I'm very particular about chiropractors because, like any profession, not all are created equal - and these two have always been my go-tos. My massage therapist recommended Dr. Limon specifically while discussing mobility issues with my low back and hip. (They go way back to when they were both starting out in their respective practices.) I dropped by the clinic and filled out some forms on their tablet. It was fairly easy and Jamiel helped me navigate through it when I needed clarification. Dr. Limon greeted me and we talked about my issues and what type of treatment I was looking for, which for me was maintenance. It has been seven months since I started there and I have to say that Dr. Limon has a miracle for me. Of course, I have to remember to keep going once a week. I have skipped 2, maybe 3 weeks because I am feeling fine. Then I get a call from Jamiel reminding me to come in. When my adjustments are more "crunchy" than before, I realize I am neglecting myself. I have been trying to be proactive and doing strength exercises to help my muscles hold the adjustments longer. This pointed to a lifestyle change for me, not to be a lazy butt all the time, but to actually get out there and be physically active. For all the different activities I do and explore, receiving chiropractic adjustments on top of it all keep me aligned, and I feel I can do so much more. The staff is professional and friendly. I have not ventured to other locations because I am happy with this group of people. Good to know that if I am traveling, I can drop in at any of their clinics for an adjustment. I'm a regular on Mondays and I always tell everyone my weekly routine starts with my Monday morning adjustment. Because my job requires me to sit at a desk most of the day, getting a weekly adjustment has certainly helped with my mobility and relieving tension in my muscles especially my neck and shoulders. I've been receiving weekly adjustments and maintained my annual membership for over two years now. 1000000% worth it. Front desk, Jamiel, is always professional, personable, and welcoming. I was attacked by staff. I was attacked by staff. Friday May 26, I had a horrible racist experience with the staff member Paul . I walked into the office to receive relief and a neck adjustment just like I had in the past for my severe neck pain, shoulder, pain, and a headache. The previous times, I have come there. They were always helpful and provided relief. This time Dr. Paul home I had never seen before attacked me, got in my space, and kicked me out of the clinic for no reason. I really liked this place because it is close to my house and the business model is great. Previously I canceled my membership because on multiple occasions they were either closed or the wait was too long. In my profession, time is money. Waiting longer than 2-3 hours due to them being short staffed does not work for me, especially when they told me the wait times would be between 5 to 30 minutes when I signed up for the program! I still appreciated the service they offer and I've always HAD A GOOD EXPERIENCE THERE UNTIL May 26, 2023. The receptionist greeted me and attempted to get me to purchase the plan again, but I declined and agreed to their offer of the walk in adjustment price of $45 every visit with no plan. The receptionist walk me to the back where the adjustment tables were told me to lay face down, just like they always do for myself and the other clients. When I was trying to lay down Paul said "wait a minute just sit down on your butt for a minute and let me talk to you." Even though he saw that I was in a lot of pain, he began to ask me why is it that I don't want to buy a plan. I gave him the reasons I did not want the membership.....OUT OF NOWHERE his hostility filled the air! He replies..."Let me be clear this is not the place for you..." I told him that he could not talk to me like that. Then he looked down on the piece of paper and saw what I did for a living and said," I see what you do for a living and this makes you think that I can't talk to you like this, this is not the place for you get your stuff and go." Paul actually got in my face as though he was about to hit me. He told me to grab my stuff and leave. As a result, after I was kicked out of the office, for no reason, I could not work either one of my jobs for the rest of the weekend due to my pain. Paul proceeds to escort me to the front stating " let's go get out!" The attack was not provoked, and at no point did I ever raise my voice nor was I disrespectful at any time. I have never seen anyone else get treated that way. Paul is a problem that needs to be removed from our neighborhood. I would like a response and outcome. read more

In the decade since we moved to Pinole I've looked for a chiropractor to take over my care as my former retired. A couple of times I took some steps but was turned off by pressured pitches for long term treatment plans that cost $$$$. I had passed by this clinic many times and wondered, but was afraid to take another chance. Finally things were getting pretty bad for me when I was blessed with the recommendation to give this place a chance. Everyone here is warm and friendly. My initial exam was $29! Dr Guzman took his time listening to my issues and used the spine model to explain my issues in layman's terms before he performed an adjustment. There are several tiers of treatment plans, from weekly to even occasional drop in. The package plans are the best deals but at no time did I feel ANY pressure to purchase, the decision was completely up to me. I chose the "frequent flyer" ' (my term, not theirs) plan of weekly for $89 per month. The flexibility is great, no appointments to make, be late, or no show for. I have never waited more than a few minutes for my adjustment. These doctors have given me relief from my pain and hope for my future. They are all good but I'd like to especially thank Dr Hector Guzman and "Dr Rob" Renkin, who are friendly and compassionate and always ask if there is anything else they can address today. Thus far the issue with my back feels resolved and the foot problem is improving, and now they are working on the nerve issue in my arm. I urge you to give The Joint a chance. Today was my first time at this chiropractic office and from intake with Lori to the end was seamless. Lori was super friendly and helpful with the intake forms done via a tablet. The office was clean and fairly busy for a Wednesday around 11am. I noticed how easy it was for patients to just scan their card and then wait in the other room. After intake, I was walked over to the back where 3-4 other patients were waiting - some sitting on the beds waiting for their adjustments with Dr. Limon. Everyone was wearing masks so I didn't feel unsafe and proper sanitization was done with Sani Wipes by Lori which I appreciated! I was a bit hesitant being adjusted in front of other patients but once I met Dr. Limon, all that flew out the window. He introduced himself and carefully listened to my concerns. I did not feel rushed despite the other patients waiting in the same room. He did some magic because I feel amazing! I had neck pain from sleeping in a wrong position and back pain from carrying my 1 year old constantly. I walked out with the Wellness Membership and am sooooo excited about it. I came in for a pain in my left shoulder and now I'm having worse pain that is starting on my right shoulder causing my migraines to flare up even more and my right ear I can barely hear anything because of the pain. I ended up going to see my physician stating that I should cancel the membership. It's so bad that I'm taking pain medication. The staff is friendly but friendly isn't enough and it's not going to treat my problem. Beware of sales tactics and if you're not a fan of fast service then don't come here they don't take time to listen and they do the same adjustments every time from the first time being a customer to the second time re-enrolling and giving them a second chance. I've been coming to The Joint for about three years now. When I first started seeing Dr. T I was all messed up. I was in chronic pain, and it got to the point of me just feeling exhausted and beat up on a daily basis. What made me finally come in was that I had the worst migraine of my life... light sensitivity, noise sensitivity, I even threw up, and it lasted for hours. I've been going to different chiropractors on and off since I was in elementary school. I even went to a different person who specialized in the Korean Specific technique and felt that their prices were too high and I couldn't go as frequently as I wanted. So when my dad told me about the monthly pricing at the Joint, I decided to give them a try. I've NEVER had a toxic release from an adjustment. It was the weirdest thing ever, but I knew that meant I got a really good adjustment with Dr. T and was on the road to recovery. I still go in once every 1-2 weeks, depending on my level of pain and headaches. Chronic pain is crazy, it can totally effect your mood and lifestyle. I feel like I've been able to get my life back without being in constant pain. I can be at work without feeling like I'm broken. I can exercise again and be at my best. Good day to you. So I responded to an Ad from this company and set up an appt., to see how they are with new customers, as well as their services. I received multiple messages and emails, reminding me of my appt. the day before, and this morning. I arrived at 9:35, but they don't open until 10. No problem. When I get inside, I inform them of the intro offer and the Asian gentleman acted confused so I shared the email. Then he proceeded to tell me the Dr is not in and can't help me today.
