I want to love this place, I really do. The concept is great. The execution is mid at best. The toast was so soggy - serves me right. That needs to be eaten dine-in. Oh, and the avocado they used was so underripe and hard. Nearly inedible. This is my 2nd visit and both visits were "mid". Despite some of the negative reviews I love this juice pod! It's the only location of any acai places around me that sell unsweetened acai. I travel out of my way for it. Nutter butter bowl and the Newtown bowl with added protein are some of our go-to's. I usually get a bowl of just plain unsweetened acai for my 3 year old and 11 month old. They both love it too. They recently made some decor changes and it looks great. Will continue coming here!! read more

I visited here when they first open in fall 2021 and just returned to see how things are going. My verdict: improved! The menu is HUGE which isn't a bad thing but I think that is what slows things down. I think smoothies and bowls will always come out faster here and it makes sense since this called the Juice Pod. I went around 1pm for a smoothie and it was very busy with doordash pickups, high school kids hanging, and gym people. I waited only a few minutes for my smoothie and it tasted great. Prices are real high here for plenty of reasons I'm sure. But if I feel like treating myself, there are no other smoothie places that have as much fresh ingredients nearby so this is worth it for me occasionally. read more

30 minutes for 2 juices, 1 smoothie, and 1 açaí bowl. The fruit in the açaí was frozen ! Not fresh ! Juices had to much foam ! We felt ripped off ! And the smoothie was watery like not enough ice was added. You can tell clearly ownership or management does not care and it's sad to see a local business like this go downhill. Man this place has SO much potential. The menu is great if you are into healthy eating and the vibe is awesome too! Sadly like most businesses right now the issue is with the staff. The girls who worked here were not well versed in the menu and they struggled with simple instruction. I explained 2 modifications to my smoothie to make it low glycemic (no date and 1/2 banana only) but the smoothie I received was so sweet that I had to throw it away after a few sips. It's such a shame because I really wanted this to be my go-to spot (I can walk here from my Brother's house) but sadly after giving it 2 chances, I don't think the service is going to improve. I would also love to see them add things like pasture raised chicken or all organic produce to make the ingredients higher quality and clean! Prices are on the higher side ($12- 13 for a smoothie)... worth checking it out to see if you have a different experience! This smoothie place does offer plenty of food options , I got an açaí bowl mixed in with peanut butter in the blend it also included toppings. I waited a few minutes for my bowl there wasn't many people in this store. Once I received my bowl I started to look through the plastic of the bowl all the way around and it looked that there was 2 different colors unmixed just in my bowl. I've had previous experience working in a very busy smoothie shop. So I had known that the color change wasn't the same throughout because they didn't put peanut butter for the other unmixed color that was more purple and it was lacking added peanut butter flavor and color. I felt very disappointed with the place like this because it definitely was unpleasing and underwhelming because I wanted it with peanut butter which personally I like a lot. Also with the açaí texture the more purple colored açaí texture was way too cold it was actually the consistency of ice-cream that's been in the freezer more than it should be. It was only the smaller portion of the bowl just at the bottom that I had my peanut butter added with my açaí which unfortunately wasn't even a lot of smoothie amount. Everytime I have come to this place there has always been a problem. Today i ordered a wrap, a salad and sweet potato fries to go. I was told the fries would be 10-15, I said that's fine I would wait. 15 min later they bring me my wrap and salad and say the fries would be 2 more min. We come to juice pod often but I'm extremely disappointed about our order today. First off, I ordered when I was 15 minutes away so it would be ready upon arrival and they didn't even have record of my order. I asked to cancel but the girl said no we can still make it. I ordered a salad and a sandwich. In order to checkout I had to pay a up charge for bread (no included option) and up charge for rice (again no included option) in the salad which we never even received. Once we finally got the order the salad had mold all over the cheese portion (which was within the salad.) I told the girl at the desk and someone took the cheese out (missed most of it) and replaced it with a small container of cheese. The moldy cheese was still all over the salad. I'm shocked that I paid $25 for such horrible food and service. To add icing to the cake, the store itself was very dirty and the floors, tables, bathroom looked like they haven't been cleaned in months. Such a shame. They are a small business operating during covid when supplies are low all around and they don't always have control over what comes in. Can people cut them some slack? The reviews are rough for no good reason. Every spot has its good and bad days. They are clearly working hard and have a lot of orders to keep up with. I've been here 4 times now, and all the smoothies I've tried were wonderful and the staff is so friendly. I've finally found my spot!!! I've been searching for a place that has great bowls AND great wraps and this is it! I stopped in here one morning two months ago and have been back basically everyday since. The bowls and salads are absolutely delicious, but however they prepare their chicken is amazing. Each wrap and panini Ive tried (and I've basically had them all) has been better than the next. The chicken tastes like it's right off the grill. Great portion size too. Service is very slow and quite frankly bad. The food is overpriced on top of that, so why even bother? The menu is too big, so they can't keep up with all the different orders and customizations. The "manager", older blonde lady, just makes excuses. Usually it's someone called out, is sick or we are understaffed. It's a bunch of young girls who run around frantically with out any sort of direction trying to keep up. The lack of leadership and food service knowledge is beyond evident and it trickles down from the top. They bury and forget about tickets. So if you order online and they are busy with walk ins, they will just put your order off to the side. If you need more panini presses than purchase them. Assign an employee to a station and have them stay there. I should not be standing around for 45mins for a panini and a salad. Set your employees up for success. If you can't train them properly hire a consultant to spend a few days training and coaching them so they have some tools for success. read more
