I made a first time appointment at 2 PM on a Sunday. I live around the corner and thought this would be a convenient place for me to get treatment. I showed up literally one or two minutes before my appointment time to find a sign on the door saying Dr. Russo would be out of town until next week and the door was locked. Of course, I did not stand around in the blazing sun, and I just left. Two hours later I got a phone call from lyric basically asking why I missed my appointment. I called to explain that I was there and that there was a sign on the door saying the doctor was out of town and the door was locked. Lyric became almost immediately argumentative with me saying the office was just closed for lunch. At no time did he apologize for the obvious misleading information on the front door. I don't know what lyric expects first time visitors to the establishment to think when they show up at 1:58 and the door is locked with a sign saying the doctor will be gone until next week. I wouldn't be nearly as frustrated if lyric hadn't avoided any kind of apology and instead opted to just argue with me. No way I'll be back, I'll find help elsewhere. read more

I have been visiting this office for around 10 years. I love this location better than the last one on Charleston, That was in Boca park. This location is much better. The staff is very friendly. I was mislead and lied to regarding the package. It wasn't mentioned that I had to use all 10 in a month! Everyone has different lives and these past 2 weeks, I was out of town. Secondly, The guy did the $79 wellness plan and added extra visit to make it 10 (which made it locked for 3 months for me to be able to cancel! I even mentioned that I do not want the monthly! OFFICE IS CLOSED ON SUNDAYS - The website shows Sunday hours. There are also Sundays hours listed on the door. I called during business hours today (Sunday) and the AI assistant scheduled a sam--day appointment (Sunday). We arrived for the appointment and the office doors were locked and no one was inside. We called again, (unable to speak with a real person) but the AI assistant listed the office hours as Monday-Saturday. Not cool - big inconvenience, especially when in pain. First I want to say that I love Dr Russo, he is very professional! What I have problem with it's the subscription. I never told that the subscription is for two months minimum! They charge me for the first month and told me that I can cancel anytime. NO ONE said it's a two months contract. I tried to call and ask for my money back but there is no one to talk with. After coming here for a year, I've been told that I have to fill out my paperwork again. They don't send me an email in advance. They just wait till I walk in and then they hit me with the demand for repetitive paperwork. When I checked in, there were only two people ahead of me, by the time I was halfway through my paperwork, there were five or six more people ahead of me. At that point I just gave up because I was only about halfway through their 100 word questionnaire, and told them thanks for wasting my time. I was told when I came in that I was not allowed to receive treatment until I filled this paperwork out. I'm on the fence. Sometimes I feel like I had a good (not great) adjustments and other times I feel like I'm leaving still feeling "stuck" somewhere. The doctors move around too much or when I find a doctor I like they are only there for a few months before they leave. Y'all this man is a scam !! Reviews gotta be fake. The "doc" was a oversized Russian man he said "let me test your reflexes" proceeded to tap the reflex hammer on my wrists, knees, and foot. Nothing moved and he said "very good" i've been an athlete for years I know what real testing looks like. Then he said he was gonna "adjust" me. He cracked my back with an exercise that I could've done myself first off and second when I pointed to my pain in my lower back he only cracked my upper back. What a damn joke I couldn't keep from laughing because no way he thought that I thought he was serious. NOT TO MENTION he treats his staff like GARBAGE. Don't waste your money lol you clearly get what you pay for. After my $29 visit he tried to sell me a package that was going to make me pay wayyyy too much for 4 visits. Did nothing for me except make me think about posting my first yelp review (I'd like to throw in that I actually refused a neck adjustment and he tried to convince me I needed it. The reason I refuse the neck adjustment is because of the way he was testing me I knew better than to trust him with my neck. He just seemed so scammy!! Made my initial appointment for 4PM. I was asked to arrive a few minutes early to fill out some paperwork. The paperwork is disorganized on their iPad. They need to rewrite the script to make it easier to follow. I turned in the iPad and waited for my name to be called. At around 4:20 I started to pay attention, as people who arrived after me were getting treatment first. 