional expectations. They don't accept insurance, but it's very cheap. If you don't have covered Chiro visits under your plan or if you have an HSA, this is definitely an option for you. read more

The Joint is a great place. There is no need for an appointment, just walk in, you are greeted by a friendly receptionist Beth, who knows you by name, she gets you checked in and usually there is no wait to see the doctor. Dr. Murray is excellent, he takes his time doing adjustment, ask questions on how you feel and if you have any other pains, shows genuine concern for you health. I can't say enough on how great they are. You definitely need to go to The Joint in Mount Pleasant!! read more

I started going to the joint because I had a hard time getting appointments other places with my daughters school and sport schedule and the flexible hours worked. I am still going there 5 years later because they are awesome! I need regular adjustments because of chronic neck problem following a car accident years ago. I love the fact that I can go every week if I need to but especially if my neck is bothering me I love not having to wait days to get an appointment. Dr. Murray always gives me a great adjustment and keeps my neck and shoulder in good working order. Beth at the front desk is always so sweet and helpful that I leave feeling like a had lunch with a friend instead of a chiropractor appointment. Love the joint! Dr. Todd is amazing! He is so professional and makes you feel comfortable for those "first timers"! Dr. Neil is so knowledgable and informs you about your spine, posture, and exercises you can do at home without making you feel dumb. I have been wanting to try a Chiropractor in the area for some time now since my last visit many years ago. I really liked the idea of a walk-in theme and since I am getting the adjustments for reasons not associated with an injury this place was optimal. The receptionist was very friendly and after filling out a few forms I was in seeing the Doctor. The doc took some time to explain what treatment he felt I needed based on a quick exam and then performed an adjustment on my neck and back. Overall I really liked this place and they were not pushy with their membership plans. The doc mentioned it and the receptionist showed me the plans but did not ask me if I wanted to purchase it, she just explained it after the doc mentioned it. In the end I did purchased a membership plan because even if I only go once or twice more it would be cheaper than going to a traditional practice. Be warned though that the doctors apparently rotate so if you are like me and only want to stick to one doctor you have to time your visits accordingly. read more

I would strongly recommend staying away from this place. I was a member for years. Their business practices are unscrupulous, especially for a health care facility. I signed up for only two months as discussed with the Doctor. That is what I agreed to as that is what he recommended. After the second month I noted a 3rd month charged to my credit card. When I called them they told me I signed up for a membership...which I never agreed to. However they sent me some paperwork showing that when you buy even one month you agree to a monthly membership which needs to be cancelled something like at least 30 days in advance. When I told them I could not come in for another month and asked for a credit or if I could see them in one month, as I was not able to attend due to my changed work schedule...they sent me to collections. After contacting the Joint Corporate office many times, they told me the issue was resolved. However I received a letter from my credit monitoring agency and nevertheless, my credit is now being ruined. When I contacted Joint Corporate again and was promised a call by the Mount Pleasant office and they told me they would speak to the owner. After waiting one week with no phone call again, I contacted the Joint corporate. The owner of the Mount Pleasant business was quoted as saying "He will never get me nor anyone from this office to call him back, and tell him to contact the collection agency and pay the $59." The owner of this facility is not a good business man and I strongly recommend that if you do go to this place, you do not sign their new member contract as it is not a receipt....but a membership that they con you into buying. For being a healthcare provider...it is quite the scam. The owner of this place is a classless man with his only interest being your money...not your well being. Shame on you The Joint. read more

Watch out when you sign up for a membership. They will do everything they can to keep you from canceling like making you come into the office, written notification, and notification needs to be thirty days in advance. Then they threaten to go after payment through collections. What kind of health profession runs a business like that. No wonder they have so much employee turnover. read more

The joint is great. Far better to be proactive with the treatments than to wait until something major happens, so it's a great service.

This has been the worst experience and I can's say it enough, DO NOT DO IT!! I came in for a "one time" adjustment and purchased one of the many packages they have available directly following the 5 minutes they see you. I was told my card would be billed monthly and if I ever wanted to discontinue my plan, I had to fill out a form stating that I wanted to discontinue service and state why. I did just that, and then was charged the next month. I called and asked why and was told that they never received my email and until I submitted their discontinuation form, which I did, I would continually be charges. Days later, I received a notice from the credit bureau that they had filed with collection for my $49.00 payment which I refused through my bank. These people are crooks and its caused me to hire an attorney and incur legal fees. We have spent a lot of time learning about this company and the people who operate it and there are many other people dealing with the same situation. DONT BE NEXT!!!!!! read more

Nice people but their all about the money. They have 3 VERY BASIC message tables with very little padding in which the do their work on. You get a key fob and use that when you sign in (like at a gym). If you are simply needing a 2-5 minute adjustment on your neck.... maybe go but I would go where they have regular doctors working for a long time or where they have actual doctors. I met a Mr. Scott who just started working there and hurt me while trying to adjust my back. I know that he did not mean too. I have severe problems and need proper equipment and a table that can be adjusted electronically so I don't have to struggle to get on it and in position. They extremely nice guy9s) and I love the receptionist BUT, GO SOMEWHERE that will invest in proper/ANY equipment to do "proper" work and is not a money mill. $15 seems like a bgreat deal but I'd rather pay $25- $35 per visit and stay for an hour and use their TRACTION MACHINE/EQUIPMENT. read more
