Professional. Kind. Caring. Capable. That is how I would describe Emmie and Dr. Adele. Emmie is such a a calm, caring, professional young lady. I was so impressed with her, both on the phone and in person. Her professionalism and kindness put me at ease before I even walked in the door. Once I got there, how she handled customers and unexpected challenges was really commendable. I appreciated her calm, kind demeanor and thorough, excellent service. Even with a very busy waiting room and an unexpected power outage, she took no shortcuts and didn't lose her cool. Each customer was attended to with detailed care. What an asset to have on your front line! I was super nervous to meet the doctor after avoiding the chiropractor for 4 years because of the pandemic. I social distanced til the very end lolol! Dr. Adele immediately put me at ease. She was so warm, professional, knowledgeable, kind and understanding. She explained what she was noticing with my joints and everything she was doing, step by step, to help them recover. I joined the plan that day knowing that I would be in good hands. For the better part of a year I was treated with many adjustments (4/month via the Wellness Plan) by various chiropractors. Each session generally lasted between 3-10 mins and with varying levels of effectiveness; depending on what activities I'd accomplished or how hard the week hit me-and of course-the chiropractor I had my back cracked by. In the aforementioned time, I had the opportunity to be adjusted by: Dr. Joel, Dr. Jesse, Dr. Brandon, Dr. Mina, Dr. James, and Dr. Vargas. From my experience, each chiropractic physician had his own particular style within the process of providing the same methods of spinal manipulation or HVLA techniques. In particular, I experienced the most alleviation from discomfort when I scheduled a massage (outside of The Joint establishment) within the week of my adjustment. I also noticed a greater benefit whenever I was consistent with adhering to my own set/regimen of daily stretching. I also enjoyed having Dr. Brandon and Dr. Jesse provide me with "homework" in the form of exercises I could use to help a specific or specific areas of concern. During part of my journey, I'd experience (what I'd call) chiropractic plateau and decided to continue my own self-care regimen minus my current Wellness membership. I'd also had other priorities that led me to abstain from therapeutic back cracking. I decided to pause my membership for two months and when the 2 months dwindled down, I attempted to extend my streak freeze for another month (by my obtained knowledge, The Joint provides the option to freeze your membership account for up to 3 months within a year and the option to unfreeze anytime after 30 days), to no avail. Therefore, my membership resumed. By this time, I'd changed locations in Orlando and decided to visit another The Joint location. Overall, I'd give The Joint 3.75/5. Being my first foray into chiropractic care, it was nice to be treated respectfully and compassionately and given tools to help continue my own specific wellness journey. There were occasional times (2-3) where I did not find my session to be effective and had to personally rehabilitate a particular part of my body to pre-adjustment condition aka less pain/discomfort. I've been going regularly since opening January 2021 and every visit has been an absolute pleasure. Dr. Shaun is incredible, he's so kind and patient. Dr. Joel is also outstanding at his work. David and Olivia at the front desk are total sweethearts. It's a very welcoming office. Working in foodservice, I'm on my feet all day, bending and lifting throughout; They've helped me find a lot of relief for chronic back and neck pain. (Im two stores down from The Joint, they come in every now and then for a bite). Adjustments don't take very long, usually 15-20 minutes max. It feels great and I love how weightless and tension free I am after. The payment plans are super affordable. I pay $69 every month and I get adjusted weekly so every visit is less than $20. There are more options to suit whatever frequency you're seaking. Couldn't recommend it more if you've never been adjusted and/or struggle with chronic tension. read more

THEY HEARD YOU LIKE CATTLE - fam treated here for light back pain and general chiro care - felt immediate pain after treatment at office and couldn't even walk by the afternoon bec of pain after being treated here - he walked out with HERNIATIONS after the adjustment - had to have an emergency MRI bec of pain which reflected herniations and is still undergoing treatment at another facility read more

My initial appointment was great and I felt like the adjustment was thorough and relieved the pressure in my back. In following appointments...Chiropractors are knowledgeable but not attentive enough regarding the issues that I was experiencing in my body. There is a membership mentality here... coming in after initial visit is only a quickie adjustment. And I didn't feel better after my last adjustment. I wish I could give this more stars but unfortunately I had a terrible experience with even the OWNER of this place. There is no consistency between the doctors. The hours are great and the price isn't bad if you're looking for treatment But you get what you pay for. It's between Starbucks and Supercuts so that should tell you the quality of the treatment you'd be receiving. The beat I could say is "at least it's better than nothing". read more

I originally came here for a consultation because my husband injured his back playing basketball. He was having back pain for years doing heavy lifting for work and also being an athlete. All that and a game of basketball put him in a position to where he couldn't even stand up straight anymore. At first I was pretty skeptical because I've heard a lot of horror stories about going to the chiro but my husband took a chance and his back is fully healed after just having a few sessions with Dr. Shaun. At this time I was suffering from intense migraines and tension headaches and was having to take medication daily. It was affecting so much of my daily life and well being that I was missing work and unable to play with my kids. I felt myself going into depression from so much pain. My husband reminded me that Dr. Shaun said that the chiro could help with my migraines so I decided to give it a try. At this point I was in so much pain that I would try just about anything and since my husband felt some relief from going I decided to try. At first I started to go to the one on E Colonial because it was closer to my job. The woman that was working there (totally forgot her name) convinced me to get a membership and said that it would take about a month or two to feel some relief so I started going twice a week. I found myself feeling relief in my back more than anything and had a few days without migraines but only on the days I would go to the chiro. After just a few weeks of seeing her she quit so I decided to see Dr. Shaun. I don't know if it was the consistency of already going to the chiro or if it was Dr. Shaun's expertise that made my migraines stop but I haven't had a migraine since the first session I had with him. I'm now going once a week, not because of migraines but just for stress relief. With my line of work I feel myself getting tension in my upper back from all the stress. I feel so much relief and lighter after seeing Dr. Shaun and if I ever feel any discomfort anywhere else in my body he fixes it immediately in one session. You can tell he's been doing this for a long time and he really cares about his clients.