4:30 then came and still others who arrived after me were called back. I would suggest going to a more reputable establishment that honors appointments if you are able. Thanks for the response. I made a reservation at 4:00 based on your staff's recommendation. I did not choose that time. The problem is there was only one doctor working which leads to a bad customer experience. I recommend everybody try NuSpine for top quality customer care, an amazing doctor in Dr. Varner, and competitive pricing. I went here and had my vertebrae cracked. The so called chiropractor used force and man handled me to the point of abuse, never did any xrays, and caused so much pain. I afterwards saw my doctor and had an xray done and was told I had bone lesions and a cracked vertebrae. The chiropractor never should have worked on me and the real doctor (DO) told me if I had told her what I told the chiropractor about what was going on she never would have touched me and just sent me to get x-rays. I don't recommand the joint. They don't take care nor act professionally. I was hurt worse by the chiropractor and they don't care about your safety. I will never see a chiropractor again only a DO. Never get an adjustment without xrays its not safe. read more

When I arrived on a Thursday the wait time was a little ridiculous because there was one Chiro adjusting people and there was 8 people waiting to be seen and the line of people were getting more by the minute. Finally the second dr. showed up about 15 minutes later than when they re opened from lunch. Both doctors where busy chit chatting on their phones while I waited there to be seen. I have visited the Joint 8 times. I will never go again. I have had several complaints with the Joint prior. For one, it's far from where I live. It's expensive, and often I feel as though the chiropractors rush you a bit too much. I also dislike that they push the membership plan so heavily, I've had visits where they refused to treat me until after giving me the spiel, and visits where they took on a very condescending tone which made me feel belittled. The membership plan never appealed to me much because I feel like, while the Joint does help my pain sometimes, the quality of the doctors can vary and sometimes I can get treated one day only to be in the exact same level of pain the next. I only really go when I am having a flair up and can't wait until my next physical therapy session Today's visit (3:55pm Jan 10) was actually very good. I wish I recalled the current doctor's name so that I could praise his services. He did not rush me, explained things to me in a helpful manner, and he was even more than polite when explaining the membership plan. Prior to this visit, I had decided that I was tired of the Joint and was looking into competing brands. I had found a chiropractor way closer to me that charges 40 per visit (the Joint is 45 per visit with membership). But because the doctor was so kind, I began to consider purchasing a membership with the Joint after all. However, I wanted to wait for two reasons: I wanted to see if my dad would help pay because I'm a broke college student, and as I mentioned before the quality of sessions varied wildly and I wanted to see if it would have any lasting effects or just go right back to the same level of pain. But when I went out, the receptionist named Robin C. referenced my talk with the doctor and I reiterated that I wanted to wait. She rolled her eyes in the way usually only reserved for 13 year olds being asked to put their plate in the sink, and said that I was being "very foolish." I was surprised at her incredibly rude tone, and didn't know what to do. My mom, there to help me pay for the visit, tried to play it off by joking "well we're rich." We aren't, which is why we're hesitant to buy a membership to a place we've visited only 8 times in 3 years. Robin then began to tell off my mother, insinuating that she didn't want to care for my health, and comparing it to her relationship to her daughter which is perfect because she buys her a joint membership- the ultimate symbol of motherly love I suppose. She also said that I was an awful college student wasting my scholarship money- I should buy a joint membership because I am singly handedly ruining my education by spending an extra 20 dollars at the Joint once every 6 months or so. I suppose I'll be a Harvard graduate by 2024, as I won't be wasting any more money there. My mom, who had endured Robin yelling at us- and I do mean yelling, told her that she was "very irritating," which I think was an understatement after this woman decided to attack my mom's parenting and my intelligence over a joint membership. My mom asked for our receipt and Robin said we were killing the trees. Truthfully we wanted the receipt because her behavior was so erratic we weren't sure she wouldn't retaliate by double charging us, as she hadn't returned my mom's credit card yet and was still continuing the transaction as she shouted at us. I do not like leaving a bad review for businesses, even when I've had some miserable miserable experiences. I know that the experiences are usually nobody's fault and the employees are trying their best. I happen to also work a similar job in which I also encourage customers to apply for added benefits to save money over time- so I understand that it can be a bit discouraging to be rejected over and over. But never have I decided to- while holding onto a customer's credit card, make wild derogatory assumptions about their life, because I simply don't take my job that personally. In short: the doctor who helped me was amazing and performed a helpful adjustment, Robin should consider an attitude adjustment, and I'd much rather learn synchronized swimming with sharks before I ever step into a Joint clinic again. read more

