I have been a patient of Long Point Family Chiropractic for over a year. Dr. Sean Gaffney provided me with excellent chiropractic care during my pregnancy, alleviating several pregnancy-related discomforts I once thought were "par for the course", such as lower back pain and headaches. Due to some pregnancy-related health issues I developed Carpel Tunnel Syndrome, which Dr. Gaffney was able to alleviate much of the discomfort and numbing - because of this I was able to maintain my job as long as I was able to. I firmly believe that regular chiropractic care was instrumental in helping me cope with the aches & pains of my pregnancy, in addition to helping my labor be a lot smoother and efficient. Dr. Gaffney monitored me closely throughout my pregnancy, tailoring all of my chiropractic treatments each visit. I have had past chiropractors do the same three adjustments each visit for months unless I spoke up and requested them to look into something different. I recommend LPFC for any and all pregnant patients, and I am looking forward to being a patient for a long time. I am a runner and I have had problems with my knees. In the past I followed the typical orthopedic route: MRI, knee injections, arthroscopic surgery for torn cartilage etc. etc. When my knee started hurting again 3 months ago I was dreading going back to the orthopedist. I appreciate the convenience of the office, parking is no problem and it is easy to find. The office is clean with new, useful, and well kept equipment. Staff is very friendly, warm, and welcoming. I have always been impressed by the patience of Dr. Gaffney, I feel as though he thoroughly listens to my aches and pains and gives me his undivided attention the entire appointment, I always leave feeling much better and my time between visits has increased so much that I am now on more of a "maintenance plan" so to speak.
