The smoothie itself is really good, but the service sucks. The woman who took my order was very nice and willing to give suggestions, but the workers who were handing out drinks, looked annoyed every single time they handed it out. It left such an uneasy feeling because it almost felt like you were bothering them. It's also really cramped inside. I get smoothies are usually a grab and go, but if you offer açai bowls where you might be sitting and eating, the spot does not offer you the option to do so. read more

I stick to the Ambler Berry fruit smoothie when I come here and am always content with the smoothie. They are currently running a special of two dollars off during the hours of 2-4pm during the week if you purchase a smoothie, you have to mention the words, happy hour smoothie or something of the sort to insure you get the discount. There is another smoothie place called, "Aloha Smoothie", down the street from these guys but I always go to this one. I grabbed a smoothie in here today and absolutely loved it! I am working for a few weeks across the street and I think I found my new go-to spot for a pick me up! They have so many different bowls, juices, smoothies, and even cold brew! I hate banana (which we know is normally in every smoothie), and I was so happy that they were able to substitute it and still maintain a thick and creamy texture in my smoothie. I had the nutter butter and substituted strawberry for banana. It was SO GOOD! Like a peanut butter and jelly in a smoothie! I would get this again and again. They also have this in bowl form. I have been to a few juice pods and this place is just as good as the rest of them. I decided to get their seasonal pumpkin smoothie and it met my expectations! Well blended, tasty and good consistency. The service was good and the lady at the register was friendly. I think the only downside is their ambiance. It is right off the Main Street which is nice on the outside but inside is a bit small and cluttered in the front. They have a freezer right at the door but it says employee only I'm guessing they are tight on space but there really isn't even a place to sit and wait. read more

We used to come here a lot with our family. It's been several months since our last visit and we always loved this place. Just made a family outing this morning and the staff was unfriendly bordering on rude. Enough so that my wife and I both separately commented on it after we left and we are not the overly sensitive type. The kicker in one of the açaí bowls we ordered I found a long hair and a piece of gravel. Yes a piece of gravel. I'm just thankful that the gravel was in my bowl and not the one my young children were eating. This is no joke. We will not be returning. It appears this place has gone down hill over the last year. The best Açaí bowls in or around Philadelphia. I honestly love this place so much. All of their selections are perfection. But you can customize any bowl in any way you would like to make it even better! I've never been disappointed by this place. I stopped in here randomly on my way to an appointment. It took forever to get my order for some reason, and it wasn't just that there were a lot of pickup orders. People were literally walking in, ordering, and getting their smoothies before me. I got a Blue Bliss smoothie and it was $13 of completely undrinkable sludge. I'm not exaggerating--the straw didn't even work and it just tasted like thick, cashew butter. It was probably the worst smoothie I've ever had. I rushed to my appointment and didn't try it until I was in the car or I would have asked for my money back. I don't recommend it here at all read more

They have very tasty juices and smoothies. I've tried pina colada and sunset smoothies and pineapple mint juices so far. Perfect amount of sweetness. I haven't tried the bowls yet but I highly recommend trying this place out if your are nearby and need a fresh drink. read more

My boyfriend loves acai bowls, so I went to go grab one for him early afternoon 12/8. I have been to Juice pod a few times with him before. Acai bowls are very healthy which is why I do go there, unfortunately the staff are very unfriendly. They have very poor attitudes and lack customer service skills. When I try to ask questions about the ingredients or toppings/ add-ons they make you feel like you are bothering them and give you one or two word answers which makes you feel uncomfortable. They had a big sign today which had $2.00 off specials for the acai bowls. I happened to read the sign as they were making my bowl. I asked them why they charged me full price when they were $2.00 off on Thursdays. The young woman said I had to tell her to give me the money off before I paid. I explained the sign did not say I have to tell her to give me the $2 off... the sign says$2.00 off on Thursdays. She continued to make the bowl and did not give me a receipt and did not tell me her name. If my boyfriend and I did not eat healthy I would not ever come back. They need to hire people with communication skills and professionalism in the customer service industry. Just very unpleasant :( read more