I have seen a few chiropractors in town for neck and back issues. I'm really glad I found this place. I feel like it's a value compared to other in-network and out-of-network business models. I have been a patient at the Boca Park location for a few weeks. The front desk girl Makaylah is a superstar and I want to hire her for my own business. She has the sweetest personality, always smiling and is a skilled coordinator. I have seen Dr Russeau, who is the lead chiropractor, a few times. He is really great and since seeing him, I've been able to start working out on my living room floor. I cursed a few the first time I was adjusted lol. Dr Mercer is also amazing and very thorough. I have an injury to my right knee which has caused many issues for me on that side of my body. After a single adjustment, I felt more stable on that side since injury. I called the office later that day because I was in disbelief. This place is full of chiropractors (Other chiros come in as patients here)! It's fantastic having an open team of people helping you! This isn't the type of place where you make an appointment, wait a long time, are billed for a heating pad, are billed for a tens unit and only get 30 visits a year. This is the type of place where you walk in because you're hurting, get adjusted, and carry on at a pace that keeps you in line. This place is great for maintenance. I actually tried to come here awhile back and was referred to an in-network chiropractor because they recognized that type of provider was best for me at that time. I've been here many times. Never have I had an experience this bad. The receptionist f**cked up and she won't admit it. I got here 3:30. I checked in as usual. There were 4 people sitting in the lobby. I didn't want to crowd the place, so I stepped outside, by the door. As time went by, more and more people came and stood outside with me. The old black receptionist never came out to call any names. 4:50, my patience ran out. I've been here more than an hour. During this time, more than 10 people came after me and left. I went in and check with her. She ask me for my name, typed something on her keyboard, and said I'm next. That's Bullsh*t! She totally forgot about me. I asked her how come so many people came after me and has been seen? Did they all had appointments? Am I the only walk-in this afternoon? She said well the last 3 people before you were all appointments. Oh yeah? Then what about the other 7 plus?! When I'm done this month, I'm cancelling my membership. Then I decided to check out their Backtober promotion here in Las Vegas. The convenience of their many locations in my area is great! Honestly, at first I was skeptical about this fast business type of clinic. I didn't wanna feel like I'm just walking in, getting adjusted, and they're not really paying attention to my condition. Not the case... On my initial visit I told Dr. Blanton exactly what was up with my spine. I asked if he knew how to adjust me while sitting in a chair. YES! And for years that type of adjustment was the most effective. I'd gone in on days where doc wasn't in the office. I can't do that again. I needa make sure he's available cuz he knows my issues and does adjustments that have actually shown improvents especially in my neck; and following the care given from my previous docs. Long story short I was an accident victim way back when. He has expertise in this area. They all do I'm sure. But again, once I'm good with something I won't change. Days I've felt strange tensions in my shoulder muscles or strain in between the shoulders. He takes care of it. Makes it seem easy too. So Wednesdays guys! Go visit! Ask for Dr. Blanton. I've never had to visit a chiropractor in my life(knock on wood), nor have I ever had an adjustment before, but I've seen wifey go through a couple of sessions. Thanks to fellow yelper Julie K., We were in the area and I remembered Julie's talk thread post so we decided to drop by for a visit. Love the modern vibe the moment you step inside. It doesn't have that doctor's office feel to it . Julie had us fill out some info and I met Dr.Lovaas and he took me behind to "where all the magic happens." Dr. Lovaas also took the time out to explain what The Joint was all about, the benefits of being adjusted, and what to expect during my session. After a "flexibility survey"- Look up, down, side-to-side, bend over reach for your toes, bend as far back as I can, etc. I first lay face down and Dr. Lovass goes to work, first getting an overall feel of my entire spine, concluding that he noticed tension in my lower spinal and neck region, which is due to the fact of constant heavy lifting at work. Dr. Lovaas gives you a "heads up" on what's gonna happen... as he is easing the tension off my spine....first, my lower back area,"you're gonna feel a pop here" sounding like a hundred knucles cracking simultaneously...CRRRACK!, Then, face up, crossing my arms giving myself a hug, turned my shoulders one way, my neck the opposite way,"I'm gonna give slight pressure here" and CRRRRACK! Finally adjusting both sides and three different adjustments during my time there, I felt great, thanked Dr. Lovaas and Julie for a great session and looking forward to returning for sure!
