This was my first time here and won't be the last. I sought out Dr Diorio for the Mckenzie method. She was very thorough and took the time to review all of my medical records before recommending any treatment. She carefully listens to her patient and then makes her recommendations. She explained to me that I wouldn't be a good candidate for Mckenzie method because of my cervical stenosis. I really enjoyed her honesty. Later, she placed me in the therapy area where I received electric stimulation and a brief massage. It felt so good. I watched the doctors interaction with all her patients and it was excellent. I have been seeing Dr. Jamie DiOrio for my chiropractic needs for several years now. She is by far the best chiropractor I have ever had. I have had 2 brain surgeries, my C1 has been shaved, and I'm missing part of my skull. I can not be manually adjusted anymore, but with a machine, she is able to adjust me. If you don't like to be manually adjusted but need a chiropractor, she is the best option for you. I mentioned a instance of high blood pressure. The "nice" woman Dr said thar she will give me a SIX WEEK medical card until I see a neurologist. Then she noticed that one pupil is open more than the other which was caused by my detatched retina surgery. At that point I was told I needed a Drs approval. ISNT SHE A DR? I went to my eye Dr about my pupil They faxed the office that im cleared. NO GOOD At this point I went to a different Dr and was approved IMMEDIATELY. Dr. Joseph Nicola has been our family chiropractor for approximately 8 years. His expertise is above par. I had been going to many chiropractors for a pain in my shoulder blade. I could not find relief. When I saw Dr Nicola he explained I had a rib out of place. I had never heard this from any other chiro and was skeptical. After one adjustment the pain went away immediately. I asked when I needed to come back and his response was classic. 'You do not need to come back, I believe you should be just fine.' I'm 32 years old & way too young to be all hobbley woobley and sh*t, but I went in hunched over like Quasimodo from the Hunchback of Notre Dame..... and ready to take drugs to get rid of the constant pain (considering I don't use any prescription or synthetic drugs on purpose-holistic reasons). Apparently, my sciatic nerve was being pinched by my large fanny. I was treated so well by ALL the staff, they were incredibly accommodating and pleasant!!! The treatments were soothing but some hurt like a B**************TCH!! My entire family, all ages, has seen Dr. Vaughn for years. He used the perfect amount of pressure and it not a 'bone cruncher'. I am not a fan of rough adjustments. His team is superb in their massage technique. When you visit you should expect a pre-treatment therapy such as TENS and/or roller table.
